When we pulled up, we were a little skeptical of the curbside pick up, due to Covid-19, but we called & the vet tech came out to pick up Lemmy, our Boston terrier. He had some swelling on his neck that was not going down. She was very friendly & understanding of our concerns. When they were done, she came back out with Lemmy & the vet (don't remember their names). The vet was wonderful & explained everything to us! The vet tech stayed & chatted with us for a few minutes. Was referred last summer to Kimball. They couldn't see my 2.5 lb Yorkie for an eye issue. This yr I was told we have 3 emergency spaces daily. But you must call right at 8. Missed spaces 2 days in a row. 3rd day I was told we close at noon so no appointments. I said I would try again on Friday and was told only one appointment available and I should call around to other clinics. So the message that 'we see new clients " same day emergency is as far from the truth as it gets. When you travel to another state and stay for 5 months and you have a dog or even a cat your vet options are limited and frightening.
