Then, DURING the procedure the lady kept on adding more money here and there due to bogus reasons such as "oh I didn't know you wanted winged eyeliner, that's an extra $X amount" (even though we spoke of this during the consultation) and "I didn't know you wanted your eyebrows so thick, that will be another extra $X amount", etc. I had to say yes at that stage as I was literally held hostage on the operating bed. In the end, I paid $2,500 for the whole thing; she initially quoted about $1,000 less. I have since met other women who've had the same procedure done at other places and only paid about $800. What's worse, her technique is not up to scratch and the colour starting falling off unevenly after only a few months. I have to fill in the empty spots every morning, which quite frankly, takes even longer than drawing on entire eyebrows. The women who had theirs done at other places had their tattoos last much longer than mine and their fading was even (as it should be). Do NOT go to her unless you want a botched job and a much lighter wallet. I really, really regret going to her and sincerely hope that this greedy and unprofessional woman doesn't rip other people off in the future. You only have one face - don't let her ruin it! If I could give her 0 stars, I would

After 3 sessions totalling more than 6 hours all within a 6 month period (and an argument where I refused to pay an additional $400), I am still not happy with the results. She is painfully slow and made obvious errors that resulted in uneven brows. Her assistant who answers the phone knows nothing about the industry or her services and it took several phone calls and a lot of brutal small talk to book a single appointment. Jameson may have been the best option several years ago but now there are better, cheaper brow artists available across Sydney.

I was a regular loyal customer until my last two visits where their true colours came to surface…read more Unfortunately this place is more interested in making money instead of doing a good job. Had full set mink lashes done and within 24 hours they started falling out. When I reported this, they were nice enough to fit me in for an infill at a discount of $15. I felt like it was rushed and felt like glue/glue fumes seeped into my left eye causing a reaction where my eyes became swollen and has been red for days. The technician also managed to damage the upper layer of skin causing a burn while waxing my eyebrows. And then with 24 hours - the same happened again. Eyelashes fell out and this time I was $250 out of pocket with an eye infection, and damaged skin. I reported it again and got $145 refunded after much negotiation, though damage to my skin and eyes are taking time to heal. They shouldn't rush their craft as this is how mistakes happen.

