I am patient here for 5 years. I got MRI back it was incorrectly read by radiologist. All i asked lipson to do was request a review of it. She was rude, dissmissive and then threatened my gabapentin. What does that medicine even have to do wth mri on spine. I had mris done somewhere else the dr is great. I already have had 3 appts and a epidural and this b## scheduled me for 90days and said nothing wrong. I did drop off my new mris to her facility. I wouldnt go back there even with apology. I never saw this dr in 5 years i saw patricia bayshore who is muscle spasm specialist. You will never get medicine if you need it. If there was nothing wrong with my back she did procedure in Oct. Dec. And Feb. She just out to get the $$$ she has 0 compassion for her patients. The best thing in that office is the agate chandelier. I also recorded my last appt when she is b### and threatened my medicines. read more

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this Dr, nor staff for future visits. I really hate writing negative reviews, but I will always speak truthfully. I came to this office 1 and a half months after a Major shoulder surgery 3 different doctors had 3 different repair paths. I took the least hardware and have been having issues since with uncomfortable and painful cracking , and with 3 fingers going numb as well as shooting pain from my shoulder blade, down my arm to my fingers. This is causing me to wake up every single night for a month and a half to sit up being unable to sleep trying to remedy my pain with ice, and nerve medications that did not work. When I met the Dr she was polite and courteous, she was overwhelmed with all that I have going on from 3 different areas in my back and neck that have issues, a 2nd time fractured ankle, and daily pelvis pain from some form of blockage in both main veins in both of my legs that leaves me with a 7-9 pain daily, that's not including the issue with my shoulder surgery from a torn Labrum, a cut and rescrewed bone and repairing the joint and socket. I was told by Dr Lipson that I was just healing and it will take time as I sit there in pain. Then stated That she wanted to schedule me for back injections.. But did not order any Mri or any testing of my middle back to see where she wanted to do these injections. I have imaging from my Neck, lower Spine to note. And my shoulder, ankle, and many pages from other doctors about Venous insufficiency which is a BIG problem for someone who is 37 years old. I called a few times and it takes days to get a reply. Their office was open Friday after the hurricane, as well as all this entire week. I received a call back last week Friday , and on Tuesday 10/4/22 2:06pm that they got my message last week, but still no reply... 7 days and 17 days since I had seen the Dr. I simply called to ask what can I do in this situation as the Drs wont prescribe meds to look good on paper. But my pain and your pain will not be the same... so people like me have to find places like these to make their $300-500 a whack drug testing / first visit and to put money in their offices pocket. Also to state my urine is clean and only take meds when I have a surgery/prescribed for pain. I cannot lay on my stomach for 2 more months to get injections and I would never in my lifetime allow someone to state they would inject my back in multiple places to stop pain where she does not even know where it is coming from? I had to call a second pain mgt facility, who immediately called back and got me in the office very fast, to yet overwhelm them and them to prescribe me meds on the first visit stating they do not know how I am able to handle all the pain that has been presented to them in all forms of written reports, Cd's, Mri's, ct scans, and being passed from Dr to Dr's office. I am seeing a lot of Dr's now and had to find a new pain management office to help because this one cannot call back or do anything to help. Not because they cannot help, they are choosing not to even acknowledge me as a person. In the first visit at a different facility... I was prescribed a low amount of pain pills which helped during sleep, as well as a 10 day regiment in pills for a possible infection that may be causing some of these issues in the leg veins. I found relief in another pain management office after this lady's practice charged my insurance like $300 dollars for a first visit, but refusing to send a call back. Weather we had a hurricane or not that is no excuse as this office had been open for 7 days since and not a peep after meaningless phone calls. I do not know how anyone could trust someone who doesn't know where your pain is but wants to schedule you for an outpatient surgery center to give 2-3 injections which are around $1k a piece. These injections are a good way for this persons office to earn money. And if they had their patients best interest at hand this review would have never made it here. 2 STARS FOR THEM being polite when talking, 1 star for taking care of your patients. And this is a NEW patient stating this. They will say their phones have been down. But I work locally to them and that is not true as a few businesses around them have had no issues at all and No issues when calling.. Their fb message was the 3rd about their phones, was called back on the 4th, still no reply on the 7th, initial visit 9/20, call made last Thurs &Fri. If you want your insurance or pocket worked out without results, come here and just get injections for no reason. I have had injections in my shoulder 2 times, and my ankle 4 times, they never work. The point of my post is to warn others of what I have physically gone though at this office. Most replies about staff are true. They dont call back, and the Dr should have ordered testing to go hand in hand with their assessment of needing injections. read more

