Overall an East Meadow Establishment - I stopped in to pick up a jumbo case of Poland Spring Water - Guy behind the counter just snapped his fingers and some small and strong young chap carried the case to my car and refused to take a tip from me. They have a tremendous selection of beer and some getting drunk foods. I think overall their selection has gone down over the years. Now, the vibe is more clean with open space. I'll be back - if I'm back in town. Parking is like rolling the dice. I don't like it! read more

This is the best service. Best prices. From the five beverage places around my area Hofstra Hempstead down to bethpage. Yes these guys are the best. Over a hundred different bottles over a hundred different cans of the best beer and they get it when other places don't have it. Seriously, you can find just about any beer here, and I have a great time walking around taking it all in. I'm shocked I have not written a review until now since this is my hometown go to spot for all things carbonated and hoppy. I always get a Hefeweizen when here and something else unique, like a double chocolate stout, or even a Framboise Lambic so I can then mix a little of it with a Hoegaarden to make a Belgian Kiss. If you have never tried that before, now you know... DO IT!!! I have gotten many a kegs here for our backyard parties and the people who work here are super knowledgeable and simply great. The beer enthusiast's dream come true as one does not have to travel far to enjoy beers from Europe, Asia, or other parts of the world. Beverage Barn allows recycle or bottle deposit with a $.5 refund fee for water and soda. To access this beverage shop, one must have a car as it is not near the LIRR. This is my new beer spot. The first time I walked in I was sold. It's a really big place with a lot of different beers. Prices are clearly marked and I like that. I went to another beverage store a few months back and there were no price anywhere. The prices were clearly listed at this beverage barn. In the front of the store they had a lot of different beers (12 packs and cases) that were on sale for blowout prices. I asked one of the employees about it and he said that they always have stuff like that. Since then I've been back a bunch of times. Got fantastic deals on brands like Stone, Long Trail, Magic Hat, Yuengling, Leinenkugel, and others. Staff is always friendly and helpful and even helped us out to the car last time when we got a ridiculous amount of brews. I rarely give five stars but I love this place. read more

This has been my main place to pickup alcohol for the past 10 years. Always have an amazing selection for both casual drinkers and beer snobs alike with the best prices you will find anywhere. The Staff are all awesome people and it has a very mom 'n' pop vibe still very much in tact. One of my favorite beverage warehouses on the Island. They carry a huge selection of craft beer at a reasonable price. If you are looking for something ask the guys and they will try to get it for you. There is a great selection of local favorites, nano brewery offerings and exclusive one offs. They could update their beer menu more often but I have never been disappointed with what I've come away with. Some places will try to gouge and mark up hot limited releases. After A&R closed in Seaford, I discovered Beverage Barn in East Meadow. What a breath of fresh air. If you need a growler fill, the staff are gracious and knowledgeable plus the prices are incredible friendly. This is the best place in Nassau County. Tell everyone! read more
