I saw this store while driving by and decided to stop. I'm so glad I did! They had a wide selection…read moreof thrifted, vintage, and boutique items! All of the clothing was in amazing shape. Everything is also very fairly priced, plus they're are a nonprofit. The employee, Harriet, was absolutely amazing! She gave me a quick run down of the store and was just overall so cool. This will definitely be one of my go-to thrift store! It was the best shopping experience I have ever had!

To put her at ease I introduced myself and told her where I lived. I mentioned to her that I'd driven past this place and wondered what it was. She told me to make myself at home and to feel free to look around and take photos if I'd like.I saw some very old oil cans, extremely old large photographs of people long passed.If you can imagine it ; it's likely there.The nice lady also informed me that local cotton is routinely used to further decorate various pieces. To accentuate them if you will. I didn't know that. At any rate; if you have an eye for possible collectibles; this is a must stop for you! Intriguing place indeed!

At first glance I was immediately met with a most unusual dressing screen. Didn't expect that in place like this! What I did see was a large and varied selection of probably the most beautiful flowers that I'd ever seen! Mostly artificial but some fresh.The gentleman running this store was very knowledgeable and friendly! What really caught my eye was a stuffed blue and white cat! This thing felt plush and would make a great gift! I liked it so much that I may buy it and put it up until an appropriate occasion arises. You never know! I liked this shop and I liked it a lot! And was told they were sold out of my size and they weren't sure if they would be stocking more. I asked them to let me know if they decided to restock. Then a few days later I get a message that my size had gotten under another stack of shirts and asked if I was still interested. I said that I was and they are holding it for me to pickup this Saturday. Shirt is less than $15.

It's really hard to pin down just exactly what kind of store this is. They do have some classier…read morevintage pieces than the other similar place that I visited in the same town yesterday. But they also offer newer things such as used pint sized paint cans. There is a nice assortment of scented candles; mostly a product of the modern era. There's a nice collection of aged dinnerware ( not sure if antique) including plates and bowls, and saucers; obviously upscale in nature. There's also a large selection of vinyl records mounted on a wall. Additionally; there is a modern photography studio in the backroom. It's special occasion oriented. Weddings, Graduations, Etc. The folks that operate this place are locals. They were what I expected; genuine and hospitable! They informed me that they were doing a lot business! I'm happy about that! There is nothing that I like more than seeing hometown small businesses thrive!

They don't accept anything that's not pretty much like new. At the moment they aren't taking in anything on consignment. The Thrifted Chic has acquired an adjacent building and will have it up and running in February. At that time they will accept consignment goods!
