Go for the Groupon, don't use for anything else. This office will up-sell you and lie about estimates/charges. If given a range for an estimate of dental work, they will charge you the highest amount in the range (even when they convince you to get more work done while you are sittingin the chair). Come in for one tooth but the doctor identifies three more that are not as bad but could get there? Each "not as bad" tooth will cost the same as the tooth you came in for. (Which further negates the price range estimate, since apparently all teeth cost the highest end of said range.) They will charge you $145 for a doctor's exam even when you get $1000+ work done. The front desk women charged me an extra $85 on my prior visit and didn't offer to refund my card and instead insisted that it be applied as a credit on my next visit. At that next visit, she acted like the $85 was a favor from them. read more

Amazing experience! Lisa Tilton is a great dentist and her staff are all welcoming and knowledgeable, particularly the woman who works the front desk (I believe her name is Linda). My experience left me with a positive feeling (I've had negative experiences with dental care in the past...) Highly recommend this office!!! Let me start this review by saying I just wanted a decent teeth cleaning which I made extremely clear. I purchased a voucher for a teeth cleaning and X-rays with Lisa Tilton, probably mistake number one. I just read a bunch of reviews that were good and thought my experience would be similar and it wasn't, obviously. I got an appointment fast which was nice. The office was also clean and well decorated in the front. Once you go back, the equipment is pretty old and everything is so cramped with machinery on each side of you. It's just uncomfortable. This dental assistant was nice, however, she had no official training because she didn't seem comfortable with what she was doing. After the X-rays, she slimed the paste over my teeth and "polished" them. She told me the dentist would be in and I figured she was going to do the rest. Lisa Tilton came in and sat on the right side of me by my face. She took the vibrational scraper and barely, I mean barely cleaned my teeth. She was done in less than five minutes and didn't even get up. She had me TILT MY HEAD to clean my teeth. I left and my teeth looked and felt exactly the same. It was awful. In fact, I called her when I got down to my car because the whole right side of my upper mouth hadn't been touched. She told me that when I come back, she would go over them again and that I needed whitening strips. She must have mentioned the strips several times when I just wanted a decent teeth cleaning. She had also told me that she would put some bondo on the top of my bottom tooth before I left (due to grinding). When she finished so quickly and jumped up, I asked if we were going to do that still. She said she would have time next time and it would cost $125. I mean, why even offer something if you have no interest in doing it? It was just odd. If this is the kind of detail she puts into maintenance, I would not trust her fillings and intricate work. Never going back here and I would recommend to steer clear. read more

I purchased a cleaning, xray, exam visit from Groupon. Went last September. Maybe it's because i had a groupon and she had great reviews, but it was probably the worst cleaning i have every had. Maybe she does a better job for full paying patients. The front desk staff is very nice, the office is clean and pretty- decorated with lots...lots of pictures of Lisa and her family. Dr. Tilton is polite, smiles non-stop, she did the cleaning- which lasted no more than 10 minutes- it was weird--a couple scrapes of my teeth top, bottom, floss, brush, done. I've never experienced such a quick, incomplete cleaning. During which time she gave me some suggestions for additional services I could purchase- which didn't really bother me- I appreciate the tips. But the reason I will never return is because the cleaning was soooo not up to par. read more

Ok hold on rewind back about just before I walked into their office and ask me how "THRILLED" I was to be visiting the dentist and my look could have melted steel as I have had some pretty less than fun experiences with other dental practitioners either forgetting to numb the tooth first ( no joke I've had a dentist start drilling on the wrong side of my face because he simply forgot which side we were working on in that particular visit..?) or simply being rude about having to stop due to pain throughout the procedure I've never enjoyed going to the dentist EVER.. My visit today was the most comfortable and professional dental visit I've ever had from the kind and friendly staff in the front all the way to Dr. Tilton herself. Terrible experience i came in here to get a consult and the oblivious women working at the front Wednesday around 1pm to 1:30pm april 14 were just having a normal conversation as if no one came into the door i noticed because a delivery guy came in too waiting for a signature but the lady just looked and kept talking. My experience at Dr. Lisa Tilton's office was great right from the start. Kenna at the front desk was super sweet and welcoming. Jill brought me inside and she is amazing as well! Loved her bubbly and friendly personality. Dr. Tilton then came in to do an examination and teeth cleaning for me. She was so kind and made me feel so comfortable! Not to mention she had a very gentle touch which I appreciated. Also, when I brought up other (expensive) services I thought I needed, Dr. Tilton reassured me that I was perfectly fine and suggested some other beneficial & more conservative options for me instead, which to me shows great honesty (the last office I used to go to would always try and insist additional services on me and would keep pushing). Dr Tilton is nice and friendly. She smiles all the time which is a good thing. Reason I rated her so low was because I came in to have an examination and my teeth cleaned. The having the x-rays taken went OK. Then I was expecting an examination but that didn't happen. Dr. Tilton went straight into having my teeth cleaned. I thought she'd go over my x-rays which she didn't do. After she finished cleaning my teeth, she walked me out to the reception desk and that was the end of my dental visit. Also, I didn't receive what most people get when they get their teeth cleaned, a baggie with a tooth brush and maybe tooth paste and dental floss. While I was waiting for the receptionist, I saw other patients who had a teeth cleaning walk out with a bag with tooth brush and other goodies I never got. So, I just left disappointed that I received an incomplete dental visit experience here. So, for me, I'm done with this office. read more

I have been using Dr. Lisa Tilton for years as my dentist after Dr. Levine brought her on board to his practice and now he has retired. As a child I did not have good experiences with dentists, but today I had two fillings done by Dr. Tilton and it was a very good experience - no pain, lots of care and I felt I was very well taken care of. Dr. Tilton is very friendly and easy to talk to and knowledgeable. Her office staff of Kenna and Jill are great providing reminders and always so friendly and know my name. My family has been going to Dr Tilton for years and they kept telling me that I needed to switch Dentist and go to her. So a few weeks ago I had a filling come loose and decided to go see her.
