I used the Atlanta Shuttle for the first time last week and I'm not likely to use them again…read more First off, the reservation process. After making my online reservation I had to wait a day to receive a confirmation email. I suspect that the "reservation" form merely sends an email to the business to which they respond. But then I had to call them to provide them with a form of payment. Obviously their reservation process could be streamlined. The pickup from their airport was relatively painless -- the driver was waiting right outside of the baggage claim. Although if you are going to make a point of telling me both in the email and the phone call to make sure that I get in a BLUE van, don't send a WHITE one. My real problems started on the return trip. First, I received a text from them on Wednesday afternoon reminding me of my pickup at 7:15 on Thursday morning. My return trip was actually on Friday morning. I corrected them and confirmed the pickup at my hotel on Friday at 7:15 AM. At around 6:40 AM on Friday I received a call from them informing me that their driver had called in sick and they wouldn't be able to honor the 7:15 pickup time. The earliest that they could get me was around 8:30. With a 9:00 AM flight that just wasn't going to work. So I cancelled the return and had the hotel call me a cab. Since I had booked (and paid for a round trip) they agreed to refund the round trip and charge me for a one way. Here it is Tuesday afternoon and I see two charges on my credit card statement. One for the original round trip and one for a one way trip. They process refunds on Tuesday's so the round trip refund should (?) show up in the next couple of days. Getting a receipt from them also isn't easy. It took multiple emails and a phone call to get them to send me a receipt but of course it was the receipt from the original round trip and not the one way trip that I ended up taking. Difficulty in making the reservation; inability to rely on their service; seemingly more interested in processing charges than refunds. I will not be using this service again.

I am not from Atlanta so I rely on the professionals to give me a reasonable pick up time to get to…read morethe airport in time for my departure. The office gave me 4:45 pick up from Sandy Springs to make a 6:55 flight. The driver was late. The first time I called the dispatcher told me he was "lost". When he did arrive the driver told me it was "very bad traffic". By the time I arrived at the airport I had missed the plane It was the last flight out and either I stay at a hotel or go to San Francisco. I chose SFO. This meant an additional cost for the new ticket and the inconvenience of getting a ride home to my original destination. WHen I called Atlanta Shuttle the dispatcher was sullen and put me through to the manager. They are not going to give me a refund. Ir is not their fault, they are a small company and "everyone knows Atlanta and I should have known the pick up time was not going to work".(they gave me the pick up time. I had no input with timing) It was "my fault" I missed the plane, "they are only responsible for getting me there". He was yelling at me so I hung up and decided to write this. I don't think it is unreasonable for a company based in Atlanta to know what kind of traffic to expect and not to blame the customer. I really hate to write bad reviews and if they are a small start up company they should pay better attention to what it takes to run a successful airport shuttle. By the way, the driver was very nice and my complaint is only with the company.
