Some people just have it. Bradley is an extremely gifted photographer that I have worked with for the better part of a decade. I absolutely would not dream of hiring anyone else to shoot for my personal or professional photography needs. As an Art Director, I have been on many photoshoots. Some shoots have huge budgets, top tier talent, and big brand names, while others are more modest. It is extremely easy to tell when someone chooses to skimp on the photographer (images out of focus, unflattering angles, inconvenient lens flare, overprocessed editing, etc.) I can confidently say that Bradley's talent surpasses certain celebrity photographers who charge upwards of $50k per day to shoot. I'm not even exaggerating, you seriously need to book him before some celebrity discovers Bradley and the rest of us "regular joe's" won't be able to afford him (for real though). A few years ago, I had my first child and decided it was time to hire a professional photographer to document our family through the years. Even with all of my experience on photoshoots, I loathe being photographed. I'd like to think I'm generally a pretty normal-looking human being, but I always look super awkward on camera. I am ALWAYS the one who blinks/moves/forgot to pose, etc. Anytime someone tags me in a Facebook photo, I am genuinely scared to see what I look like. If I'm lucky, I like 1 out of every 50 photos I take. Bradley has uncanny talent not just for Photography, but for Art Direction. On our first shoot, he had me go look for photos that I wanted to imitate, and then helped me do it. He will tell you exactly how to stand, where to look, how you should smile, what the F to do with your hands, where to stand, everything! I used to dread seeing photos of myself until I met Bradley. Now every time I hire him, I can't wait to get the photos and broadcast his images to the world (sorry about all the photos on your newsfeed guys, but I can't help myself because DAMN we look good.) Additionally, he is able to get beautiful photos of my dog and toddler (in focus, with perfect lighting, and beautiful composition - I swear he sold his soul to the devil for these skills because I can't even get ONE decent photo of my little girl even in burst mode). He also does an amazing job with editing (especially considering that he gives you more photos from every session than you could possibly ever need.) I am incredibly picky with photo editing since that's what I do for a living, and I pretty much never need to photoshop the images (I've been known to be ridiculous and photoshop the veins out of my eyeballs sometimes but that's a whole other issue...) To be honest though, since his foundational skills are so strong, there really doesn't need to be much editing. I could also go on about how he is one of the funniest human beings on this planet. He gets me to laugh so hard that I snort and cry. Maybe that's his reaL secret to getting his clients to look so joyful (you evil genius- I see exactly how you do it now!) Bradley is the best photographer, hands down. He works efficiently and diligently, whether it's booking the date for the shoot, or editing the photos to have it done prior to any deadline. In top of this, his people skills and honesty make him a breeze to work with. His intrinsic knowledge of outdoor lighting, lens selection, and speed of getting "the shot" is remarkable. Looking at the set of photos brings me pure joy, because he was able to capture the blissful joy that my daughter shows in a way that left my wife and I speechless. I emailed Bradley an inquiry regarding some photos I had seen on his Instagram, wanting to buy prints. He responded quickly, and directed me to full galleries of stunning images to look at. Having been a lifelong fan of Ansel Adams, I was absolutely floored to find his collection of black and white shots from Balboa Park. Not only did they spark a vision of completing a room recently renovated in grey scale, but one of the prints even mirrored the accent colors I had brought into the room. When I got engaged and needed to find a wedding photographer, Bradley was my first choice. Working with photography daily, I was very vocal of my expectations. Bradley was understanding and confident he could provide top notch service. Prior to my wedding day, we reviewed the shot list, he provided input on what he recommended for poses. He also set clear expectations on his shot time line and delivery of the photos. Sure enough, without fail - he showed up on time, happy and excited to not only see his friend get married but also a see a client of his say I do. He also brought with him a second shooter. (I will say, I would have used another second shooter as you could tell who shot what and edits were different. When I provided that feedback to Bradley he was grateful for the open dialogue and thanked me.) Within a week, I was provided sneak peaks which got me really excited to see the rest. Sure enough, within a 3-5 weeks, I received a drop box with over 400 edited photos for me to use that my discretion. One thing I am very thankful for was he gave me full production rights on printing my own images the sizes and the way I wanted vs trapping me into a package that wasn't going to include what I wanted and the vision I had for my photos. Needless to say, I had a great experience with Bradley and would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a passionate and talented photographer. He is also not pigeon holed into just weddings, he is overall an extremely talented life style and product photographer. I have worked with friends before and it has gone both ways - but even 2 years later, I look at the photos he took and I smile. To me, photos tell a tale, they capture a moment forever in stillness. There are few times in life where I've believed that things have happened for a reason. Bradley photographed our wedding and my husband and I knew from the start that it was "meant to be". Long story short, my (now) husband and I were in San Diego (we live in Long Beach) for the Sing Dance Crawl 2015. My 4 year old and I went to the cactus gardens in balboa park to do some pictures thinking I could get just a few shots and by surprise every picture came out more then I could ever ask for!
