I asked the store clerk how much the bottle was and walked back over to the spot I picked it up from to double check what I saw. He came over and read the price tag out to me, he said that isn't the wine I grabbed. There was only a single bottle missing and I pointed out that I grabbed it from there. He pointed at the location that I guess the wine actually belonged and told me that was the price. Obviously I know the price sir, you had it in the wrong spot! Not just one bottle, a whole bunch!! It cost $20 each for what they said would be a 40 wines to taste but it turned out to be much more, with every type of wine in the books. When you were checked in, you also received a $20 coupon for whatever you wanted to buy from the store, good that night, so everybody pretty much took home a free bottle. The place was mobbed, and the tasting area was the size and general shape of a boxing ring. However, everybody was having fun - especially the people pouring. Win/Win/Win! I looked at her and waved the bottle in my hand to get her attention, asking quietly "is this sweet?"; she shook her head "no" - and kept talking. I selected a bottle on my own after a few minutes and went to the register...she was still talking as she rung me up. She finally said goodbye and started ranting about people always calling or coming in and relating bad news; her comments were f*ck this and f*cking that - she made me very uncomfortable and I couldn't get out of there fast enough......and I won't be going back.
