Fantastic show! Went for a friend's birthday brunch and it was so fun including the little bday celebrations they do. Emcee did a great job interacting with people and moving everything along. Beautiful place and decor. Our server was so nice and checked on us throughout our stay. Can't go wrong with bottomless mimosas. Food was fine, nothing special. It did take a long time for us to get our bill at the end, we were the only table left, not sure what the issue was but things happen.

Such a fun brunch experience at Lips! Great service, amazing atmosphere and wonderful entertainment! The queens are amazing! All you can drink mimosas were a fun touch. Loved the light up ring shots. Food was good, nothing amazing but decent. Accessible space but would be difficult to get to the restroom I think as it's upstairs and I didn't see an elevator. Street parking.

I had an AMAZING time at Lips today! We came here to celebrate my mom's birthday after she'd been asking for months to come here and now I understand why. The queens are so nice and amazing. They're great servers and even better performers. Super attentive and they give you enough time to get through your meal before the show starts. I got the cheeseburger and fries which I thought was really good. My party enjoyed their food for the most part. There is a 20% gratuity added to every bill, but it can be removed upon request. Also, they can split one bill with up to 4 cards. The venue is gorgeous inside and really sets the scene for an amazing show. It's very glamorous, and I loved it. I highly, highly recommend coming here for a good time! My favorite was the Wings by Little Mix performance It's a bit steep around $70 per person in my group (we did get shots, though, hehe) which doesn't include the singles for the performances but for brunch, bottomless mimosas, and a show? I say VERY worth it. They invite anyone there for a special occasion up on stage to celebrate with them and give them crowns and cupcakes. They will also invite additional people in the crowd up and at the end invites everyone up! They engage the crowd beautifully -- even the people at the bar! Overall, I highly recommend Lips if you're looking for a good time and good food. I'll definitely be back.

Such a fun place! Perfect for celebration moments. A very welcoming environment and the queens are so friendly. They not only serve on stage they also serve you! They double as the service staff and still amanage to look fabulous, so tip generously and have fun! The food was also delicious, my chicken and biscuits was actually very good.

We went for drag brunch on Saturday. WHAT A SHOW! I loved it. We were entertained the entire time. The staff, entertainers were a pleasure to be around. The menu was very tempting and I ended ordering the biscuits with gravy. They had chicken I want to say it was buffalo chicken but I might be wrong. The package came with bottomless mimosas. I was pleasantly surprised having this place in the south loop. I would recommend.

Super fun spot for drag branch. Our lovely drag star/waitress Sapphire was beautiful, charismatic, kind, and a delight. Everyone was friendly, helpful and timely. The show was funny vibrant and everything you would expect from a great drag brunch. Food was standard brunch cuisine. The drinks were great and the shots were delicious. If I had any critique, it would be we felt a little left out sitting in the back. We had a lot of tips, but only a few queens came by so we left with a lot of of the money we came with unfortunately. Other than that, we had a great time enjoyed the show tremendously and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great time on a Sunday afternoon.

Lips was a 10/10 experience! The show & the dinner were excellent & well worth the money. We arrived about 40 minutes prior to the start of the show & that was perfect imo. Everyone working had great energy & was super friendly. The salmon was cooked to perfection, I wish I could go back today & get some more! Same goes for the rice and asparagus. The caesar salad was so refreshing. I was told the wings & Alfredo also tasted amazing. It was nice to eat & watch the show at the same time & I think you're able to time it out the way you prefer! The show.. HONEY.. it was great! Giving a bunch of positive vibes and great energy. You can tell a lot of hard work goes into preparation for their shows. The host was absolutely hilarious! I love they show love to those celebrating a birthday or engagement! This is a mandatory add to your itinerary if you're trying to have a fun time in Chicago! Thanks Lips!

The service was great, despite the servers also being performers they were attentive and knew how to put on a great show! It was a fun atmosphere and everyone seemed to be having a great time! Food was pretty meh, all of it was pretty salty and the dessert was some mini cupcakes that were extra dry. On the other hand the drinks are incredibly strong so you know you're not going to be getting water downed drinks. Don't forget to bring cash to tip the performers!

Fun brunch activity overall but some performers were significantly better than others, and a few just dialed it in... yet expected tips by their walk-around. Personal opinion, you have to be more than wigs, costumes and a ton of makeup to be a drag ... sing or perform well and be entertaining. Or I can just look at historical Halloween selfies. Our server was nice and one of the better performers, but there was one outstanding one that did flips, and I want to know how she kept her wig on! Anywho the decor is very nice, recommend planning ahead with a Park Hero spot in a garage for the cold snowy season

