What's more, in our particular case, he was able to fix our problem while he was on the roof doing the estimate -- at no charge! One builder's name continued to be praised by home owners, Randy Faircloth. We signed with him and have never been more pleased. Although we made numerous changes, there were no surprises at closing. He was on the job almost every day regardless of weather or time. He has always been rapid to respond to any call. We were just talking about how much we love our new custom home and its solid quality when we decided to thank him with a review. Out of all our past building experiences with other builders, which were also all excellent, this one experience surpassed all. We got the home we have always dreamed of, and a builder we could trust. This Thanksgiving we are also thankful for the friendship and professionalism from all the subcontractors. He will also try to make you feel guilty for calling him to take care of issues. He might even complain if he were on vacation when you try to reach him. I decided this was his strategy so I would find someone else at my expense to fix things to save him time and money. My recommendation is "get EVERYTHING in writing from this guy" or plan on exercising your checkbook! I saw a similar homeowner experience with Faircloth Construction on Google Reviews. Check it out. Be Careful!! If we all get together, maybe a class action suit will get his attention and neighbors could finally collect the money spent finishing things where he didn't or cut corners. People who smooth talk their way through a sale should be held accountable. He promised a beautifully landscaped, properly graded lot with fertile topsoil, premium seed, and healthy stand of grass. We hired Frank Flores and his company, The Framing Crew Construction Company, LLC, to do a reno of…read moreour house. This was to include front porch and convert 2 car garage to a primary suite and laundry/mudroom. The quality of the work was sub par. The crew seldom used framing squares or a level during the build. This resulted in obvious sub par finishes. Door casings not aligned or level, caulk was heavily relied on in order to cover up gaps and errors. Frank used the framing carpenters for all detail work instead of hiring skilled tradesmen. We decided to purchase on our own specific quality materials because Frank took many short cuts and purchased cheap materials, again ignoring best business practices. Frank frequently was not here for supervision. Often, this resulted in things needing to be redone. He received his final payout and disappeared leaving his business sign and our side entrance without a handrail, which was to be compled the next day for safety. There has been NO FOLLOW-UP, no contact from Frank to inquire about our current satisfaction.