I had one appointment with Dr. Lipson in January 2024. She was amazing, as was the majority of her staff, with the exception of April. During that appointment they decided I needed a procedure and said someone would call me within a week to get it scheduled. Well cut to April 2024 and no one has called me, except April, about a week after my appointment. She called literally screaming at me telling me that my insurance information had changed and they needed updated information immediately. My insurance plan runs February to February, so a new card had been issued since my first visit. The updated information was provided within 24 hours in person at their office, per her request. I tried to schedule an appointment at that time and was told that the scheduling person had gone home for the day but they would call me the next day. No one called. I have called once to twice a week for the last 2 months trying to get this procedure scheduled. I am always transferred to scheduling, they never answer their phone and they never call me back. At this point I am seeking care elsewhere. I was tempted to do so after dealing with April on multiple occasions prior to my appointment and the one time after my appointment mentioned above. Seriously, she is that bad! She is rude, curt, dismissive and probably one of the nastiest individuals I have ever dealt with at a medical office. I have no idea how she works there, as everyone else in their office is over the top nice. But it doesn't matter how nice they are if they aren't willing to assist you in getting the help you need to feel better and get your quality of life back. The irony here is that they make you sign a form saying you will be nice to the staff. Apparently, April didn't sign a form saying she would be nice to the patients. I really wish I could have continued my treatment with their practice because, like I've said, Dr. Lipson was awesome and I left the appointment feeling like she was really going to help me get my quality of life back. Unfortunately, I was not able to meet with dr. Lipson. It is my hope that she is a much more reasonable person than her staff. However I came to my scheduled appointment after having several phone conversations, and emails To establish care for my surgery that was scheduled the next day. I was assured that was not going to be an issue and I would be perfectly fine to have surgery the next day. That was not the case at all. I was told once I got to my appointment (which was over 1.5 hours away) that Dr. Lipson would not see me because of something completely not related. It was unbelievable to me! I was scheduled to have surgery as quickly as i could establish care and the lack of information that was given to me put my medical well being at risk. I was told lies regarding what kind of care Dr. Lipson would provide ! If I were a new patient I would speak to more than just the secretary to find out what services is provide before going to an appointment. It unfortunately puts a taint on my opinion of Dr. Lipson and the kind of care she provided. I wish that she would have seen me and at very least took responsibility for the major disruption of my medical care. read more

Dr. Lipson has been my pain management doctor for over ten years. During that time she's been supportive in finding what works for me and my health issues. I've done everything from epidurals to facet injections to medication as my conditions have progressed. I truly feel that she cares about my overall well-being and she does what many doctors don't, she LISTENS. I'm grateful for her. I previously lived five minutes from her office but have continued to see her although I moved over sixty miles away. She's a great doctor and I highly recommend her. The only reason I don't give her five stars is because some of her staff haven't always been as responsive as I'd like. read more

I was very disappointed in the way the receptionist treated my husband today. Due to a couple of different circumstances beyond our control we were approximately 15 to 20 minutes late for his appointment. This is the first time that has ever happened. We are usually early and wait patiently to see the dr. However the receptionist was very unpleasant and informed him that he was too late and would have to wait until 1130 to see the dr IF he wanted to wait. Unfortunately we couldn't wait. I understand other patients had appointments but it was the way she treated him that was very rude and unprofessional, as if he did this all the time. Other than that we love the dr but won't be rescheduling anytime soon. read more
