I have been in this shop a couple of times. The owners (husband and wife) are friendly and knowledgeable. They actually own the local mine where much of the turquoise in the shop comes from. Jason (one of the owners) actually makes the jewelry from the turquoise that comes from his mine. The jewelry is beautiful. I was impressed he made it himself. It's certainly professional. This shop has all sorts of jewelry, rocks and minerals, geodes, antiques, etc. You can buy very nice jewelry made of local turquoise at a great price. I've bought jewelry here before and I've been extremely pleased with it. My husband bought a very cool mirror from an old slot machine, too. If you're staying in Austin or just passing through, you definitely need to stop in and take a look. read more
