Located along a busy main business road, entrances to the parking lot are easy to find. This is a…read moresmall shopping center with plenty of parking although it is a bit tight to maneuver. There is one other restaurant as well as several businesses using this parking area so there is always traffic. Handicapped parking is limited with a couple spaces near their entrance and a couple more spaces further away from the door. You'll need to look for a ramp if needed as there is not one by their entrance, but that is not their fault. Walking in for lunch, there was a sign to seat yourself. The restaurant was slightly less than half full. Seating is a mix of tables and booths. There is a low wall on the left with tables on the other side which may be a bit more private or less busy. Most of the booth seats we passed need recovering and the general decor is older and could use a freshening. There is also a small bar in rear with about six stools. There is some background music noticeable but at a low volume which did not interfere with conversation. The temperature inside was rather cool and we left our coats on during our meal. Our waitress came by within a few seconds of us sitting down. She took our drink order and brought the drinks back within a minute. We asked for a few minutes to review the menu. After about ten minutes she returned, apologizing for getting distracted with bussing tables and taking other orders. It appears the restaurant was understaffed and our waitress was performing many tasks. We ordered two appetizers and two entrees. One appetizer dip came out piping hot in about ten minutes. The Buffalo Chicken dip was very good. There is distinct Buffalo flavor without significant spiciness. The majority of the included chicken was shredded as expected but there was one very large chicken piece in the middle. This needed a fork and knife to break apart to eat. The accompanying pita-type chips were warm, crispy on the outside and little puffy inside. The remaining appetizer was delivered about five minutes later, with the two entrees about five minutes after that. The Fall special Four Cheese Bruschetta dip was good. Three of the cheeses were well mixed and the mozzarella was layered on top in the middle of the bowl. Once this cooled a bit it was difficult to use the pita chips to dip any of the mozzarella so a fork was used. The fresh basil and roasted cherry tomatoes were nice garnishes. The Johnny's Special sub was fine but not really special. There was enough meat, lettuce, and tomato to feel it was a decent value but the flavor was overall bland. The onion, mayo, and Italian dressing were minimal to non-existent, at least as far as flavor was concerned. The bread was nicely toasted with a crispness without bordering on hard. The bottom of the sandwich did get soggy by the time the first half of the sandwich was eaten but it did not fall apart. The accompanying French fries were very good, crispy outside and tender inside. The Syracuse Stuffer Calzone was another decent value with adequate ingredients to make a complete meal. The steak was decently flavorful but there was also gristle (possibly grill scrapings) included which took away from the experience. The accompanying marinara dipping sauce was underwhelming. While the recipe ideas and flavors are interesting, the execution was lacking. The kitchen had an issue with the timing of sending out the different parts of the order although the entrees did arrive at the same time. Our server was obviously good at her job but was saddled with additional tasks beyond any reasonable expectation of being able to handle while still serving the customers. The overall potential of the menu does merit another visit.

He said they were closing at 4:00 pm which was too quick for us to get there, and upon hearing that he offered to stay open until 5:00 so we could get there. When we arrived at 4:30 they treated us like family from the moment we arrived until we left. They made her last experience there amazing and were sure to make sure she had everything she wanted and needed. To say it was amazing would not do it justice for how special they made us feel here. The food was absolutely amazing, the service was second to none and the attitude and compassion made our hearts so full we were overwhelmed. The owner and his wife deserve to have as much business as they could possibly handle and want, people like them are very hard to find these days but when you do they deserve to be supported. You won't regret your decision to have a meal here on any level, give them a try and experience what it's like to be treated with gratitude and respect from people that have wonderful souls and truly appreciate your business. Thank you from the deepest part of our hearts, we will never forget this act of kindness.

The crust has a little saltiness, and just the right amount of crunch. I like to mix the sauce on my pizza, red and white with garlic, it goes so well with the 4 cheese. They use best cheeses. & Fresh veggies highly recommend this friendly pizza place, they have helpful staff & clean tables. Our First time there on a Thursday evening. We got a to go orders, A supreme large mouth watering meats with toasty toppings. As expected the crust on the pies were delicious & cooked just right soft & chewy moist not overly worked it melted in our mouths. No. Flash frozen pie crust used mmm here. Better than Chicago pizzas. And their version of cheesy bread the cheese was delicious with hint of garlic salt? I could Not stop eating it We got it to go with a small cheese pie, but as soon as we got the whole order, we opened peeked at the cheese bread. That was all it took, We had to sit down right then & there to eat some. One piece became three or four I lost count. Something I noticed while we waited for our order was that there was a steady stream of patrons coming in for take out orders and the least of these orders was three pies many were four or five boxes. If you love a good pizza. I recommend you try Dough Slingers. Call ahead they are busy. Only con we ran into was confusion about when they are open the Web site gave one set off open/ closed time the phone message was different so call well in advance. Post script I found out why they have such a weird schedule they provide Pizza for the high school games. So I'm sure all the. Locals are aware when they are going to be closed, but call them. I'm thinking a couple of more pies in the oven will not matter too much as long as you can pick them up early. If not go to some great food at the what ever the seasons games are going on. I'll try to take photo next time before we devour it & leave only crumbs.

It was early afternoon and busy, so we sat at the bar to save time. When we looked at the menu, we thought everything looked pricey but figured it would be worth it. We ordered the namesake dishes: the Chicken Bella Vita for me and the Veal Bella Vita for my husband. Wait staff was very nice and indicated it was a good choice. We also ordered a bottle of wine (way overpriced for what it was). The bread and the extra olive oil dip we ordered were delicious, as were the salads. Then we waited. And waited. Over an hour after finishing our salads, the entrees finally arrived. I'm patient with holiday crowds, but no place should take this long. When the food arrived, I was not impressed by the portions for a $25.99 entree, but I hoped the taste would make up for it. It didn't. There was no taste at all! It was supposed to be a champagne sauce, but it tasted like flavorless biscuit gravy with no salt--and no cheese was offered to help it out. My 'Bella Vita' plate had only about 2 bites of chicken, 3 shrimp, and a few pieces of artichoke with some sun-dried tomatoes. I get that poor planning can make a holiday meal prep a challenge, but we paid full price--over $100 for two people before tip. We won't be returning.
