On our wedding day, I was disappointed beyond words with Laura. I will start with the fact that she LOST more than an hour of photos. This included pictures of my husband going table to table during the reception taking individual pictures with our guests, our cake cutting, and our sparkler exit. How she compensated for losing our wedding photos... Six weeks to the day Laura delivered the photos as stated in the contract. At this time she was forthcoming about the loss of photos and offered an offensively low refund. Which I explained to her that we could not accept this for the following reasons--we spent more time taking pictures with our guests, going table to table, than enjoying the latter part our reception because we had many guests travel from distant places. And we wanted to send those pictures to them with thank you notes. The cake photos, sparklers exit, and group photos outside the venue are disappointing to be lost but all those photos of us and numerous guests at the reception was an irreplaceable loss. Her final offer was to refund 9.89% of our invoiced amount, not good enough. My other huge gripe with her wedding day performance was she had no command or direction over the photos with large parties at all. I would suggest that you would need to have a wedding planner to work with her because she is unable to take charge and work towards achieving the photos you list as the "must-have" shots. Laura excels in outdoor photos with natural light and no need for a flash, which look natural, and candids. On the final photos that were delivered, many of our indoor photos had no consistency in hues, warmth, and brightness. I was washed out in many of the "directed" indoor photos at our church, because of the flash. We brought this to her attention and she was very responsive in being willing to do the edits, but the edits were horrific, thoughtless, unusable changes.

Scheduling the appointment was easy -- I was able to get in within a week of calling. When we arrived, this pair was welcoming and friendly and put us all at ease. Marge was wonderful with our little girl and has a great eye with posing us and our little one. The photos!!! I was truly amazed at the photos. It was so hard to choose which ones to order. The pictures were ready withing 3 business days. All the images were put on a website where I could review and compare as well as order prints. We were also able to send the website to our family members so they could see too! Costs: I think they were very reasonable -- the cost of the shoot was just about $50 for a 1.5 or 2 hour shoot. The pictures themselves are what costs the money especially since we were buying for ourselves and our parents. However, they do offer you the ability to buy the image digital so you can produce as many as you want. I will be using this team for other milestone shots! As an aside - I also just learned that another one of our friends just used them for their wedding back in August 2008 and loved them as well!

At least I'm consistently late…read more We've never done a family shoot since my family became mixed (parents remarried) and seeing as how some folks were moving away figured it was time. Grandparents, parents, and grandkids, the gambit of family members descending upon Occoquan, VA at Christmas. Although Jillian was at our wedding I never saw her in action with the kids. Wow! My niece is really camera shy (and like 3 years old), we all make fun of her school photo (not in front of her of course) because she looks about ready to kill the photographer. Needless to say, that photograph isn't one that can be sent to family members, unless it is to give them a chuckle. Jillian was like magic, instantly setting the little one at ease. Jillian even got her to sing 'Let it snow' at one point, Jillian singing along (which of course made Jillian one of the cool big people) although our favorites were of her Dad tossing her into the air in front of a particularly beautiful Christmas window display, fir garland draping the outside. Of course each couple had their own photos, and I with my Dad, my brother-in-law with his mom. Jillian even managed to get my step-mom involved despite a true hatred of her picture being taken, which means now she and my dad have some truly lovely photos of eachother. It was a fantastic day, fun, and as always relaxed because Jillian is the best. And now we have family photos and some wonderful Christmas time memories.

