This review has been a long time coming! Charlene is simply A-MAZ-ING!! We have used her several times from newborn shoot of my 1st child to 3rd child - including maternity shoots. We have 3 kids under the age of 4 and although it can be a handful to work with, Charlene brings out the best in everyone and we have such amazing pictures of our family. Sibling pics are just adorable! She has such patience and is a perfectionist. I cannot recommend her enough! It's really hard for me to write this review because I had really high expectations for my first child's first photoshoot. Charlene is a great photographer. I picked her for my newborn's photo shoot because the work displayed on her website was absolutely stunning and exactly what I want. She really does a good job at capturing the special moments. I looked at many other photographers and thought she was the best for what I wanted even if her fees were on the higher end of what I wanted to spend. However, the whole process of booking her, scheduling the shoot, and obtaining the digital files/prints did not go as smoothly as I hoped. When I first contacted Charlene in January to book a shoot for my baby due in June. It took a while for us to figure out the logistics of what I was requesting. After that was figured out, I sent her the deposit and the signed contract in February. My baby was born on June 2nd and she did not sign her end of the contract until June 6th. In between February and June, she contacted me a couple times. One time to try to set up a time for her to come to our house to for a light assessment. She was the one that reached out for that but when I replied back to her my availability, she never responded. Then she sent a questionnaire in May about what kind of photos I was looking for but I am unsure if she even read that questionnaire because when I finally talked to her after my baby was born, I had to resend her all the links and pictures I included in the questionnaire. We decided to go to her studio with our 12 day old baby to do the photoshoot because she never came by to assess the light and we didn't want bad pictures. She was late because she mixed up the times. However, during the shoot, she was very patient with our baby. I commend her for her patience with young kids because she did have to wait for us to feed our baby and for her to fall asleep again before continuing with the shoot. I thank her for that. Because she was late, she offered a canvas and I asked her how long it'll take for her to complete our pictures. She gave us a verbal timeframe of a week. When i followed up with her after a week, she needed another 3 weeks. The photoshoot was on June 12th and we received our proofs on July 12th. As for the free canvas she offered to us, I requested it on July 12 and received it on Aug 28. She's not very responsive to email. Don't get me wrong, the pictures were great but the overall experience was just ok. Luckily we didn't need the pictures for our baby announcement. If so, we'd be announcing our newborn when she's 3 months. read more

Charlene took photos for my newborn daughter and was great to work with! My daughter was awake the whole time and we had a hard time getting any shots with her eyes closed. But Charlene was very patient and didn't rush things. Being a mom herself, she knew all the little tricks to soothing a newborn and was extremely professional yet made me also very comfortable while she maneuvered the baby in some very creative and different poses. After reviewing several photography websites, my husband and I decided to book Little Blessing Photography for a package capturing maternity, newborn, 6 month, and 12 month photos. We recently took our maternity photos, and Charlene went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and capture timeless photos that we will treasure for years to come and show our daughter! She let us text pictures of outfits ahead of time and gave input, played a playlist to get us in the mood and thinking of our upcoming bundle of joy, suggested poses to have desirable pictures and brought a portfolio to help, suggested props and brought a few of her own to help, and walked us around and captured us in natural light. The pictures turned out better than we could have ever imagined! On top of that, she was so easy to be around, helpful, complimentary, and hilarious! It was such a pleasure to work with a photographer that could easily feel like a friend after a few moments. We highly recommend her for maternity photos. I decided to select a full year package with Charlene after our new born photo shoot. I waited 3 weeks before doing them and your new born is not as easy then. Charlene was so patient and we received beautiful pictures. As our daughter has grown we have continued to receive fabulous pictures. In each stage she captures what major milestones you want to see in your photos. I love how the focus is always my daughter and the background/outfits she suggest are complimentary to the idea. We have the last to our full year package coming up in a couple months and I can't wait to capture her 12mo photos with Charlene. She is also timely when it comes to delivering the photos and making any adjustments you may need. Quality is what you receive when working with Charlene. Highly recommended. read more

Charlene did an outdoor holiday photo shoot for me and my family. I was so impressed with her ability to overcome obstacles (people walking around, extreme cold, my daughter's inability to smile). She was able to put my 11 month old at ease which is very hard to do. When I saw the end result I was amazed. It was everything I had hoped for and more. Charlene was suppose to get newborn photos of my now 5 month old however with illnesses and other circumstances in our family, she was unable to take photos until my son was 4 months old. I think I had to reschedule on 3 or 4 occasions. Charlene was very understanding and accommodating. Not only are her pictures beautiful, she is patient and creative with the "mood" of the child. My older son was not very cooperative and she was good with distracting him while taking shots of my younger child. Thank you for such beautiful photos. I found Charlene on PAMP and brought my daughter for newborn photos when she was 14 days old. Charlene impressed me in so many ways. She set up her home studio with backdrops and had tons of props. I told her the colors I liked and she was completely receptive and just went with the flow (baby pooped on her wrapping, had to stop and feed etc). She whispered lovingly to the baby and had such a gentle touch. I brought my older son along and she fit him into a couple shots too. We loved the results so much and have decided to do her milestone package which includes 4 photo shoots throughout the first year. The second shoot at 4 months which was done mostly outdoors was simply amazing. I am so looking forward to the next two sessions. Charlene offered to help choose photos for an arrangement to display in my home after it's all said and done and I can't wait to see the beautiful photos on my walls. She is very comfortable with newborns and does all the right things in the comfort of your own home. From coming the day before to assess the space in your home, always washing her hands, keeping her hands warm and sending you lots of online tips for coordinating a good photo shoot. She brings great props and is happy to let you incorporate any of your own. And the finished product is beautiful- just stunning! Charlene is a wonderful photographer! She took beautiful pictures of my newborn daughter with a lot of patience and professionalism. She had beautiful props and used them very creatively. I had some ideas of things that I was looking for in our newborn shots and Charlene was very receptive and accommodating.
