A great addition to the South Side. While they're not open on Monday's, Lit never ceases to disappoint with their eclectic bakery items and coffee selection. Prices are fairly similar to any coffee shop but it doesn't seem as though there are options for different size drinks. The atmosphere at Lit is calm and casual. I love that they have a couch section at the front of the shop for chatting. I always enjoy looking through their table of art work for sale. read more

This coffee shop/bakery is a beautiful little gem in the Lehigh Valley. The owners are kind, open hearted, intelligent and creative. They are civic minded and dedicated to making a space that is safe, comfortable and inviting to everyone. Even through this pandemic they have chosen people over profit and took care of their people by creating protective procedures to help keep staff and customers safe and healthy. Espresso!!!! Rich and fantastic! A hint of bitter but very smooth and soft. Only two dollar which is a great price. Much better than the other coffee shop in the area such as saxby. Similar quality comparing ti the joint at the northside, but cheaper. read more

Wonderful new addition to South Bethlehem, which was really lacking a proper coffee house. The space gives off a peaceful and open vibe, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. There is constantly an array of baked goods in the shelf, from freshly made cakes, scones, cookies, and empanadas. Vegan options available which is always a plus. I love how they are trying to integrate themselves into the community and work with other businesses, such as with Bonn Brewery as well as hosting farmers markets on Saturdays. One thing I do think they can improve on is the layout--possibly put in more tables instead of having all the open space. Regardless, whenever I come back to Lehigh I will definitely be making a stop at Lit. read more

I just stopped in here today for the first time. I had a decaf coffee and a vegan scone and both were delicious and perfectly priced. This place has all kinds of seating along with great coffee and a good assortment of teas. There are savory choices such as sandwiches and salads along with fab sweet trays! I love coming to Lit Cafe! The place is a very nice, low key Cafe located in the heart of South side Bethlehem. I have so far tried the macaroons, and the chocolate chip cookies. They were both fantastic and I'll be looking forward to coming back and trying other baked goods. Have only tried the chai tea from their beverage selection, but it was very good. Best independent coffee café I've found in the Lehigh Valley, and that's coming from a coffee pain-in-the-ass. When I say Lehigh Valley, that includes everything east to western New Jersey, north to Lehigh Gap, west to Berks County, south to Quakertown. A lot of real estate and people! Nice employees, on-site roasting, full flavored java, good baked goods, creative-cool atmosphere. To circumvent local parking concerns, try Webster Street near RR tracks, across from Victory firehouse, two blocks from Lit. Free, and I always find something. Lit's seating arrangement and lighting isn't spectacular, but decent enough to keep you happily sipping for an hour or more. read more

I went to Lit a couple of days ago and I really liked the environment BUT the problem is that their coffee is not good. I ordered latte and my friends tried americano but we couldn't finish them. The coffee was that bad. I am a huge fan of coffee and I was following the opening of Lit however now I am disappointed because of this experience. If they find a way to serve coffee or to find a new brand, I would be the first one who will be there everyday. read more
