I recently had an appt. on fri. after my 1/2 day at work, I said three times and repeated, friday at 3 o'clock, wrote it down. when I went to my appt, they had no record or my appt. scheduled. wasted my gas and time trying to get my wonderful doctor in Alexander for my severe pain and to get an xray. The poor doctors have no idea what goes on in the front office, and what patients go through. It's a shame, and probably why they keep loosing wonderful, caring doctors. The front offices need a major makeover. Very aggravating to say the least.

My husband and I saw her today and my blood pressure that was always elevated just by walking in the office was a wonderful 128 over 80... When I first started going to her it was at a stoke level. Those ratings, IMHO, were unfair. Dr. Baker is demure, yes, and professional in every way one should expect. She's from the south, so perhaps that has something to do with her quiet demeanor, meaning, she acts like a polite, here to do a job, lady. She's the utmost professional. Actually very apologetic when a procedure she needed to do caused me some pain. (It was in a highly sensitive area, and there wasn't anything she could do to prevent the pain without compromising the biopsy sample). I don't really care if the doctor is devoid of sweetness and light as long as they're proficient at what they do. She's pleasant. She smiles. She's not an extrovert. So what?! Dr. Baker IS, what I would call, an 'old school' consummate professional. She explained everything she had to do, why, how long it would take for results and answered all my questions to my complete satisfaction and ease. If you need to go to her, don't hesitate and don't be scared. Be assured that you're seeing a highly experienced person who's A++ in the industry of OB/GYN. I saw her at her CCS Oncology location on Spindrift Drive. (By the way, my results came back, as she told me by phone, "...as perfectly normal". Yes. She called me personally to give me my results). I frequently have to leave messages days in a row with each department to ensure call back. Bills have disappeared, reappeared etc. Today I had a 930am appointment scheduled and verified via email and text, Franklin street doors and lights were locked and off. No one answered calls or knocks on windows. Received a call and voicemail at 10:15am (45 minutes after scheduled appointment and 75 minutes after the office is supposed to open daily,) apologizing stating the receptionist 'had an appointment.' SO DID I lol! Why didn't the doctor I was scheduled to see come see why his patient wasn't there? Weak. Poor form.

I have Guillain Barret Syndrom,which pretty much wipes out your bodys electrical system. and is rare to contract. And only happens in one in 500,00 people. They knew how to work with it. and my abilitys to walk again are slowly coming back. Cudos to their staff, i was using home P.T, it was working, but the folks at NT PT have done a great job with me. will highly recommend them if you have an injury, or other issues.

I spoke to someone on the phone, a polite young lady and gave her my name and phone number date of birth. Then she switched me to a receptionist immediately put me on.. all good no problem that's normal however, when the receptionist came back on the phone, I had explained to her that it was a no fault case and that over the last several months I've had to repeat the claim number 1 million times lol, just making conversation and she hung up on me mid sentence? than half a she became very angry and disconnected the call.. I feel like if you're in the medical field working with the public, especially in therapy where people are obviously dealing with an injury you should be a little more patient than that and maybe let people finish or sentence? It might be time for this receptionist to retire. I will never go there.
