This serves as reply to the rebuff received to my original review. Again, sadly, the interaction…read morereceived from the club is below an adequate standard. The way we are being addressed is unprofessional and the information enlisted incorrect.
To clarify, the review is for the club in general, not the specific location, as the instructors are the same.
1) The uniform was worn on every single occasion as soon as it was provided to us, however the emblem needed to be sewn on, which indeed had a delay. My son missed wearing the belt ONCE, as we accidentally left this at home having rushed out of the house to ensure we were on time. We sent it in with him on all other occasions, because the very first day we received the uniform my son was told this needed to be put on by the instructors as it needs to be done a certain way, so we always (apart from the one occasion) carried belt in hand. When I mentioned this, we were told my son was wrong, as parents can put the belt on too, but that if we struggled, they could do it themselves, so we put belt on ourselves from then on.
2) the passport photo was indeed never provided, we apologised as we didn't realise just how crucial it was (was only mentioned once that it was a 'law' requirement, note, no reference to the point in law was provided to us to back this claim up).
3) the payment issue was a misunderstanding as communication from club unclear, which we have apologised for as well (tried at least, because, as per the tone of their reply to our review attests to, the verbal conversation from them was abusive in return, completely ignoring what we were trying to say)
4) What professional uses the words 'dumped the child and ran'? Very shameful. I would have respectfully expressed myself this way 'dropped the child off'. No-one ran, my husband dropped my son off and left as always, parents are not allowed to watch. We collected him before the session finished, as we were told he could not participate because of the missed payment as the insurance does not cover him. I have yet to see such clause. We were then kicked out and blamed for having ruined the class for everyone. Unbelievable. Note, we were told we could do a quick transfer payment and just as we were about to rectify our payment misunderstanding were told my son could not do the class anyway and that we had to pick him up. We should have been told this from the start and then we could have picked him up early.
5) Thee was no abusive email, but it's true, we expressed our disappoint and relayed exactly what the instructor on the phone had been telling us, so the original instructor can be aware. We were not told to leave politely, they used words such as 'we're done' and 'we've had enough' among others and told never to come back (in front of our 7 year old son), kicking my ostracised son out, who then came home and told us, his parents (by this point very upset), that he was told he could not practice and could not come back because we have not paid (Note again, we had mistakenly missed ONE payment, that we wanted to rectify immediately, but were attacked instead).
Again, no accountability on their part. Very disappointing And the mannerism paints a thousand pictures.
