I'm not a fan of "Mexican food" places mostly because they tend to be generic. Not here. There's a lot of creativity in their dishes and they take advantage of the availability of local seafood, which makes for some delicious dishes. Even their apps. My daughter (almost 20) can't get enough of their queso dip. The lobster bisque was also spot on. Honestly, it might be the best bisque I've ever had. They add corn and spices to it and it's soooooo good! My standout dish was the lobster enchilada. Wow! Service was also very good, despite being very busy. And it's a beautiful restaurant. So, the dessert. I'm a huge flan snob. And any time I go to a Latin restaurant, I usually try their flans. After the amazing dinner we had, I assumed their flan would blow me away. However, it was hands down the worst I've ever had. It was dense and dry, almost like a cheesecake, but without the flavor. There's no way it was made fresh, that's for sure. It was honestly disgusting and I couldn't take more than a couple of bites. If I hadn't taken it to go (we were so full after dinner), I would have said something. This was the 6th lobster roll we tried during our summer. This is more like a stand that you would find at a festival. I knocked a star off for the setting. I've come across a lot of these food stands all over the US, and they try the make the best of their low budget location and try to make a cute outdoor seating experience. They have one picnic bench, and the some more seating at this random building right by with rusty chairs. Some folks like us traveled an hour from another place on the cape to try this roll, us Chatham. We aren't taking it home, and had to eat it there. Wasn't any effort made to have outdoor seating. No table settings, lights, streamers nothing. Just one park bench. The roll itself is good, not the best but good and creative. It isn't spicy at all, more like a ketchup mayo on top. The celery dressing, gave it a nice crunch. The lobster is pre-measured in saran wrap. I get that for controlling your cost, it's just a cheap look to watch. Just have a scale and measure there. We got the roll pretty quickly as there wasn't much of a line on a Saturday in July at 11:30. I appreciated the creativity. I think this place could be 5 star with some tweaks on the roll and the setting. I think they could even add some more unique rolls. I want to give it a 3, but I just can't with it being a small business. I think they are on to something that people want a unique approach to a lobster roll. Worth a try, but I wouldn't stress it at its current state.

I live very near but have to get my fix in Falmouth because Hyannis failed too many times. Fresh ingredients, staff is present, friendly & efficient. Adore this place!

I wish there were some labeled vegan options on the menu but I do very much appreciate that they can accommodate vegans at all, which is an unfortunate rarity on the Cape.
