I had the unfortunate experience of seeing Dr Fernandez who works at Cambridge on a part time basis. Never in my life did I experience a totally unprofessional dare I say doctor. My regular medical person has been out and I was assigned to this idiot. My last visit on May 5th was unbelievable. I drove from Boca to this office expecting a review of my bloodwork from a previous visit. This moron didnt even have the courtesy to tell me my results. He just poked his head in the room and said every thing is good and left. No listening to my heart or lungs which have been congested and wheezing. This is a person who should have his license revoked. If our paths ever cross again, I will decline his services and move on. This was the worst experience in my life. Ray C. read more

Do not go here. Dr Fernandez was completely inappropriate during my appointment and kept saying "good girl" when I am a 51 year old woman. And then he told me he couldn't write prescriptions because of some Florida law, and told me that my pharmacy had to contact them. I'm new to Florida so I thought that was strange, only to find out it was a COMPLETE LIE! I don't know if he is just lazy, but he clearly is the worst doctor. So I then spent 30 min on with my Rx company, who couldn't even find him as a doctor at this practice, and I have had to call the office numerous times with no response. The staff won't call me back. I've wasted going on 2 hours trying to deal with this when the 100% reason I went was to get my allergy medicines renewed! I wouldn't wish that experience on anyone. Do NOT go here. My husband and i have been going to Cambridge Medical for a few years. The staff are busy, so I use the patient portal and phone to request labs and referrals. They have been professional, and helpful to both of us if we have a request. They will also draw blood on site which can save time and/or you can make an appointment with a script at one of the labs. We have seen a few doctors and they have all been excellent. We give them reports, notes and labs from specialists and/or hospitals for our files. It can be complicated when there are many health issues, but we are happy to have Cambridge Medical. They have always seen us for any emergency. read more

Came here 2 xs and each time I come here my experience gets weirder and weirder. I needed to get a steroid cream for my ear. Some weird guy comes out tells me he has to take blood for me. Says I have good veins., only drug addicts say stuff like that left a huge hematoma on my arm when I called the office and asked them why they drew blood. They got very defensive because I know they just did it to build the insurance. It's an unnecessary procedure then the manager got on the phone and told me I refuse to be seen and I'm discharged and slammed the phone down on my face. I'm in a lot of pain and they probably gave me an infected hematoma. I'm definitely reporting them to the Florida Board Of Health definitely reporting the manager for her disgusting gross negligent misconduct.nurse ratchet will be dealt with. I'm gonna have to go to an emergency room and have someone look at this hematoma. They threw me out of practice when I questioned them for giving me an unnecessary blood test because they probably built it to make money. I don't know who that nurse is with the cane who is extremely overweight, but there's something definitely going on with her because she orders things that are not necessary,so she can bill the insurance. Thanks for the painful hematoma and the unnecessary blood test to build the insurance. Nurse practitioner Susan Liefer is the worst doctors office and the rudest person I have ever went to and I don't think she's confident and she orders test to build the insurance. My husband has been under the care of a cardiologist for an aneurysm. He had an appointment to review test results and once again CAMBRIDGE MEDICAL did NOT send over a referral. So incompetent- they gave the Doctor a referral for the tests but DID NOT include a follow up visit! On the day of my husband's appointment the cardiologist called and had to change the appointment. We still are not sure if he will get the referral for this upcoming visit! This is NOT acceptable My husband's condition is life threatening. I continue to try to talk him out of leaving this practice as I did but he has full faith in Susan whom he sees.His full faith may just kill him!!!!! read more

I personal have seen Susan Leifer for the past ten years (2015). I was hospitalized in the month of March for a pneumonia and copd. When i was released i went and saw Susan. It was the worst experience I have ever encountered. Not only was she rude but yelled at me why she was not notified that I was admitted into the hospital and where was her report or discharged papers. After yelling at me she proceeding to ask me if my affairs where in order. My daughter who drove me to her office was in the room and almost fell off her chair. I ask you what right does she have to ask me if my affairs are in order when she walks with a cane and is extremely over weight. My daughter and I were appalled by the way she treated me. After that I had tried to contact her and her nurse because my blood pressure was not normally and I was taken off my blood pressure pills in the hospital. I did not get a call for three days. Her nurse finally called me back and did not no the answer and got Susan on the phone who again yelled and me and hung up. This experience has traumatized me and it has taken me 2 months to write this summary. I write this summary because starving dogs are treated better than i was treated. I am still upset and cry and night when i have flash backs of this experience. I only hope that one day I can put this awful experience behind me. No human being should be put through this experience by a medical professional who went to attended school. read more

