What's even better is the boathouse that has some food and snack options as well as the rental options. The pricing on the food is absolutely fair If not super generous and the pricing on the kayaks paddle boats, etc. is also very fair. This is a great place to come to whether it's warm or cold. The walk is very scenic as are the houses. I have always found lots of families here which is fantastic. This place is truly an asset to the community. I'm so glad that it's here.

Spring Valley is a refuge of about 135 acres comprised of fields, forests, marshes, brooks and streams. Some trails are wood beamed while others are rocks and grass. It's a really enjoyable place to spend a few hours by yourself, with friends and family. Parking and entrances to the park are available on both sides 1) off Schaumburg Road 2) off Plum Grove Road.

They offer no balls or a place to put our rackets like other community centers do. This year we arrive indoors once it gets cold and they haven't put up any nets, 6 are available. The friendly guy at the front desk said the nets are there and you can set them up. What happened to your maintenance man and good customer serve. I asked perhaps I should get a discount for setting thing up for you. I complained to the manager last year and nothing happened. Oh did I mention that when the kids are off from school we get kicked out early. Guess seniors aren't a priority at this center.

Staff is very helpful and can provide info on many of the various classes and programs.

Dreams was not open to even meeting this student or having her try a class. They said they "Tried it once and it didn't work out." It is incredibly disappointing that there are still places in this world, and in our local community, who are not accepting and open minded to differently abled children. As the rest of the world works to become a more inclusive and tolerant place, I hope Dreams takes a look at themselves to figure out how they can be a part of it. I found out about Golf View from a friend and I was so glad to know about this place. $5 to use their basketball court if you are under 18 or $8 for 18+. This is a day rate not hourly which is perfect. This place has 12 rims and plenty of people there on any given day playing basketball. Perfect!!! I peeked around and it seems they offer a nice fitness room. Their monthly rate isn't bad comparing to other fitness center.
