So, I was chatting with my mom about wanting to have a baby, and she googled fertility clinics. Our fertility journey with RFC to be one of strong support and over time...the entire staff felt like family!! My fertility journey at RFC was amazing! We didn't want to leave. We even asked Dr. Lin if he could deliver the baby because we loved our experience at RFC so much! Lori was our coordinator, and Nettie was our second coordinator. They know what they are doing. Dr. Lin is excellent. Don't worry about reaching out to them. They are always a phone call away!! We are now 7 months pregnant with our miracle baby thanks to everyone at RFC!! I called back again at 2 and this time I reached out to the doctor, who never answered. I called back and they then said that the lady who does this procedure had left, and now they wanted me to drive all the way to their other location in Burbank. We…read morewere both 30 years old, healthy, and never imagined we would face challenges with egg retrievals and embryo freezing. I found Dr. Quinn through a recommendation in a Facebook group, and it may be the best recommendation I've ever received. She is, without question, the best doctor I've ever had. My wife and I often joke that we wish she could be our primary care physician because we would trust her with absolutely everything. She is incredibly knowledgeable, but what truly sets her apart is her compassion. She is the most empathetic physician I've ever met. Early in our journey, we learned that my wife had very low ovarian reserve despite being quite young. Suddenly, the path we thought would be simple became much more difficult and uncertain. Over the course of her treatment, we completed four retrievals. We had success with our first retrieval, experienced disappointment with our second and third, and recently completed our fourth. We were overjoyed to learn that we now have three frozen embryos from my wife's retrievals and this part of our journey has finally come to a close. Anyone who has gone through fertility treatment knows it can be an emotional, painful, and often lonely experience. Throughout every setback, every anxious wait, and every difficult conversation, Dr. Quinn, her nurse Josephine, and the entire HRC Fertility team treated us with kindness, patience, and genuine care. They made an incredibly challenging process feel as manageable and painless as possible. I cannot thank Dr. Quinn, Josephine, and the entire HRC team enough. They helped us through one of the most difficult experiences of our lives, and we'll always be grateful for their expertise, support, and compassion.

She is very kind, compassionate, easy to talk to and she made sure we felt comfortable thruout the process and answered all our trillions questions! The entire team runs so smoothly compared to any other clinic I have been to! Everyone responds very promptly, appointments are in and out quick and really felt taken care of! My nurse Jolene was also amazing who would follow up on my emails and any concern I had right away! I had a little complication and I was able to reach the doctor at 6 pm on a Sunday without hassle which is not something you would find with many doctors! I also ran out of my egg retrieval med due to delayed FedEx and another nurse Jospehine reached out to me to again on a weekend and were able to accommodate me with meds so my egg retrieval doesn't have to be cancelled! She even followed up with me next day to check on me. This level of genuine care is very hard to fine, therefore I recommend Dr Molly Quinn to everyone. She is truly the best out there!

Dr. Kornafel was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. She is competent, empathetic, compassionate, a strong advocate for her patients, and she tells a pretty hilarious joke. I've always felt safe and comfortable in her care knowing she's the best out there. She is incredibly patient and will listen to you, she takes her time at your appointments and doesn't rush through your questions or concerns. I always felt better knowing I wasn't just a number at someone's facility. She takes her job more seriously than anyone I've ever met and I'm pretty sure she'll tell you herself this is her life day in and day out. She has truly been my guardian angel and I knew we would have a successful pregnancy under her care. I am happy to report I am currently 15 weeks pregnant as I write this. Not only is Dr. Kornafel amazing, but so is her incredible staff. Jane, who is the office manager, is the most kind, organized, and caring individual. She answers every question/concern promptly and has excellent communication with her patients. She was also so accommodating and always made sure my appointments didn't interfere with work. You're not going to get another Jane if you go to a big facility, she goes above and beyond to be available for her patients. I'm guilty of texting her on several Saturday nights and she was always ready with a response and never made me feel badly. Emi, one of the incredible nurses who you'll work with, is also kind, compassionate, and incredibly competent at her job. She and Dr. Kornafel work very well together and they make an excellent team. I remember literally shaking from nerves during my transfer and Emi rubbed my hand and reassured me it was going to go well. A week and a half later, I got the best call of my life from Emi telling me I was pregnant. I will never forget that moment and how I felt her celebrate this moment with me. She also came in on a Saturday so that she could be there at my egg retrieval even though she doesn't typically work at Harvest on Saturdays. I was so appreciative that she would rearrange her schedule to come in on a Saturday for me. Lastly, I don't know the embryologist, Van, very well as she started to be there more just before my transfer. But from the few times I've met her I can say she is warm, personable, and from what Dr. Kornafel has told me, a top notch embryologist with extensive experience in the field. I can't thank the amazing team at Harvest Fertility enough for helping give me the best gift in the whole world. I never doubted them and always knew I was getting my baby one way or another. I look forward to going back for baby number two soon!

I never thought I'd be able get pregnant but it was my deepest desire to get have a baby. My primary care doctor told me to go on birth control but that wasn't what I wanted. Seeing Dr. Bei was the best decision I've ever made. He understands the depth and breadth of the female menstrual cycle. It was hard to believe that his medicine would work - but the thing with TCM is that it's a holistic approach, you have to make lifestyle changes too and most importantly, it takes time, but it truly works. After 2 years on his medication, I got pregnant naturally and gave birth to a healthy baby boy and then 8 months later (without going on his medication) I got pregnant again and give birth to another healthy baby boy. His medication does work and it will HEAL your body, but it takes time because that's the nature of TCM. A lot of people are turned off by the office environment, but that's just how Asian clinics operate. If you can look past it and commit, it will be worth it.

