Nice store, good selection for the most part. We dp frequent these a good bit as they are located across the metroplex and easily accessible. I usually stop in to see what's on discount for the whiskey. The normal fare is usually priced well. However like the other stores, the allocated liquors are way overpriced. Some 300% over MSRP. Case in point, the Blanton's normal fare is an allocated whiskey that MSRP is $69.99, they are asking $199.00. Ridiculous, especially when I can catch it at smaller mom and pop stores for MSRP on a regular basis. read more

If I hadn't gone to this store today, I would have rated it 5 stars. Today really pissed me square the hell off though. I spend a ton of money at this store and have been going there for over 3 years. Needless to say, I love the store, they have a huge selection and the employees are all very helpful and nice. Screeeeech. Usually nice. Today, I was checked out by a RUDE RUDE man and because of him, I may not return since I have other options in my area. I don't know if he was an owner or just an entitled, spoiled grumpy old a-hole who didn't want to be there and doesn't care about customer retention. The advertising on the highway worked for us!!! They have lots of billboards, and it was a hop-skip-jump off the exit ramp to get in the front door. This is a big store with lots of selection and good prices. I'm happy - they had the basics, and water too. Will definitely stop in next time we're headed to Glen Rose! read more

Just left the store and a cashier with piercings and pink/purple hair rudely said I want to see your ID, pointing at my 21 yr old daughter, my daughter told her I don't have it with me, I told the cashier I am buying it why her ID? She said because she doesn't have her ID I can't sell to you either because she touched it, because I told her to hand it to me!!! I asked to speak to a manager, the next cashier said ... well whatever you do in your house is your business but hear you can't do that... do what ??? Touch the little bottle of alcohol??? A 21 year old!!!! I asked can she go outside she said no, you can leave and come back in 10 minute!!! WHAT??? When I went back in... the same cashier was waiting on another customer who then told her Merry Christmas... she tells him NO I will not , I don't believe in it!!!! OK!!! Why such a bad attitude... just say " have a great day" simple... rude is her middle name. The Hispanic manager rude #2 ... it has nothing to do with what I do in my home!!! Made no sense!! I was visiting my brother and his kids, just trying to get something to drink and they made it a point to say I wasn't welcome there bc I'm not from Texas. What kind of crap is that??? Typical selection. Staff at the register was not friendly at all. My friends and I tried to check out but two the friends out of five stepped out to get food next door. Even though they weren't there they still demanded everyone's ID to be shown at the register. They were not polite at all about requesting them to return. This is the absolute worst liquor store I have ever been to!!! The man with the long dark hair who is supposedly a "manager" has NO management skills what so ever. I went in with 2 friends to buy liquor and they carded the 2 of them and one didn't have their ID and they didn't sell to them because of it... I get up to purchase my items and HE (long hair "manager") won't sell me my items because I "came" in with them. I walk out and I come back in The store to purchase my items and he then tells me he has a 1 hour limit... I'm so confused because there are no signs on the door that say 21 and over etc. and when I asked to see where their rules and regulations are he couldn't answer me. HORRIBLE customer service and very sickening! read more
