I didn't receive the final pictures until September 15. I reached out several times asking for updates and was completely ignored. The lack of communication and professionalism was unacceptable. I would never recommend her to anyone do yourself a favor save yourself the stress and go somewhere else.

She wrote the day down that I needed them by and told me to text her a day before to remind her. When I texted her I heard nothing back from her. She ignored me for several days then responded saying her "computer broke" and she was waiting for a new one. Her computer breaking had nothing to do with her phone and texting me back. If her computer really broke I feel like she would have said that when I initially texted her. Anywho, she then texted me stating I could pick out 3 backdrops to add to my photos free of charge because she didn't get my photos back to me on time. I sent her the backdrops I wanted with the pictures I wanted them on and still have not heard from her. This was over two moths ago! She is kind of unprofessional in my opinion for the price she charges. If you want someone honest with good quality and communication, I would recommend going elsewhere. My photos were just okay, I've had better, but wanted to give someone new a chance. She was also late to the studio for the session. I don't recommend this photographer.

I regretted this decision as my husband passed away two months after our boy was born. They were both so apologetic and kind and invited me back when I was ready to take baby pictures for me. I reached out again when I had reached a safe point in my grief when he was 9 months old. They even took some photos of him with his grandmothers as a combined grandmothers, baby, and mommy and me shoot. Not only did they capture one of my favorite times in his babyhood, they we so sweet with all the grandmas. They navigated a grumpy baby and were so understanding. With it still being 90+ degrees in fall you can only imagine. Thank you again for your empathy and kindness it cannot be duplicated.

I filled out the paperwork and inquired about a later appointment for a senior portrait session and was told that was not possible; it had to be fone now. We took a seat to wait. A bit later, the receptionist brought me another paper saying they lost my first one (within the less than 10 minutes we were there)! Meanwhile, people who entered after us were being called back to take their photos. At least the photographer was pleasant. We'll see how the photos turn out.

We'd really love to gift this to them, but not sure if we could find someone willing to travel to the middle of nowhere or even afford it. Makenzie made our dream come true! I loved her website a lot. It's got great style and a lot of character. When I reached out to her she responded right away and was clear about her pricing which was actually very reasonable. We did have some quotes that were significantly lower, however, those photographers then charge $20 per picture once you receive the gallery. That's not what we wanted. We don't want our whole family messaging each other about which ones they want or make duplicated purchases. We just want a full gallery for all members to download. On the day of, Makenzie arrived early and we walked around to pick the spots best for the pictures. She waited so patiently for our big family (including 5 kids) to get there. Once we got started, she knows exactly what to do, how to direct us and made sure we got everything, the big family as a whole and each family (and even some animals)! Everybody loved how she worked and for a bunch of us that didn't know how to pose we enjoyed the session a lot! The pictures came out after xmas, they were beautiful, organic and so wholesome! They were kind and humble, and easy to work with. They worked around the high sun and heat wave we had, and the photos are beautiful!! They were also on-time (even early) and they knew exactly where to go and when. They were flexible in the timing of events and going from one thing to the next. They were also humorous and fun to talk with while we ran around. Their photo style is really beautiful and I think anyone would love it.