Deeply Disappointed with Life IVF - Please Read Before You Choose This Clinic…read more I normally don't write reviews, but after my experience with Life IVF (Arcadia & Irvine locations), I felt it was important to share in hopes of helping others avoid what we went through. We started our IVF journey at the Arcadia location, expecting a full-service clinic. What we quickly found out is that there is no doctor on-site--all procedures, including retrieval and transfer, are done 45+ miles away in Irvine with Dr. Yelian. The only doctor at Arcadia was Dr. Johnson, who only offered brief telephone consultations. During my treatment, I never saw a doctor in person until the day of egg retrieval and embryo transfer. That alone was unsettling. What made it worse was after my egg retrieval, Dr. Yelian mentioned I should look into adenomyosis--which was incredibly disheartening since that was the main reason I was pursuing IVF to begin with. It was clear he hadn't even reviewed my file. I felt like just another number in a system that prioritized volume over care. Following the procedure, I experienced severe pain that required a trip to the ER. Not a single nurse or doctor from Life IVF followed up with me, asked how I was doing, or offered any aftercare guidance. The lack of compassion was astounding. Then, after our first embryo transfer failed, I wasn't even informed by a doctor. Instead, a nurse casually told me the transfer didn't take--without even checking if my husband was present to support me. She offered no next steps, and it took three days of me calling repeatedly to finally get a callback from Dr. Yelian. After everything, I made the decision to transfer my remaining embryos to another clinic. Shockingly, Dr. Yelian tried to scare me during the required phone call by saying other clinics might "put the wrong embryo into you." I was appalled that a doctor would say such a thing--clearly a fear tactic, and highly unprofessional. In the end, we found a new IVF clinic, where we received thoughtful care and attention. We had a successful first transfer and now have a healthy and happy 1-year-old. It's taken me time to write this review as I've been busy with our preemie and adjusting to new motherhood, but I can't stay silent. People deserve to know what they're walking into. If you're considering Life IVF in Arcadia or Irvine, please be cautious. There is zero continuity of care, minimal doctor interaction, and very little compassion shown throughout the process. Your fertility journey is too important to entrust to a clinic that treats patients like numbers on a spreadsheet.

I am writing this review to provide an impartial account of my experience, independent of the…read moreclinical outcome. My wife and I were referred here via Kaiser. While we understood that IVF is a complex process, our experience was defined by a lack of guidance, transactional interactions, and poor communication. Initial Consultations and Onboarding Our journey began with a confident in-person consultation. However, I found it concerning that the doctor did not review our labs or medical history during this meeting. As first-time IVF patients, the terminology and contracts were overwhelming. The "welcome call" intended to explain the paperwork was unhelpful; the staff member was difficult to understand, and the specifics regarding the limitations of our plan were not clearly articulated. Communication and Administrative Hurdles The first major issue occurred after our first round. When our embryo testing came back "inconclusive," we received a brief email and one missed call. When I attempted to return the call five minutes later, I was told I had to schedule a formal doctor's appointment. To speak with someone within 24 hours, an additional fee was required; otherwise, we had to wait 72 hours. After a series of missed connections and scheduling errors on the clinic's part, we finally spoke to a doctor, but received no "next steps" or expert guidance--simply an instruction to return when we were ready. Financial Transparency and "Transactional" Care During the second round, we were blindsided by unexpected charges. We were told mid-appointment that we owed $500 because we had exceeded a set number of visits for the extraction period. This "per-visit" fee was buried in the contract and never verbally highlighted during onboarding. When we filed a complaint, a different doctor acknowledged that communication was a recurring issue with their newer staff. However, the subsequent "clarification" of our contract felt cold. We were explicitly told that the clinic's low-cost business model does not allow for "hand-holding." It was even suggested that other clinics would not take our case or would simply "drain us" of money--a statement we found ironic, as that was exactly how we felt at this facility. Final Assessment The service throughout was strictly transactional. There were no follow-ups, no strategic game plans, and no expert consultations to review why a round failed or how to improve the next. To this day, we have not had a follow-up conversation with the doctor regarding our last round. While some staff members are pleasant, the overarching culture treats patients as numbers on a checklist. If you are looking for a partnership or a medical team that provides professional guidance and empathy, you may want to look elsewhere. Here, the expectation is clear: provide payment, and the clinic will perform the task, but do not expect any support beyond the bare minimum.

I paid over $300 for a prenatal massage here and left feeling frustrated and completely unsatisfied. I came in specifically for lower back pain relief, and despite asking the therapist at least four times to use more pressure, the massage stayed extremely light the entire time. I've had many massages, including prenatal ones, so I know my expectations are reasonable. What made it worse was how my requests were handled. At one point the therapist told me that "if you haven't had a massage in a while your nerves might be asleep," which felt dismissive and didn't really make sense. She then said she would "just press and hold in places" rather than actually massage. That's not what I paid for, especially at this price point. It was clear she was inexperienced, and while everyone starts somewhere, a specialized prenatal setting with premium pricing isn't the place for that learning curve. When I followed up afterward, I was quickly passed off to a business manager via text with very little acknowledgment of my concerns. Their own receptionist had already admitted the therapist was new and less experienced, so the lack of follow-through felt tone-deaf. The owner did eventually offer a full refund, but the way it was handled felt even more dismissive, basically making it clear I wasn't welcome back. Overall this experience was overpriced, underwhelming, and poorly handled from start to finish. I would not return.
