The individual I worked with, Terri, was initially responsive and accommodating and made me feel at ease about booking this business. I put down a deposit in early November. Later in November I reached out for some more information to aid in the planning of my wedding reception. However, I never heard back. I was not unduly concerned because this is a barbeque business and I thought this might be their "off-season". I assumed they would get back to me when they were able. I did not hear back from Two Bothers Barbeque, even when springtime rolled around, so I called them a couple of times. I did not hear back. At this point, I got concerned because our wedding was in only three months. I was eager to speak to them to have some questions answered. My fiancé suggested we drive to the business, so we could connect with them. When we drove to the business, we were rather dismayed to see many signs stating "Business for Sale." There was a phone number on one of the "For Sale" signs, so I called it and said that I had seen their "For Sale" signs and was interested in talking about this. At this time, I did not tell them my name or state that I was a client. I got a return call pretty immediately. When I received the call-back, I explained that I had emailed and called the business without hearing back, and that I was concerned that the business was for sale, as we were counting on them catering our wedding. The gentleman on the phone (the owner, I believe) said they were retiring and were winding down the business, but that they planned to honor all scheduled events. He said he would have Terri call me. I was extremely relieved - but only for a short while. Terri called after several minutes. I explained the situation to her. I told her that I was concerned because I hadn't received a response to my email or phone calls and then saw that the business was for sale. She said that the catering part of the business was for sale, as well as their food trucks, but they would still honor their contracts for the summer. However, she then said she would just refund my money if I was uncomfortable. I was taken aback - I had said nothing about cancelling the contract and was really just nervous about the prospect of the business being sold. I received no kind of apology for the lack of communication. Terri said that she hadn't responded to my email in November because I sent it too close to Thanksgiving and that she never received my phone calls. At some point during this conversation, Terri became quite hostile, raising her voice and becoming accusatory. She blamed me for the lack of contact and did not take responsibility for failing to respond. The situation became truly unsettling; in fact, may I say, deeply shocking. Terri did say that she had some medical concerns, which I do sympathize with. However, I have had a number of medical issues, some of them quite serious, and I have never treated a client this way. Ultimately, I stated that she could cancel the booking and send the refund, which was what she appeared to want to do in the first place. It really seemed like she did not care too much about the business or leaving us in a precarious position of having no caterer for our wedding. I left the phone call truly bewildered and told my fiancé I was sorry and that I had lost the caterer for our wedding. He said, "You shouldn't be sorry. You did absolutely nothing wrong." (He had been listening to this conversation.) We went home and brainstormed new possibilities, and, luckily, found another local business that was more than willing to cater for us. They have been a dream to work with. I know this review probably does not matter because Two Brothers is retiring from catering, but it is important that people be careful when dealing with this company. If you have a current date booked with them, please considering making a back-up plan. I'm not sure this business cares to uphold its promises, nor does it take responsibility for its own actions. Please be prepared for the worst-case scenario.

There is always a vegan, vegetarian, and pepperoni option, plus two specialty pizzas rotate weekly. Some of our favorites were the gyro pizza, margherita with smoked mozzarella, pulled bbq jackfruit with red onions and smoked mozzarella, meatloaf pizza, and more. The pizza is stacked high with toppings. The slices range from $5-$6 dollars and are heated up and delivered to your table quickly. My boyfriend, family, and I have become regulars at Maggie's, and look forward to this pizza every week. I probably wouldn't have gone to Thunderbird specifically for BBQ since I am pescatarian, but now that I found this great pizza I want to try more from Black Sheep BBQ (specifically the fried smoked mozzarella balls). We booked her one year in advance, and we used her for A New Year's Eve party, and for our wedding shower. These two events required only the food to be present, no service. At the original taste testing, the food was phenomenal as was at each event. Very flavorful and delicious, nothing was dry as it was quality food. The same can even be said about the food at our wedding for those that got it... We discussed our concerns with Amanda on several occasions that we had met. We did two separate taste testings to try a variety of foods, we drove there to pick up food several times, and we went there for tasting our signature drink. On top of that we had no less than 10 phone conversations and several emails discussing details of our wedding and the quality of service we expected. This is why the review has a poor rating. We get married one time in our lives, and the people from our wedding will remember how horrible the service was. We paid extra money for a "bartending service" who told our guests they were supposed to be there serving food. We asked Amanda if she had handled a wedding of this size before (300+ people) She assured us that they do 500 person events all the time. After my mother-in-law had to ask for salad at her table 6 times, and then ask for dressing another four times, we began to panic and realize Amanda over-promised and under delivered severely. In addition to this, the tables were supposed to be bussed and cleared, the plates were to be washed, none of this was done. The head table never got their glasses of water which remained upside down until we cleaned up the next day. We had less than 300 guests RSVP. We paid Philomena's for 310 guests worth of food. We had a total of 278 people attend our wedding, and she still ran out of food even though she insisted on several occasions that there would be more than enough food. She also said there will be several items left over and she would put out to go containers. Speaking of this, she said they would have plenty of time to kill while they were there and to give her things to do while she was there. She was entirely unprepared. When the bridal party walked in and they were still serving salad, we knew this was a disaster. When we spoke with Amanda the following day about the issues that we had, she tried to blame The fact they were unprepared because of the cookies in her area. She promised us that she would be putting out the cookies at the cookie table and never did! My family had to put them all out! We also gave her extra space at the venue as she was worried she wouldn't have enough. In addition to this disaster, I had to dismiss tables on my own wedding night, because Amanda did not bring enough help as clearly her bartenders we're supposed to be serving food, so then we were forced to shut down the bar so the guests could be served. There are several other details minor or large that I may be missing, but I am so upset and frustrated with how this turned out that people now remember our wedding as the wedding that was amazing except for the catering. If you want to use this company be sure to use them for only their food because that is all they are good for. Their services are sub par at best.
