My husband had a few breweries on a list for us to pick from on a stop on our way to Appleton. He didn't realize there's one down in Tosa, so we likely wouldn't have come if he had known that. The first disappointment was that they only really serve pizza and bread sticks, I usually like fries with my beer but we were going to roll with it. Extra points for the bartender that called to check on allergens. However, there was an hour wait on breadsticks so there was no food readily available to have with the beer. My mood immediately was on the downward spiral. I thought the beer was okay. We ordered a flight, and neither of us had anything that we thought was fantastic. The ambience was actually quite good, and if there wasn't a ridiculous wait on appetizers I'm sure my rating would be slightly higher.

Great service and drinks able to order food locally as well purchase pizza from bar. We'll definitely be back. Great place to hang out and mingle.

Good beer, good times. My guy and I were in the Fox Cities for the day and had plans to meet a friend for an early happy hour at Lion's Tail at her suggestion. We got here about and hour after they opened and ready to try some beers. If I recall correctly, they do not serve food, which is a bit of a downside. But we were prepared with having had a late lunch and plans for a meal later in the evening. They boast a good variety of different beer styles and flavors, as well as lots of seating both inside and out. A great use of a renovated historical building, with a small dedicated parking lot right next to it (but there is plenty of street and nearby public parking available too). I grabbed a table outside (because the weather was spectacular) and sent my guy inside with my desired flight card written out. They were out of one of the things I wanted but I was able to quickly fill that in with something else. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves and had a great time with friends and beer...and that beer was DELICIOUS. I was running low on money for take-home-to-Kentucky beer, but after a flight and a pint I had to narrow down what I was going to buy as to-go! I can't speak to a ton of their beers, but the fruity, sour and slushie beers were FANTASTIC and I enjoyed them very much. Highly recommend a visit from anyone in or visiting the Fox Cities. Definitely worth it.

Lion's Tail experiments with a lot of fruity and hazy IPAs. They are one of the most unique and rewarding breweries in Wisconsin. The tap room is a bit small and usually crowded, but they recently opened a patio. I'm always happy to make a trip to have a delicious, nutritious, and thirst quenching brew from Lion's Tail!

A small little Homebrew with some of the best tasting beer in Wisconsin. I got a flight of four beers and anything with the juice in it is really good.I took a four pack of three of them to go home. Service is nice and friendly. No food though..

My homeland has changed a lot in the 30 years since I left. I'm here (I grew up just across the river, in Menasha) with limited time, so I walked to LTBC for ONE beer, expecting it to be a local craft IPA. But then I looked at the tap list and, lo and behold, there was my favorite beer, which I have not seen back in SF--I've only had it in Tampa. Anyway, I hope I have the opportunity to come back for a more local offering, but on this particular afternoon, the Jai-Alai (and even just its availability) was just the attitude adjuster I needed. 2 other notes: * no "real" food options, but they'll order for you from the pizza place down the street and have it delivered to the bar * the space is really nice in a cool building with history.

I've been here twice. Both times were for events. The first was their grand opening, and it was packed. The second was a shared event between Lion's Tail, Broken Tree Pizza, and the Shinery. It was a great event. Lion's Tail is in a historic building in Downtown Neenah. The building gives this place a ton of character. Lion's Tail does not serve food; however, you can order things to be delivered (including Broken Tree Pizza). They have several local breweries on tap in addition to their own. Their offerings change regularly and are updated on a chalkboard in the main section of the bar. This place is definitely worth a stop.

We enjoyed their Red in honor of Pierce fire trucks. One of the best reds we have had. Also love the atmosphere and the food trucks!!

Proud to have them in Neenah!! The BEST beer, service and environment. You MUST try their Juice Cloud or get a flight and try them all.

We ordered two kids pizzas, grilled veggies panini and a personal pizza. All were delicious but the portions are on the smaller side as my 6 and 8 yr old gobbled up all the pizza and wanted more! Pizza is wood fired thin crust with a nice charred flavor. The beer was excellent as well. Overall, highly recommend it for a family dinner!

Excitement filled me as i aloud said "yasss can chat you up! Hello my 381st brewery!" I was warmly welcomed by friendly & knowledgable beertender Mikey. Staff Stephanie was nearby too. Mikey built me a flight. After making my way partially through the flight & beery chat, Mikey poured me a sample of Charlotte's Revenge Scotch Ale. Mmmmm so good!!! Of my flight, none of the six would i not order again but the Maibock was my victor!! Watch out for My Sophia....she is sly @ an easy drinking 9%. Mikey poured me a blue eyed blonde while telling me it was named for the owners wife. Boom....a few minutes later Mikey "thats the blue eyed blonde behind you". They had a brick oven but we didn't even discuss food. Mikey said they just celebrated 10 years last week, March 4th. They were originally right across the street as Mikey rattled off the store names where they were. Time got away from me so i didnt look @ merch. Thats my second visits task. I really like the tap room!! Spacious, lots of natural light, the exposed brick wall, the kitchen right there and a really big bar. The brew house just outside the tap room. I like the Wisconsin shaped flight paddles. When looking @ my flight list i asked the order? Mikey pointed out there is a tiny "map" on the sheet! I appreciated that w all the rising prices Knuth still offers a reasonable flight of $2 pours! I asked Mikey how to pronounce Knuth? Then forgot to ask its definition or how the owner came up w the name? Knuth checks all the boxes! Delicious beer, fantastic staff, comfortable digs, easy parking & just an all around good vibe! Thanks Mikey & Knuth for providing such a delicious & great experience; looking forward to my next visit, cheers!
