We are from Florida visiting with some friends and were in the mood for some Mexican food, our friends suggested that we all try something new and came across Little B's in Mountain Home Arkansas. We were greeted promptly and seated fast. We ordered a couple different appetizers and the Queso Blanco was amazing. I ordered the Steak and Chicken Fajitas and they were the best Fajitas I ever had. My friends had the Shrimp Chimichanga and really enjoyed the fresh flavors it offered. For dessert we all ordered the Carrot Cake that they make fresh daily. The waitress was amazing and the owner even came by every table and visited with all the guests. We will definitely be coming back to eat here when we are back in town. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. The dip trio was great. I recommend the salsa especial. The steak quesadillas were also very good. The service was very good. We had cheese dip and chips, wine and a margarita, and 2 entrees. Everything was really good. I had jalapeño cornbread and seasoned pinto beans and the serving was huge! We ate there on Saturday night for the first time and were not impressed. The service was really good - no problems with that. But, the steak street tacos were not good. They were cooked medium rare (not my preference) and had zero seasoning on them. No flavor - just cooked meat, onion, and cilantro - and what was supposed to be the soft tortillas for them was dried out and tough around the edges. And, the tiny container of salsa with them was nothing but tomatoes - no spice or flavor. The cilantro lime rice was dry and flavorless. And, they do not serve chips and salsa as a complimentary appetizer as all other Mexican restaurants in the area do. With tax and tip, the meal was almost $40. and we were still a bit hungry when we left. read more

We came back with family from out of town last week and I'm not sure what's changed since last time we came but it was not as good. One of my family members ordered a chicken fried steak and he said it tasted like it had been frozen and microwaved. The Burger my husband ordered this time he said was good but really small for the price and a little burnt. The rest of the food we all got was good but nothing spectacular. Waitress was nice and did a good job and it's still a cute place with a homey feel but I take back what I said before about reasonable prices, I actually think they're pretty pricey for mediocre food. The biggest piece of meat ever. I ate till stuffed and probably still have two days worth left over. Borracho beans, I had no idea what these were but they are amazing and freshly made. Don't pass them by because you don't know what they are! Trust me. The rice is like no rice I have had before... lite, fluffy and just a hint of seasoning, yummy! My brother in law had the Pollo Camerones and the bite he would share was creamy and amazing. Mom got the shrimp chimichanga and she said it was the best thing she had eaten in a long time! Again I was given a small bite and it was fantastic! The cheese sauce they make to put is to die for. Sis got the camarones diablo and I had to wrestle her for a bite, she was digging in and wasn't coming up for air! Really I have no idea why anyone would eat anywhere else in this town. Had lunch at Little B's Grill on a recent cold winter day. The interior of the restaurant is bright and inviting. The decor is restrained allowing the food to take center stage and it sure did! The tables are partially covered in plain white paper with a jar of colored pencils. Adults were enjoying this as well as kids! My companion and I both ordered Shrimp street tacos. They are served with fresh limes, salsa, a creamy sauce, beans, and rice. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and not a bit rubbery! That's an accomplishment in a busy restaurant! The beans were freshly made and not out of a can. The rice was fluffy and flavorful. I will definitely go back and try other dishes! read more

This place is disgusting, the food is garbage if you want Hispanic food go to a real Mexican restaurant. The person who served my drink seemed waaay too young to be doing that. And the ambiance? It's so off I feel like I have to act happy or else one of the workers is going to get beat by their manager who acts like he's hot sh*t while also having a stick up his a**. What really ticks me off is I saw the manager getting too friendly with one of the workers and she visibly seemed uncomfortable. I know what that's like it's absolutely horrible. We stopped by here during an off time to get some dinner during a power outage. The food was absolutely delicious. We got chips and queso to start and the queso was THICK and tasty and the chips were house made. I ordered a chicken fajita salad and struggled to finish it because it was so much food. It came out hot, the service was great... the margarita's were amazing... and the service was very attentive and friendly. While the restaurant looks nice, it's about the only thing. Our server almost dropped our appetizer and grabbed the food with her hands to keep it from falling off the plate. We discarded the side she grabbed and tried to make the best out of it. Found that it was bland. Also, the queso tastes like it came straight from a glass jar on the chip aisle. When we got our entrees (chicken fajitas and a chimichanga) it looked fantastic. What we soon realized is that it seems this "Tex-mex" restaurant doesn't season anything. From bland and dried out chicken, to borracha beans that we did our best not to spit out, it was one disappointment after another. Even the rice was so over cooked, it was literally mush. But on the bright side, I guess with our population make up in this town, we could use a place that only caters to the geriatric. read more
