I actually really like this golf course and have played here several times. Great views, fun holes,…read moregenerally good conditions, a nice grill, and friendly people. I'd happily keep coming back. But... ditch Randy. A few rounds ago, I was playing here with a friend when a group of kids jumped in front of us at the turn and completely backed up the course. I tried calling the pro shop to get a marshal out, but nobody answered. The only people who picked up were the ladies in the grill, and obviously there wasn't much they could do. I tried calling for the next three days just to let someone know what happened because it pretty much torched the back nine for us. No answer. No callback. Annoying? Absolutely. Deal breaker? No. Stuff happens. So yesterday I came back to play with my dad and daughter. When I went in to pay, I mentioned what had happened--not looking for anything, just figuring management might want to know in case it was more than a one-off. Enter Randy. Instead of simply listening to the feedback, Randy--the guy apparently in charge--got defensive, offended, and rude, as if I had personally accused him of moving the tee boxes in the middle of the night. The funniest part? Before I even went out, the ladies in the grill overheard me telling my group what happened and basically confirmed, "Yeah... that's Randy." Apparently Randy has a reputation. It's a shame because this is genuinely a great golf course. I'll absolutely play here again. The course gets my recommendation. The views get my recommendation. The grill gets my recommendation. The staff gets my recommendation. Randy does not get my recommendation. Moral of the story: Every golf course has bunkers. Every golf course has hazards. Apparently this one has a Randy. Avoid all three when possible. for the course. for Randy--only because Google won't let me give him a snowman.

Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was frustrating and stressful. Leading up to the wedding, we believed we were paying for 150 guests because that's what was shown on the contract summary. We paid our balance in full early, and no one clearly reviewed the contract with us. Days before the wedding, we were suddenly told it only covered 100 guests. That forced us into the uncomfortable position of calling people and telling them they could no longer come. After multiple conversations, they eventually allowed 20 extra guests, which tells me the contract was not clearly written in the first place. We also brought a truckload of roses and pots for the ceremony area, and somehow a golf course venue didn't have a utility cart or pickup cart to transport anything down. Staff and coordinators ended up carrying heavy items manually down a long path to the ceremony area. The venue did help, but this should have never been an issue to begin with. The food itself was actually very good, but once again the execution fell short. I was only given a tiny plate, and by the time we finished our dances and formalities, the food service had already been shut down. I barely got to eat at my own wedding. The biggest issue was the bar and staff. We prepaid around $1,200 for a bar package, but by the end of the night we were charged nearly $5,000 total for drinks. Instead of communicating with us throughout the night, they waited until the very end of the wedding -- while everyone was celebrating and under the influence -- to approach us for a credit card and pile on additional charges. Meanwhile, during the reception, the bar was being closed while guests still wanted drinks. Instead of simply asking us if we wanted to extend service, security and staff focused on complaining about guests grabbing beers from their cars. If they had just asked me, I would have immediately approved keeping the bar open. I even walked up to the bartender and told him I was the one paying for the wedding, and he looked at me like he didn't care. Several guests also commented that the drinks themselves were disappointing -- weak mixers, very little fruit or garnish, and overall it felt more like a cheap dive bar setup than a $40,000 wedding. Honestly, the bartenders acted like they worked at a hole-in-the-wall dive bar instead of a wedding venue. The attitude toward guests felt rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the night. To make matters worse, security was overly aggressive and added stress during important moments of the night, including right before our first dance. I actually had to make an announcement at my own wedding telling guests not to grab drinks from their cars, which was ridiculous and embarrassing. Then came more issues that honestly should never happen at a wedding venue of this price point. We bought custom his-and-hers champagne glasses specifically for the toast, and nobody from staff ever poured champagne into them. We literally couldn't even do the toast properly because the glasses were empty. Then, when it came time to cut the cake, there wasn't even a knife ready. We stood there waiting around for nearly 10 minutes while people searched for something to cut the cake with. Again, just complete disorganization during moments that are supposed to be special and seamless. At the end of the day, we're happily married, and that's what matters most. We got beautiful photos, great memories with family, and an amazing bride and groom experience between ourselves. But for the amount of money spent, the communication, professionalism, bar handling, and overall guest experience fell far below expectations. My advice: if you book this venue, go over every single line of the contract yourself and do not assume anything is clearly explained.

The pancakes here are, without a doubt, some of the best you'll find anywhere! The staff deserves special mention, they are consistently amazing and always so nice, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The outdoor patio offers an incredible view overlooking the golf course and mountains, making your dining experience even more enjoyable. Just a heads up: during busy times, things can take a bit longer, so be patient. It's definitely worth the wait! If you're in the mood for drinks, they have a fantastic selection and they tend to heavy pour, which is a delightful bonus. Overall, this is a must-visit place! Whether you're stopping by for breakfast or lunch, you won't be disappointed!

If you are not a serious golfer, who knows at least how to conduct yourself on the golf course and shoot at least bogey golf this is NOT the course for you! We were behind a foursome of goofballs that had no business being on this course, and that wasn't due specifically to their abilities only, but rather their lack of etiquette and understanding in maintaining pace of play. They were driving their golf carts literally a few feet away from the tee box on some holes and alternating between the blue tees and the white tees. A course, like this needs to have Marshalls maintaining the pace of play. I would highly recommend that management monitor play frequently and ensure that all players particularly the less skilled ones are maintaining their pace of play and if they feel they can't play at the right pace then they should probably play at a lesser challenging course. Again, I love the course but we're talking about nonsense behavior adding at least 30 to 45 minutes of extra time!

At the end of the round I thanked him for his suggestions and told him he should coach. He explained that he did coach and I started lessons and playing rounds with him very soon thereafter. Kyle is an exceptional coach who has been very patient with me in terms of helping me break bad habits in all aspects of the game. I've been working with him for 3 years now and my game has improved significantly. Kyle's focus on balance and proper hip rotation has greatly improved my swing. I couldn't hit out of the traps or chip worth a crap and I've become decent at both. I'd suggest that you both take lessons and play rounds with him if possible as he provides great practical tips and reads greens better than anyone I've played with. In addition to being a great coach, Kyle is a really good and fun guy. I highly recommend Coach Kyle; particularly if you're a beginner and/or have bad habits like I did.

Didn't know Club Champion was even a business until Yelp. Made an appointment online for a full bag evaluation for my husband. Club Champion sent several confirmation emails and called my husband to set up the meeting and experience. We met with William who was very friendly and explained the meeting. Be sure to note that if you do not purchase a new club or clubs then you pay for the club consultation. My husband took about 150 swings with so many varieties of clubs u til he found the right club and head for his playing style. The entire time William gave feedback, evaluated his swing and kept making adjustments to the shaft and head. Seemed like about 20 different variations were performed. My husband opted not to purchase a new club after the session because he will not have time to play for a few months during his coaching season so we just had to pay for an irons evaluation. All of the evaluations are stored in my husband's account and he can go back anytime to order a club with a 90 day guarantee. I liked the set up of the location, the customer service, the flexibility of evaluations and the options available. Great options for local golfers who really want to improve their game.

I wasn't sure not sure if I wanted to go to the expense of a club fitting and definitely unsure about placing an order. But, after taking the first step and scheduling an appointment I found Rob to be an expert with patience :) not being an expert golfer there were many practice shots that went in different directions. However, in a short amount of time and different clubs prepared by Rob the variance between shots grew smaller. And .. with Rob's professionalism I was able to take the next step and order clubs fit to my swing. Yes, the club fitters can be different and that is why I am taking the time to highly recommend you take your time and schedule an appointment with Rob.
