I have had children cry and tell me how hot and thirsty they are after coming in from playing outside but the owner will not turn the AC on even if it is 90 degrees out unless SHE feels the need to. There is no water provided for the children and what you put in your childs lunch box to drink is what they get all day! There were times I was left alone with 10 children ages from 2-3 and most child cares don't allow no more then 6 toddlers per one teacher. There was even a time I had 23 kids by my self in one small room ages 2-10 years old while the supervisor took over 20 minutes to enroll a child. And make your sure your right on time with the payment or she will nag you until she gets it...god for bid if a parent is a few days late paying their childs enrolment fee. Also forget about asking any favors I had one parent ask me to call her when her daughters father picked her up and when I told the owner she through a fit saying how that's not my job and what is wrong with these parents! Of course I did it anyway and I got yelled at for it. Again please do NOT send your child here!! There are much better daycares right up the road! Not to mentioned I quite a week ago and I still have not received my last check..

It wasn't until we arrived and toured the daycare did she change her mind and say there isn't any availability. Ms. Sandy gave us the run around for 2 weeks saying she was checking to see if our children "shots" were updated enough to attend. This however was not the determining factor on whether or not she wanted our children there. I've missed out on work waiting for her approval just for her to say almost 3 weeks later there was no longer any space. I would not recommend this facility!

It's truly a learning center and the children are stimulated every day with a thoughtful and well planned set of play and activities. The teachers are also owners and it really shows in the pride, quality and caring. Poconoski has some Polish-American culture as part of the curriculum, but we're not a Polish family and it's an added bonus that our little one is exposed a bit to another culture. Plenty of American culture and just plain old fun and learning celebrated at Poconoski. The facility is beautiful, the prices fair and the quality very high. This is the best day care / nursery school we've found in the Poconos and we did extensive due diligence.
