Pizza was great. NY style, with just a slightly thicker crust. The flavors were good and the hot peppers made it perfect. I personally think they could thin the crust out a bit and that would make it hard to beat. Quaint inside with a few tables. They'll likely have the UT game on. Draft beer or soda if you're looking for a drink. Quick service for pick-up (15 mins on a Saturday night). Overall I'd recommend stopping in and adding to your pizza rotation! read more

The wife was craving a pizza, but neither of us felt like going out. SIMM's was recommended by my barber. Disappointed delivery was not an option, but did find DD would make the delivery. My wife likes pineapple on her pizza, I'm not a big fan, but was willing to tolerate it. The pizza arrived , but was understandably a little cold due to the freezing temperatures. BINGO!!! We have a love for all styles of pizza as we lived in Chicago and became huge Lou Maltnati's fans, we lived in Ohio and love that midwestern style of crispy crust, and I am from Detroit and love the Detroit style. So what about NY style? I enjoy it but I cannot say Tri Cities has great pizza. Simms deserves all of the positive reviews. Their NY style was really good. The crust was quite thin, which made it floppy (I would have preferred it to be crispier) but the crust is amazing. As we drove home the yeast from the crust was tantalizing. The Stromboli was good but not great; we like Stromboli with a garlic butter sauce inside using sliced Italian meats vs a pizza toppings and sauce interior. We ordered the pizza directly on the Yelp app and had about a 10-minute drive to get there. By the time we arrived the pizza and a Stromboli were ready. They do have a nice interior with tables available for those who want to eat their pizza onsite. read more

I expected better food than what I ate. I ordered a margarita pizza and noticed the pizza dough was similar to the ones you buy premade. It had holes in it and was pretty bland in taste. The basil on the pizza was from a shaker, which disappointed me since I'm used to the full leaf basil. The food was also super greasy and upset my stomach. Pizza is tasty but being from PA originally where every pizza shop was run by transplant Italians from NY and NJ this really doesn't resemble NY Style pie in the northeast which has a much lighter dance of ingredients. Just search "NY Slice" and click on images and you'll see how thin and understated the slice is .This is closer to typical Southern Pizza with a heavy dough and overly cheesy and saucy ...the kind where you pick up a slice and the ingredients will slide off into the middle of the box if you're not careful. This certainly would not pass the Dave Portnoy "very little flop" test :-) . If you're into the doughy Mellow Mushroom type pie you'll like this. The oven-baked wings were pretty tasty and done as well as can be expected using that method. read more

All PROs. Was greeted immediately upon entering. Ordered a calzone with pepperoni. Told it would take 20 or so mins. This is a good sign since it means no part was previously cooked ahead of time. The portion is very generous for the price. The dough was crispy perfect. The filling of mozzarella and ricotta, delicious. The pepperoni has just the right amount of tang. He told me about how they hand shred the cheeses they use and all top notch ingredients. It was cool to have someone take the time to talk about their pizzas! You can tell he takes great pride in their pies! We got the weekend special, 2-16 inch pizzas with 2 toppings for $31 . Sausage and onion on one and ham and banana peppers on the other. From the friendliest staff I've ever experienced (on multiple occasions) to the level of care they take with making sure the pizza's and food come out hot and delicious, to a warm atmosphere that brings you back to your childhood yrs of eating pizza after a ball game with your family. After extensive research in the Tri-Cities area, I have come to the conclusion that Simms is my favorite pizza place. There was a lot of competition and I spent countless hours sampling each choice, but Simms has beat them out. I like thin New York style, unless I am in one of my rare moods for Chicago style, and Simms is the closest I have found that compares to the pizza I have eaten in NYC and New Haven. I can't seem to leave without one of their fabulous salads either. Pizza places seem to have really great salads because of all the fresh toppings available. This one is piled high with mozzarella. There are also pasta dishes on the menu and I have tried them, but the pizza is so good I typically stick with that. read more

It was pretty easy to find. Staff was freindley when we entered the building. I got a drink and a personal pizza it was there lunch speacial for 7.75. So well priced for that. The pizza was mediocre.
