Lite Foot Company is a gem in the Starland District. The goal of the company is to help everyone live a more sustainable lifestyle. But do not fear, it is a judgment free zone! Do not worry if you have no idea where to start. This is the company to help you begin your journey. You can go in knowing that whatever level of sustainability you want to start with is ok. The only way to know is to begin! The owner Katie is incredibly kind and friendly. She will answer any questions you have about the store and products. There are so many fantastic products: soap, laundry detergent, makeup remover, toner, cleanser, dog shampoo, reusable items, the list goes. Once you get the hang of refilling and weighing it really is simple. You can bring your own containers, buy them there, or grab any of the free containers provided. Also bring your own reusable bags too. I love tea. It is wonderful to be able to get Hale Tea Co. tea by the ounce. Instead of having to buy the containers each time now. I just come and refill at Lite Foot. I also love the dog treats. So does Neville, Katie's dog that is with her in store sometimes. He is a sweetheart! I have tried two types of grain free treats so far for my pup: the duck treats and chewies. I always have to refill on dog treats! The store is located on Bull Street. It is across the street from Back in the Day bakery. You will need to park on the street. I generally find parking on 40th street if I can not park right in front of the store on Bull Street. You will not be disappointed by Lite Foot Company stop by, shop around, and learn about their mission.

I loved my visit to the Paris Market! I had seen all over social media that this was the place to…read morevisit in Savannah, and for once that turned out to be true. The Paris Market is essentially like an antique shop, museum, and classy cafe all came together at once. It has a perfect vibe and aesthetic that is honestly very calming when you've been rushing around the streets of Savannah prior to walking in the door. I highly recommend getting any flavor of latte (hot or iced) as well as their incredible Parisian hot chocolate. Both were delicious and actually worth the $6/$7 price tag! Then, you can stroll around the main level and lower level shop and admire all of the treasures. I can't wait to visit again soon!

We had really high hopes for The Paris Market and left a little disappointed. From the name and…read morebranding, we expected more of a true Parisian café experience with great pastries, little snacks, desserts, and a cozy coffee shop atmosphere. Instead, there were only a few macarons, maybe one sandwich option, and the café itself was...pretty much nonexistent. The retail side also felt a little underwhelming. The space is nice, but a lot of the merchandise was sourced from vendors you commonly see at the larger merchandise markets, so it didn't feel as unique or curated as we expected. That said, we're still glad we stopped in if you're nearby. It just didn't quite live up to the experience we had imagined

This is a new business adjacent to the Webb Military Museum…read more The proprietor was on site, friendly, and was available to assist. Good service. There is a juxtaposition of old and new here, but sometimes it is hard to tell what is old and what is new. For antique items, gentle restoration is given. The charm is certainly low-country: a hodge-podge of items--tea cups, plates, furniture, rugs, etc. This is a good place to find decoration for homes if you like southern charm. Check it out.

The location of the store is in a historic brick building that feels open and airy with a lot of light as you peruse around the shop. I actually discovered GCD on Instagram as I was browsing stores in the area for some furniture for my apartment. I really liked the photos they posted, so decided to pop in over the weekend. The gentleman who was working the shop was extremely friendly and flagged some of the limited time sales they had taking place. I really liked the mix of old and modern throughout the store. The way it is designed and arranged gives you a good illustration of how some of the furniture and decor could be arranged in your own home. I was particularly interested in the vintage glassware they had -- it all seemed really unique and like conversation pieces. If you happen to be near Columbia Square, definitely check out GCD and say hello.
