He brought a step stool for them to use for easier access. I travel to Atlanta every year for Dragon Con every year and have been relying on shuttle services since 2005. I needed to find a reliable shuttle service from the airport to the downtown Hilton after a horrible experience with another shuttle last year (2016). I found Airport Star Shuttle when I did a search, and after reading the Yelp reviews, I decided to give them a try. Boy, was I glad I did! Once I initiated the communication through Yelp, Javed immediately e-mailed me and walked me through the reservation process. We then switched to texts, and he kept me updated by sending me text reminders of my itinerary. My flight arrived earlier than expected in Atlanta, so I texted Javed to let him know. He was at the shuttle pick-up area within five minutes of my text. Javed was courteous and offered my friend and me a water or a soda. The van was clean, and Javed got us safely to our hotel in record time! We paid for a round-trip ticket for our return on Monday, Labor Day. The reservation was for 10:30 a.m., and at EXACTLY 10:30, our van drove up to the Hilton. Mr. Washington was our driver, and he was as equally courteous as Javed. Mr. Washington provided a step stool into and out of the van. My friend and I expect to travel to Dragon Con again next year. You can rest assured that we'll be using Airport Star Shuttle for that trip. read more

I flew into Atlanta airport for a Family Reunion. At the time of my trip, I was handicapped due to a foot surgery 2 months prior. I was travelling alone and I wouldn't recommend traveling by yourself when you are handicap. It's very hard! I arrived to JD's shuttle via wheelchair services. He had to help me into his van. True Gentleman! We got to discussing the pick up for my return trip. He had scheduled one of his employees to pick me up two days later to return me to the airport. Due to my handicap and needing wheelchair access, instead of dropping me off where the shuttles usually do, we planned for curbside drop off for curbside check in. Usually they do not do that, but he was willing to make an exception and help me. On Sunday, when I was to be picked, I was pleasantly surprised. JD came to pick me up himself instead of sending one of his employees. He told me he wanted to make sure I was taken care of. I truly appreciated him caring for my wellbeing. Prior to being picked up, I had found out that United Airlines does not have curbside check in. I had contacted the airport and after speaking to multiple people was told to get dropped off at the Southwest Airlines Curbside check in and ask them to take me to United, which was literally the next door over. I explained all of this to JD. When we pulled up to the airport, JD made sure we were as close to the curbside and door as possible. He spoke to the Southwest Airlines Wheelchair Services attendants and explained the situation. Unfortunately, they refused to help me. I explained to them what I was told, but they still would not help me. I had no idea what to do! I was by myself with my luggage, unable to carry anything without assistance. I was very upset at this point. There was a police officer right behind JD's Shuttle. He went up to him, explained the situation again, that I was alone and Southwest was refusing to help me get inside, would the officer not ticket him while he went inside and got a wheelchair attendant from United. The officer kindly said yes. JD took my luggage and went inside to find me some help. He didn't have to do any of this. He could have left me at the curb and said your on your own, sorry I can't help. His graciousness and willing to help absolutely overwhelmed me. I was so very thankful for him. If and when we travel to Atlanta again, I will always use his service. I strongly recommend anyone that wants great customer service to use Airport Star Shuttle. Thank you JD for your assistance, I can never repay all that you did for me. I hardly ever write reviews, good or bad.
