Obviously, this place smells amazing. They have a huge variety of bath supplies, most notably (for me, at least) are sugar scrubs and handmade soaps. They have natural deodorants, shaving items, lip balms.... Everything you need to smell good and be clean. They have a huge list of regular scents as well as seasonal. I will warn from personal experience I have learned the apple martini is enticing to human and dog olfactory senses. Luckily, the interested dog doesn't find the taste as good! read more

Entering into the store immediately puts you in a tranquil state. Everything smells amazing, and the products are awesome! If I can't make it to the store, I order my items online. They do not disappoint! I no longer buy commercially-made soaps; these are the only soaps and skin products I use. My favorites are Avocado and Olive Oil Smoothie. My mother also loves them! Honestly my favorite stop on this whole boardwalk. Sadly, I don't remember his name, but the guy working while my partner and I spent at least 30 minutes smelling every single scent in the store was remarkably patient and kind. He was happy to answer any question without trying to upsell us or pressure us to buy anything. Almost everything they sell is made locally. We left with a bunch of stuff, including my partner's new favorite cologne. So far, everything has been great quality and well worth the price. read more

If I could rub that stuff on my brain, maybe I wouldn't keep seeing my ex wife Cherie's face in my morning coffee and I wouldn't think about her leaving me for that sign twirler she met in Hoboken at a Korn concert the day after our 12th anniversary. I've been coming to this shop for years and do enjoy their products greatly. I recommend the almond crumb body butter as the scent is just delicious! However, I must warn you...it's easy to get carried away in here and drop at least $40 if you're into products as much as I am. Also, for problematic skin...I highly recommend their tea tree soap! We asked questions and she she didn't know anything and was very unhelpful. She acted as though we weren't even in the store and she just wanted to go home. This shop smells amazing! They offer body butters, scrubs, bath fizzies, chap stick and other small items. I recommend buying a body scrub, the coffee sugar scrub is my favorite. This time I tried the Lemongrass sugar scrub. Prices are reasonable considering products are made with the best ingredients- free of parabens. read more

I went to Smithville to LEH Soap store. Ive never been in there before. I wanted to surprise my wife with a gift, so I selected what soaps I thought she'd like. I bring my soaps to the counter and they gave me the total for six-bars @ 3.14oz of weight a bar of soap came to $34.00! I almost had a heart attack but thought she would really like them, so I purchased. It ends up my wife wanted to kill me for spending that much on six little squares of soap! I could spend all day in this store! They have a very large variety of soaps, lotions, oils, and bath accessories. Whenever I walk into Little Egg Harbor Soap I feel like a kid in a candy store. Everything is moderately priced which is awesome considering you get more bang for your buck! They also have handmade soaps that come in a ton of different scents. I really love their products here. I haven't used a soap from any other store in years at this point and I really love their body butter. They're always coming out with new scents and there are almost always little free samples when you go in, plus there are always sales to grab. My only complaint is that they seem to be shortening their scent line lately and carrying other brands instead of their own. I used to be able to get their balm in almost every scent and now it's only available in a few and there's a whole new shelf of outside brands. read more

I love this store and have always used their soaps on my bathroom vanities, and give them as gifts. However, on my recent visit 2 bars of my favorite soap totaled $11.70! In the past I would've given a 5 star rating for products and pricing, but I have given them a 4 star due to their current pricing. It's higher than I am willing to spend for a bar of soap. Two friends also have mentioned being shocked by the cost on their last visit and therefore bought less than they would've. This is a neat little store that sells great smelling soap and soap related accessories. The employees are extremely friendly and always willing to answer questions. And they usually have sales of discontinued soaps. I'd recommend their tea tree oil bar. read more

Had to jump on and point out that it is very clear that the staff weighs the soap and that is how the soap is priced. The price of soap per ounce has never changed. The people who are complaining about the price obviously chose the largest bars on the table and want to complain when they get rang up instead of choosing a smaller bar. I shopped in the Smithville store today for some last minute Christmas gifts. I absolutely love the soaps and lotions! But today the customer service was horrible. My cashier was Tammy and she was extremely rude! She threw my products in the bag and was very unfriendly. I use their facial products and they are great! I am over 50 and this softens my skin and exfoliates so gently its phenomenal. some of my friends are hesitant to try a cream cleanser but I tell you, it doesn't get much better. its gently and my skin is smooth. I am so excited that L.E.H. soap has opened a location in Ocean City NJ! Their handmade soaps are the best and come in many beautiful scents that are reasonably priced. There is something here for everyone including the guys. And even if you have sensitive skin they have unscented products as well. Every time visit I end up leaving with something different and whether it's a soap, body butter or scrub I have not been let down ever.