Very bad office personnel don't return calls nor do they follow up on patient complaints or care. New office manager is very unprofessional makes suggestions for me to make another appointment with my surgeon to reschedule surgery, even though I called two months earlier to get a pre check up. Again no one has answered and/or the place blame on the doctors. Im unsatisfied with the office and will look elsewhere. read more

Very happy with the care I'm getting with this practice. Jamie is wonderful as is the entire staff. The office runs smoothly and efficiently, everyone is super nice and friendly. The wait time is not long which I appreciate so much. It's rare to have a doctors appointment where you are actually in on time and given as much time as you need with the caregiver. If you have any hopes of getting return phone calls, referrals to specialists, or having necessary paperwork filled out correctly, the first time and delivered on time, then CAMBRIDGE MEDICAL GROUP IS NOT WHERE YOU WANT TO GO. Add an HMO, their customer service skills are skin deep. The lobby office staff are great. I have left no fewer than six calls, in the weeks. I STILL HAVE NO RECEIVED A CALL BACK. I was told that me last message would be marked high priority. I STILL HAVE RECEIVED NO CALL BACK. I have conditions that could lead to stroke or heart attack. If anything like that happens as a result of this lack of attention, it's on them. read more

. I went to Nurse Practitioner Heidi Johnson; she was just lovely. She made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions, and allowed my sister to be in the room with me. It was just a great experience all around. NP Johnson is very knowledgeable; she is professional AND caring,. I made my appointment with no problem. The office staff was very nice. When I checked in for my appointment they were super friendly. I waited maybe five minutes. The office is very nice. They are busy but don't make you feel feel like they are. It is a calm atmosphere. I have been a patient of Cambridge Medical Group since I moved to this area. I find all the staff extremely professional and friendly. The nurses are caring and friendly. I have been treated by Susan Leifer on several occasions and really like her. She really knows her stuff. Dr. Perleman is caring and compassionate and has helped me with several weird medical issues. Went there for the flu, they misdiagnosed me as a cold. A trip to the ER in the same plaza and a large hospital bill later, I do in fact have the flu, though now I have to suffer it out even though I was within the period of starting something for the flu. They did not do a swab test or anything, even though I told them I had the flu, and it wasn't a cold. Also Dr. Mitchell Perelman has been my primary care physician for 1-2 years and I've never even met him! I'm not sure if he even exists! They put me with the nurse practitioner every time. What kind of Dr. does that? That just makes me feel like he doesn't care about his patients, we're all a number and they try to get as many people through the door as possible. Time to look for a new Dr. Avoid like the plague! read more

I gave this office and Dr. Nuria Rodriquez the benefit of the doubt for almost one year, having then newly relocated to Florida. I found her to practice bad medicine and not own her mistakes! She was treating me for a UTI with antibiotic injections ( because I cannot take the oral medication) for 3 days to continue for 7 days, but the office was closed over the July 4th weekend. Her nurse or assistant referred me to an Urgent Care for the 2 closed days. I was told that this facility would be open and that they "have my paperwork". I called over there when I got home and was told that they would also be closed over the holiday weekend, and they had no paperwork of mine. I called the afterhours line for Dr. Rodriquez and she did not want to take my call. When she finally did after I insisted, she told me she didn't know any open facilities, and it wasn't her responsibility to find one for me. She also said that I should just skip those days' injections, until the holiday was over. Most people know that we should not stop antibiotics in the middle, without risk! She told me to call Humana. Humana then told me to call Dr. R. I ended up finally finding a facility that was open. I brought the treatment paperwork to Cambridge and asked that they show it to Dr. R. and put it in the file. I waited several days and no one called me for a follow-up. Finally I asked the office if I could leave a urine sample, since I still was not feeling just right. Dr. R. refused my request until I kept on insisting. Again several days passed and no one called me with results. I called Cambridge and they said they had no results, that there was insufficient urine. They asked me to leave another sample. I don't believe it was insufficient and something odd was going on. I am no longer with Cambridge Medical!.u I was seeing Dr. Rodriquez because the main physician, Dr. Perlman was even worse and I saw this immediately. -- cold, distant, hurried, and uninterested, discouraged referrals! read more

I have seen Susan Leifer for years. I find her compassionate, she never rushes me, and she is very good at diagnosing my needs. I have always been treated with respect and care by Lynn and the other staff at the desk no matter what I need. read more

Dr Nuria Rodriguez was recommended to me by my former primary care physician who was leaving her position and her contract prohibited her from taking current patients. Cambridge Medical is extremely well run. I never wait more than 10 minutes to be seen. They always return calls and are proactive in seeing that I get testing such as mammograms and always call with the results. I called them yesterday afternoon with a problem and they were able to fit me in the following morning. Dr. Rodriguez is very thorough, checking to see that I'm up on my shots and reviewing my meds. I'm very pleased with the care I receive at Cambridge Medical. read more
