Overall, we had a really great experience. Stillwater is much more than just a place to park an RV. There's always something going on between the pools, lazy river, bar and grill, live music, activities, sporting events, and special weekends. You can stay busy if you want to, but it's also a great place to just relax and enjoy the property. What really made our time there special was the people. We met a lot of great guests, seasonal residents, coworkers, and staff, and several of those people became real friends. That's probably what we'll remember most about our time there. Working for the resort also gave us a better appreciation for everything that goes on behind the scenes. There is a lot of work that goes into keeping a property like this running, planning events, maintaining the grounds, and creating a good experience for guests. Like anywhere, not every day is perfect, but the overall experience for us was very positive. After six months of living and working at Stillwater, we're leaving with a lot of great memories and friendships. We're genuinely thankful for our time there and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a destination-style RV resort in East Texas.

Our site like all others was spacious, level and fully serviced that worked well. The grounds were continually being maintained as well as the shower houses and laundry which were clean each time we used them. The swimming pool was a nice extra as well the sounds of song birds each morning. Staff were available to help with propane or bottled water. We felt the warmth of this community and the standards of this park that promote safety and respect for everyone. The park has a small store of RV needs and is conveniently close to shopping and amenities; even saw a school bus drive in to drop off a student. We would not hesitate to recommend ACRV as a great place to stay.

There are cranes, feral hogs, deer, unique birds and other wildlife in this part of Texas. Should I mention we heard banjos playing in the pines...? The "Ranch" development offers a golf course, restaurant, tennis courts, miniature golf and boating. Lush dogwoods were in bloom when we were there recently, along with beautiful wildflowers and tall pines. I think when I die, heaven will look like Holly Lake Ranch.

We had guests aging from 12-78 and everyone was smiling and excited about something they learned or saw at Dragonhead Retreat! We did not travel to see other attractions in Tyler, Canton nor Edom.