Lips Chicago is must see Drag Show! They have shows from Wednesday-Sunday. I saw in my local paper (Reader) and social media they were offering a new show on Wednesday's Bitchy Bingo Drag Show. Doors open at 7pm. This show was amazing but please bring some singles! As soon as I walked into the building I was impressed by the attention to detail in decor throughout the venue. You are literally transformed into a Drag Show/Queen wonderland where sparkle and shine meets your gaze from the ceiling to your feet. They require a credit card on file for parties of 2 or more. You can make your reservations by phone. You can find street parking or catch the CTA. They have preset menu with vegan to steak options on the menu. If you are popping in for a show by yourself or don't have a reservation you can sit at the bar. Although there was plenty of seating for you to sit at a table. Let me say these queens work hard! Your server is also one of performers so please be patient with them!!!! I ordered the Altantic Salmon dinner that was delicious ! I cleaned my plate. The mango daiquiri was amazing. Go easy on the daiquiri's they have a kick. You meal comes with a preset cesar salad and dessert. They offer $5 shots they add to your bill so need to use your singles. I want to say there were 5-6 performers but I lost count thanks to the daiquiri. I would like to thank my Drag queen server for the drink recommendation . After the show there is a mini brake where all of the tables are cleared and the bingo cards are passed around. There were 3 rounds where winners won free shots for the table, dinner for two, and Gospel brunch tickets for two. Fyi, they add 20% gratuity on to every bill at the end even for one person. Also, there is a atm upstarts near the restroom. You can exchange your bills for singles at the bar. I wished they offered photo options or allot time for photos as some of the performers/servers were moving so fast I couldn't not even stop my favorite ones for a picture. I was able to get one performers but as soon as I turned around to tip her she was gone! Thanks Lips, and Betty Davis for an awesome show! I will definitely be back with friends. Now, I need to grab my Gatorade and Tylenol to repel the side effects of those yummy daiquiri's.

What better way to have a girls night then to do a drag dinner?! We visited Lips on a Saturday night for the drag show. We were greeted at the door and after they located our reservation we were seated at our table up front. Victoria was the loveliest hostess. She made sure we understood how to pull up menu, kept our drinks full and coming from bar as requested. We had a great time in our party of 8. Nice ladies night to take a break from our men. The food was included with ticket. Drinks were extra. We had a variety of drinks and we all enjoyed. Bartender wasn't stingy by any means. The only thing lacking was the dessert. We received a small cupcake for everyone in party. It wasn't anything special. Grab your dollars and head on over to Lips

20/10 stars.... I could literally come here everyday!!! I had such an amazing time from start to finish! Let's start with the food! Freaking delicious!!! Every single bite! I had the shrimp and grits, my brother and mother in law had the chicken and waffles and my partner had steak and eggs and everything was sooooo good with amazing flavors. Oh the plus is is unlimited mimosas, champagne and bloody Mary's. Price was $37 per person but honestly it was so worth it! Like I said I could literally come here every day. The service was fantastic!! They constantly check in with us! Provided pitchers of mimosas on the table and they ensured we had an amazing time. They danced and entertained everyone! They made sure to show love to everyone. What a great place!!! The inside of this amazing place is stunning!! Glitter and colors everywhere. It honestly looks so magical inside ahaha the vibe was just out of this world great. So clean and well put together. They have valet parking for $25 so no worries about that. Total cost for a great time was In total from food and drink ( 4 people) add on, tips, dance tips, and parking was $450. But the extremely amount of fun you had within that period of time with uncontrollable laughter and dancing it's very much worth every penny!!!

How far in advance can you make a reservation for a bachelorette party?

I reserved a month in advance

Can I choose where I sit?

    Hi, no.😔

Do we need reservations for brunch?

Yes! Plan in advance- tickets book up quickly! But so worth it

    Is there parking available?

They have valet parking, not sure about other options.

What day and time is best to make a reservation ? So far I've been. Calling for two days in a row and haven't had any luck.

Leave a voicemail and they will call you back

    Is there a dress code?

    Dressy casual

Is there an age limit? I know it's for adults but can an 18 year old come with parents?

Absolutely! We welcome all 16 and over! And while shows do contain adult language and themes, I bet most 16 year olds know more about this than us older folks!

BUT somehow Chey S. Still decided to alter my receipt and give her a $10 tip. Which I did not give her. To which is also illegal. If this surcharge that they claim allows for them to take care of their employees - then why are they stealing from their customers? Anyone who comes here or has been here- take pictures of your receipts after you've signed and totaled them. I see in the reviews Chey S. Is a commonly denominator in bad reviews. Not sure why she's still employed here. Committing crimes and businesses letting it slide isn't a good look. Still waiting on my refund of $10 for that check 72 from Thursday the 23rd at 11:39pm that I have yet to receive! Idc to pay the $20 for one mediocre drink, but stealing is completely unacceptable. And it being excused even more so. Unfortunately I don't live in Chicago or I would've filed a police report, since this is FRAUD AND THEFT. Just beware of anyone who visits. I SIGNED to pay $20.91 not $30.91. There was a big fat ZERO tip for a reason. SO for check #72, I'll be waiting for that refund.