They were so affordable and talented that she booked them immediately. They set up two meetings prior to the wedding and answered any question we threw at them in a timely manner. On the big day, they texted me that morning & updated me as to their ETA and were early! They immediately began working on outdoor shots, sanctuary photos, etc. The "getting ready" photos were such a special experience and they were so careful to listen to the bride's wants & brought the reference photos we had sent them as inspiration. The ceremony was in a sanctuary so Neethu and Shiji were quiet and unnoticeable during the ceremony. They got great shots and somehow captured the most precious moments without much movement! They let me (the best friend and control freak) help organize the family photos after the ceremony & were so respectful and patient. We worked together to get all the photos done without stressing the couple. The portraits afterwards were so fun and memorable. Neethu took amazing candid shots with angles that complimented the couple & Shiji focused on direction and portraits. After the wedding, they checked in with a few sneak peeks & delivered the completed collection within their promised 6-week turn around. I cannot recommend this amazing duo enough. My husband and I live in NYC, working in professional event design and management. We wanted…read moresomeone who we could trust to execute the details we carefully put together over our two-year engagement so we could fully enjoy our wedding day. Nicole was an asset to us in her execution of the majority of the day-of responsibilities we as the bride and groom couldn't handle. However, there were significant difficulties in the process that required us to take a much more active role than we had expected. At the two week-out mark, we had not heard from Nicole since our intro meeting one month prior, and I asked that she get in touch with our vendors who were emailing me directly. Based on the timeline and division of responsibilities she shared with us, this was to be managed by her. She apologized and explained that another wedding had taken her time during the first two weeks of our month, and that vendors were on her to-do list. When she did reach out, our wedding date was incorrect in many of the emails (1 week off). There continued to be incorrect or partial information distributed to our vendors or added to our timeline. For example, we handed her a complete shuttle schedule organized down to the minute and she translated it into her timeline software with only a start time. We went through round after round of revisions, communicating the exact same details until it was accurately reflected. I think Nicole sensed our frustration and was quick to make the adjustments and move forward with an ever-positive attitude. She was quick to respond and make herself available for phone calls. Unfortunately, these repeatedly missed details only two weeks away from our wedding made us lose trust in Nicole and nervous for the wedding day. Nicole's assistant was not helpful. I asked that she direct my grandparents, who were confused where to be for the ceremony, while we were needed for wedding party photos. She disappeared and I was left to deal with the issue myself. She arrived at our black-tie optional wedding in a bright orange jumpsuit and is in the background of a lot of photos. She interrupted photos later to ask a bridesmaid for pens for our guest book but left without the pens. Small details, but on the day-of these things added to our unease. At 11:59pm, security came in to alert the band that they needed to wrap up and my husband and I were unable to find Nicole or her assistant. The music stopped, and it was up to us to take the lead and direct all our guests out of the venue. It was pretty uncomfortable for everyone. After about 30 minutes of checking in with our vendors and doing a thorough sweep of the venue, Nicole and her assistant showed up with our personal belongings. We would have liked to leave the venue with our guests and leave the vendor coordination to her. Instead, we were the last guests to leave the building after our long wedding day, almost an hour after the party ended. Nicole managed the load-in of our venue and went out of her way to help us pick up our cake when it could not be delivered. She and her assistant moved all of our décor and remaining alcohol back to our hotel room at the end of the night, above and beyond what we expected. She met all of our feedback with grace and positivity. With more attention to detail and support during the full, contracted 4 weeks before our wedding, many of the frustrations could have been avoided, and would have made us feel more at ease on the wedding day.

She's kind and really knows weddings. I had so many questions, and she remained patient, answering them all. She created incredible timelines for all parties (bridal, photo, vendors, etc.) and saved us hours if not days. Nicole ran a great rehearsal which made it super easy for the officiant/bride's brother to oversee his first wedding. On the day of the wedding, Nicole arrived bright and early helping to set up everything we brought. She kept us on schedule and helped calm our nerves. I never had to think about what time it was because Nicole was there to get us to the right spot. At the end of the night, Nicole and her team packed everything up and transferred it to our hotel so that we didn't have to worry about anything. We're so glad we hired a coordinator and even happier it was Nicole.

We are a UK couple who decided to get married in Orlando in September 2014, and let me first say…read morefor me, a control freak, making a decision on who was going to take the photos you would have for the rest of your life without actually meeting that photographer was a huge, huge decision and you have to have a lot of trust and I can say without any doubt in my mind that there was no one who could have done a better job at our wedding than Sandra did. From the start she went above and beyond to help us during the process of planning our wedding. Once we booked Sandra we found that the place we wanted to take photos after the ceremony and have our reception was under a lot of construction work which really had an impact on our plans and when we asked Sandra for advice as she knew the area she sent through so much information about alternate places to take photos, gave us loads of information about alternate places for our reception and sent us photos of these places of other weddings she has done there - she was invaluable in helping us make a decision. Sandra helped us out like this a number of times before the big day and kept in regular contact, answered my random questions and concerns and even called me when I was stressing about certain things, which made us feel really comfortable. This above and beyond approach did not end and even on the wedding day when we had a slight logistical issue getting from where we took our photos to meeting our guests for the reception, she drove us in her own car rather than us pay for a taxi - again, something she did not have to do at all, but it's the little things like this that make the difference, she wanted our day to be as easy as possible and did absolutely everything she could to make sure it was stress free. So, onto the actual photos. We had Sandra booked for 5 hours. She arrived at the venue around 30 minutes before her time even started to take photos of the venue before everyone arrived. She loves the natural shots, so photos of us interacting with our guests, laughing, talking etc are stunning. She captured all of the emotion, and we didn't even notice but she got shots of us from every angle imaginable. Even the 'posed' photos with guests which usually I do not like are stunning and look really natural and not forced like other photos I have seen. Another thing about Sandra is that she really puts you at ease, it's not awkward when she asks you to do something which was a concern I always had (English people are really more standoffish and honestly uptight, I am really like that so I worried it was going to be awkward when we were asked to kiss or look at each other lovingly or do something that could put me out of my comfort zone) but nothing was awkward at all, she is a person you can feel really comfortable around and our guests said that too. Before we left for America for the wedding I had been putting shots I wanted on my Pinterest which Sandra looked at and made sure we got the shots we wanted which was a really nice touch. We got a link to our online photos exactly 3 weeks after the wedding just to check we were happy with everything before she put them on disc. Her favourite shots she copied and makes black and white - all of the photos she chose would have been the ones we did too! We also have been sent our disc with our high definition photos, so we will be receiving those soon. We ended up with 1634 photos in total and there is not a single one I dislike, our friends and family love them all too and I honestly cannot find the words to say just how thankful we are that we came across Sandra. Putting your trust in someone is hard to do, but it was clear from the start we made the right choice and our photos are just beautiful.
