People were very nice! Food was very dry the chicken was almost inedible. In addition to that the price did not match the small amount of food given.

Found Hibachi Lou at the Bethel Park Farmers Market, and I'm so glad! The food is well prepared and warm. I ordered the chicken and shrimp combo with fried rice. My order also came with a container of yummy sauce. The chef inside the truck kept the grill hot and quickly had our meals ready. Both proteins were flavorful and moist. The grilled vegetables consisted of mushrooms, onions, zucchini, and carrots. My portion was enough to have as two small meals. I enjoy trying new food trucks, and Hibachi Lou hit the mark!

I got the steak hibachi. Came with fried rice, vegetables, steak, and Yum Yum sauce. Fried rice was a little bit hard and lacked flavor. The vegetables were also a little bland and slightly cold. The steak was cooked medium and had good texture and flavor. The total was $14, this was from their food truck. Not super impressed by it. For convenience it was good, I'm sure it would taste much better in person. Faood: 5.1 Staff/service: na Overall: 5.1/10

Awesome food truck! I never thought hibachi from a truck could taste so delicious and fresh! They have a surprising variety of options on their menu for different proteins and noodles or fried rice. I ordered the Spicy Diablo and loved it!! It came fresh off the grill and they even gave us free extra yum yum to put on top. The dish was packed full of tender chicken, zucchini, onions, noodles and carrots. Despite the spicy-sounding name, the dish wasn't too spicy, but a good amount of heat and seasoning that balanced with the yum yum. I was suprised how much they gave me, filling a whole container piled up. I had leftovers to bring home because it was so filling. Which made up for the $15+ price tag on the meal. The staff was also great to make sure there were no allergy concerns or cross contamination with my meal, which was very much appreciated. If I see them around at an event again, I'll definitely be getting food.

You can't go wrong with this food truck. If I'm at an event and see this truck it's always my go to. The food is delicious and the employees are always super nice and helpful. If you have a question about their menu don't hesitate to ask. These guys give you service with a smile so to speak. In my opinion the potions are huge and inexpensive. $13 for a meal that I can literally eat three times, can't beat it! I should mention that they take cash or cards here. I always order the chicken teriyaki with fried rice and extra yum yum sauce. You can buy 4 extra yum yum's for literally $1. I mean how could one pass that up? If you lay eyes on this food truck don't walk, run there!

Always enjoyable. Staff consistently friendly. The steak is awesome. Rice is a bit luck of draw in terms of crunch...I feel like I'm a rush maybe it varies. Today was a bit less crunchy as other. Can't go wrong with any of the proteins!

I stopped by here a new of Thursdays ago with my wife for dinner. Our neighborhood has food trucks that come every other week and this week happened to be Hibachi Lous. Since it's a food truck there's not much to say about it other than it was red with some yellow and staffed by a number of guys. The menu here is rather simple and consists of teriyaki chicken, hibachi shrimp and filet mignon and then have combos where you can pick 2 or try all 3. Everything that you order comes with fried rice and mixed vegetables. Due to this simple but effective menu the truck was flying through orders quicker than any other food truck I had seen in our neighborhood. For dinner on this evening I decided to go with a pick 2 combo and chose the chicken and shrimp and my wife did the same thing. Only a few minutes after ordering we had our food and were headed home. Whenever I opened my meal the portion size for the price was a little underwhelming but I still dug in. The chicken and shrimp were both decent and my favorite part of the meal ended up being the mixed veggies which tasted good and made you feel like you were eating somewhat healthy. Finally the fried rice was ok and I enjoyed adding the accompanying sauce to it to add a little extra flavor. The bottom line for me is that I probably wouldn't head back here again in the future. While nothing was wrong with the food itself I was just underwhelmed with everything and would prefer to go elsewhere.

We had Hibachi Lou's food truck for a private event and everything was perfect! They were able to accommodate gluten free and vegetarian. The service was quick and the food was noticeably fresh. Dean & Tony were a great pair running the truck! Highly recommend

We visited Hibachi Lou at Bloom Brew. We were on our way home to visit family when we followed the food truck down the hill in West Newton, looked up the menu, and decided to get food from there later on that night. We ended up ordering six meals. Everything was prepped fast, and everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. Their prices are very reasonable in comparison to ordering similar meals at a sit down Japanese steakhouse, but the quality and portions were spot on. Both people working there were nice despite the really cold weather outside.

Very kind and fast service. Our cross country team agrees that it has some of the best chicken and steak ever.

Microwaved frozen vegetables, spaghetti noodles, and meat sans any spices. Very bland, would rather eat baby food.

Robin at Big Catering helped me select menu items, understand quantities and prices, and confirm all details. The guests enjoyed the sight and aroma of the beautiful buffet. The delicious selections encouraged people to sit and chat, and then wander back to the buffet for another helping. We received many compliments about the wonderful food. Everything was packaged sturdily. Our family was able to take very tasty leftovers home and enjoy them. I highly recommend Big Burrito for catering, and Alta Via for menu selections.

We didn't, but somehow got lucky snagging seats at the bar... which honestly turned out to be a perfect spot to eat too! The beet salad was SO good I could've easily ordered a second without hesitation. I had a self-proclaimed Reuben connoisseur with me, and he declared it the best Reuben he's ever had (second only to his own, of course ). It's not your typical version either--no standard Thousand Island overload. The corned beef was perfectly peppered and packed with flavor, and even the bread stood out. Fish tacos? Absolutely a yes. Fresh, flavorful, and just done right. We split sides--tater tots for one dish and the homemade chips for the other. Always go for the homemade chips here. WOW! They had this subtle sweetness that made them seriously addictive. Friendly service, great atmosphere, and food that lives up to the hype. Totally worth it! What an improvement over the tiny little order-at-the-counter spot with the free wine and rickety folding chairs! The food was good before, and it's still good, but the place is now a full service, upstairs-downstairs cozy spot. We had fried pickles, a sunshine salad (as a side salad), and a couple of hot dogs--the bacon dog and the Picklesburgh dog. Pickles were a tiny bit greasy but crunchy and substantial. The side salad was absolutely delicious with lots of textures and crunch, both acidic and a little sweet all at the same time. I would order it as a dinner salad for sure. I didn't try the bacon dog, but my husband liked it. The Picklesburgh dog was a delicious mess--truly, it was so messy--but it was crunchy and salty and briny, and totally worth ordering next time I'm in the mood for a dog. I shouldn't have waited so long to go back to Brick and Mortar; I'm glad we finally checked it out.