Red hot Annie led the class, she was full of energy, positive, kept a great pace, and did an excellent job explaining the various dance moves. We would learn portions of the dance and then practice the whole thing to music. We really liked the song selected and the routine! It was prefect for a bachelorette party. Overall it was a fun unique activity to do to get everyone out of their comfort zones. A few girls were worried about feeling uncomfortable but everyone was able to quickly get really into it and feel open to fully embrace it! JEEZY'S JUKE JOINT, AN AFRICAN-AMERICAN BURLESQUE SHOW…read more Loved Jeezy's Juke Joint, an all African-American Burlesque Show!. So much fun, not to mention somewhat educational. :) I enjoyed the MC, Jeez Loueez'. Got a kick out of her crazy humor and her ability to roll with the punches. The eclectic styles of burlesque that the ladies performed were very entertaining and some were more unique than others. I had never seen an all African-American cast of performers of burlesque and this was a real treat. I liked some more than others, but they all did their "thang" and did it in a way that made me feel they loved their craft. Can't be shy here. This is a very sexy show. I loved the campiness of some of the performers and it quite cool seeing slender and "healthier" ladies perform. There was something for everyone. MC Monty and his dancers did a dance number to his rap. Holliwood Monroe can really blow. She has a great set of pipes. Loved her voice. There was a male and a female drag performer, Shea Coulee and Switch the boi wonder. I've been around the block, but I was still enlightened. Among my personal favorites were Coco DuPree's interpretation of Isaac Hayes' song, "Do Your Thing". Her hot 1970's "Foxy Brown/Pam Grieresque" costume, complete with black faux fur jacket and train covering her red with black zebra stripe hotpants ensemble, topped off with a big red fan pick in her "fro" was so "right on" point. Reminiscent of Angela Davis. That girl knows she CAN move! Make no mistake, she did her thang. The girl was "baaaad" and her moves were tight. Praline DuPree's 1950's poodlelicious outfit and spirited dance routine were big fun. She was classy, spunky and coquettish all rolled into one. She had great charisma with a lovely hint of southern Louisiana charm. Horchata Dentata is one strong, tall woman who had some intense control on "the pole". She made it look easy. I expected to see a more petite woman, but I was so impressed with her strength and confidence. I ain't mad at her, no sireee. Foxy LaFeelion did a wonderful 1920's style dance and her costume was beautiful with its many layers. Marz Timms, the comic, was very funny. He cracked me up. I enjoyed Star Dixon's incredible tap dancing and the talent of "Shea Coulee", the rather rhythmic and stylish female impersonator. He definitely worked it for us. All in all, there were about 17 performers and they were all marvelous. They came in all shapes and sizes, which was refreshing to see. It was plain to see that everyone in the theater was having a good ol' time and tappin' their feet. Lots of whoopin' and hollerin' was goin' on. After seeing this show, I wanted to run out and buy some pasties and a red "Wonder" bra.

It's basically a cabaret - a combination of fine dining and interactive Cirque Du Soleil-style entertainment in an intimate setting. The elaborate décor will blow your mind. It's absolutely gorgeous. The quality of the food far surpassed typical dinner theatre fare. Each of the four courses was artfully plated, served at the proper temperature, and downright delicious. The goat cheese bell pepper scones app was more of an amuse bouche than a true course and no other bread was served (unless you order Parkerhouse rolls, an à la carte add-on that costs $16. Indeed!). After that, though, portions were ample. The bourbon peached glazed salmon entrée, plated with inventive side dishes, was perfection. Other à la carte dishes and entrée upgrades are available but no one in our party felt the need to order those. The service was impeccable. Variety acts were interspersed between courses - singers, dancers, a juggler, a comedian, an aerialist, and more. There was a lot of talent but it was comic actor Joe who stole the show, portraying several roles. Totally enjoyable and well worth the ticket price.

A friend and I went here last night…read more I wouldn't recommend it at all. The performers overall were just meh. It was entirely over-priced for what it is. $15 cover charge per person plus there's a 2 drink minimum ($12-15 per drink for weak rail drinks) with an 18% automatic gratuity. You're also expected to tip every single time a new performer comes around for each song. If it was top notch performers, I'd have no problem at all with this but overall, they were ok to meh to just not good. The worst thing about this place though and what really even prompted me to leave a review at all was our server. She was horrible and flat out rude! She came around after about 35 minutes and asked if we would like another drink. We replied "We're good for now. Thank you." And she snapped back, "You need to buy two drinks each. There's a 2 drink minimum." We were like, "Umm, ok. When we finish these drinks we'll order another one." And after she walked away my friend and I both looked at each other and were like, "WTF was her problem?" ZERO customer service skills. Uhh, maybe inform us of that fact without being a complete female dog? I have no problem with a two drink minimum and we planned on getting another drink anyway, but when we're not quite ready for our next drink, don't treat us like a misbehaved child and scold us. She could have simply stated, "Just to let you know, there is a two drink minimum per person. Just let me know when you're ready for your next round," or something similar that didn't scold or reprimand us. Her bad attitude just really pissed me off. When ordering our second round of drinks, I had ordered a long island iced tea. She brought me the wrong drink. So in addition to her attitude, her attention to detail also sucked. I said nothing and just drank it as it was a screwdriver, which I ordered the first round. But to be rude and bad at your job? Truly check yourself, lady. We're customers who did nothing wrong. Can you maybe put forth a single ounce of effort to not be such a See You Next Tuesday? The second star is for the effort that 4/5 of the queens at least put forth. Overall, save your money and go somewhere else or just stay home and use the money to order take out.
