Just love him as a doctor! Wish he didn't retire! The new office sucks. Very unprofessional!

000 Do not go to him.. HE hates all insurance and is only in it for the money. I have been with him for 10 years and I regret every one of them. He draws your blood every year and never gives you the results, thats all he has ever done for the Medicare advantage patients . Dr. Liporace sucks!!! He is a hack! I stayed with him because I thought we had a connection. Then when MyCareMedical took over everything changed and its his fault... he said he would send me a letter to his new practice but he never did. He is a lier and a user. Was a great practice but has gone corporate (MY CARE- there is no longer any care about their patients) and he has gone from a 5 star to a no star.. Complete change in the way they do prescriptions that is shameful they force you to do 30 day scripts on meds they had prescribed for 13 years before they went CORPORATE. Just to force you into unneeded office visits WE made a 3 hour drive yesterday for our yearly exam and scrip refills just to get a 30 day supply of Tamazapam sleep meds. The office manager misrepresented the reason saying it was Florida law and or "the insurance companies".. Not true we have been getting these meds 90 days at a time with 3 refills of 90 days. So were they breaking the law all these years, NOT. Pure corporate GREED.. read more

If I could zero stars I would. If you want a Dr that will up and drop you for being "cash paying" with no notice, then this is the place for you! I was initially recommended to go to Dr Liporace from his wife while I was seeing her as my therapist. Things started off great and I have been seeing him every month for almost 5 years. I moved from FL to Chicago over 2 years ago and they still continued to see me as a cash paying patient during this time. Until I received a letter in the mail that they would no longer see me as a patient anymore because I was cash paying and out of state. They gave me no notice, meanwhile I am on medication that will have a negative effect mentally and physically to me when abruptly stopped. I have been scrambling to find a Dr locally now but everything is booked out months in advance. When I called crying and begging the other day for help from him/what to do, the old lady I spoke to (office assistant) told me "I don't know what to tell you. You should try going to the hospital". I am going to be posting this everywhere and also filing with AHCA, FL Department of Health etc. The neglect and disrespect I have experienced is disgusting. read more

The worst doctor I have ever seen. He attempts to dispense psychiatric advise and medication despite the fact that he is merely a primary care physician- not a psychiatrist, not a neurologist. This is a HUGE liability for him and could be severely detrimental to his patients. What's worse, he treats the patients at the rehab facility that he owns with his wife despite having none of the appropriate qualifications to do so. Dr Liporace is what medicine needs today. He is current and knowledgable. Unlike everyone else that just pushes prescriptions (which is all the uneducated patient wants), he actually diagnoses. He is extremely current in his profession and slot of patients are surprised by that. I am a medical professional so I can tell you first hand that I have seen NUMEROUS patients that are also Dr Liporace's patients. They are cared for in ways other doctors wish they could provide. Unlike that patient who complained on her review, I will tell you you will be well taken care of and yes he will manage things that the "average" primary care would not. If you want average care then go where ever that other person that is complaining is going. If you want care that is far more than you expect from a primary care then see Dr Liporace.