I feel compelled to reaffirm and expand on my previous glowing review of Lady Lash after having had…read moremy lashes done, with poor results, at three other salons in Sydney. I can't vouch for all the technicians who work at Lady Lash as I've only ever had my lashes done by Grace, but if they are all like her then this is without a doubt the best eyelash extension salon in Sydney. My reasons are as follows: 1. NO GLUE CLUMPS The first place I ever had lash extensions done at was a one-woman show in Darlinghurst. The girl who ran the salon was perfectly friendly and well-intentioned, but the eyelash job she did on me was the worst I have ever seen. I left that place with extensions glued to the skin of my eyelids, two or more fake lashes glued to each one of my real lashes, and so much dried glue clumped around the base of my lashes that it hurt to blink. After two days of stinging, watery eyes, I decided that I had to get my horrible extensions removed and replaced. I looked up 'remove eyelash extensions Sydney' on Google and that was how I found Lady Lash. When I got to the salon, Grace spent 15 minutes carefully removing my demonic Darlinghurst extensions with a special gel remover, and she managed to do this without damaging any of my natural lashes. Then she applied a new full set based on my preferences as to length, thickness, curl etc. When she was done, I couldn't believe how good my lashes looked. There were no glue clumps whatsoever and the extensions looked completely natural. Also, I couldn't feel them at all. They were glued to my natural lashes one-on-one, and there was no extension-to-skin contact at all. 2. LASHES LAST FOR AGES I have been to two other salons that have applied lash extensions without any visible glue, but their lashes did not last longer than a week before falling out. I soon realised that the reason there was no visible glue was because not enough glue was being used. At Lady Lash, they use enough glue to keep the lashes stuck on for ages, but not enough for the glue to actually be visible. The lashes will look good for over three weeks, and presentable for four to five weeks, so long as you take good care of them. 3. LOW PRICES Lady Lash charges $110 for a full set, and the number of lashes they give you (about 55 per eye) is more than adequate. The other three salons I have been to charge $120, $130 and $150 for a full set. I have also heard of places charging up to $180 for a full set. I have yet to find another salon that charges less than $110 for a full set. 4. FRIENDLY STAFF Grace is one of the most pleasant people I have ever come across. She always has a great big smile on her face when she greets you and even though her English is not perfect she always does her best to chat to you and answer any questions you might have. The lady who owns the business, Charlotte, is also extremely helpful and will always try her hardest to accommodate you for appointments, even at short notice. Which brings me to my next point... 5. PROFESSIONAL SERVICE There have been times when I've needed an appointment urgently and they have been all booked out but Charlotte has put me on a waiting list and then called me as soon as a spot has become available. Other examples of their professionalism are: - They text you 24 hours before your appointment to remind you of and confirm your booking. - On your first visit, they get you to fill out a questionnaire regarding what kind of lashes you want. They then keep your details on file so your lash technician can refer to them on your next visit. You can change your preferences at any time. - After your first visit, they give you an eyelash brush and an after-care tip card to help you look after your extensions. - They accept both cash and card. Many eyelash salons accept only cash, which can be a real pain as you always have to make sure you have gone to the ATM and withdrawn some $150 in cash before your appointment. 6. AWESOME DECOR I normally don't care about decor - if the service is good, that is enough for me - but the decor at Lady Lash is so lovely that I have to include it on this list. I actually liked the fit-out at their old place better (they recently moved to much bigger premises two doors down the road) but the current place is decorated really well too. The fact that the salon is aesthetically pleasing adds to the professionalism of the business and says to me that the women who run this place really take pride in their brand and their reputation. This is by far the longest and most comprehensive review I have ever written on Yelp, which just goes to show how much I love this business. If you are thinking about getting eyelash extensions done and you value all of the above attributes in an eyelash service, then Lady Lash is definitely worth a visit. I can't recommend them highly enough!

I then asked whether it would be possible to use the same extensions and have them dyed to my natural colour with some bright blonde bits going through. I also sent pictures for reference. I got told this was possible and I was hugely looking forward to having long hair again with my new more natural tones. Unfortunately there seemed to have been a miscommunication and instead of extensions that matched my colour with the blonde, I was shown extensions of one colour - ash (almost silvery green) extensions which had had toner put on them. I should have followed my instinct that they didn't look right. The hair dresser could obviously see I wasn't sure and did say we didn't have to go ahead, but as he had been so correct the previous time, I thought i should put my trust with him once again. Sadly, this time, it did not turn out the same. My hair, which had also been toned was gold, the extensions were silvery/green with no highlights through them. I paid the 180$ for the toner (I had already paid 180$ on my previous visit for the Cost of the extensions being reapplied). So, I had now paid 360$ for hair I wasn't happy with. I left for a few hours and decided to return and express my disappointment and to see if there was anything we could do to rectify the muddy-puddle hair I now had. Now, don't get me wrong, I understand the frustration from the hairdresser - he gave me an opt out and I still went ahead and got them put in. But at the end of the day, I wasn't happy and was asking for what could Be done, even apologising for the fact that I was complaining. Instead I got told that there was nothing I could do, he felt it was similar enough to the pictures, he has in fact already bumped off 80$ for the toner he had to put on my natural hair (to match these grim coloured extensions) and let me use the same extensions before to save me money. He then proceeded to tell me that if I use straighteners on my hair, this will brighten the toner, but there still wouldn't be any darker bits. I just felt really disappointed, not being listened to (I expressed also it felt more like an ombré than a ballige) and made to feel like I was there to get anything extra I could, when in fact I just wanted to see what could be done to make them more what I actually had asked for. So, although yes, he helped me save money by not having to buy whole new set of extensions, I have had to pay him 180$ for the horrendous toner in the first place, and now have an appointment booked for 115$ elsewhere to fix the mess my hair now is. Sadly, a customer has been lost in me.
