Dr. Cox is simply amazing. His methods (adjustments (which differ depending on my daily mentions), roller machine (my fav) and "the shake machine" help with spine movement, blood flow, and overall spine health. I have been visiting the office since I was 16 (37 now) and am always reminded of how great his services are. I have been to many other chiropractors (I move a lot) and only one was ever comparable but they went out of business. (I went there because it was right next to my work). Anywho, Dr. Cox is simply wonderful at what he does and I always come back to him. Also, I haven't found anyone who relieves me of my scoliosis pain quite like he can. I started seeing Dr Cox over two years ago. The Office manager is excellent. On the rare occasion she missed my call, she returned it immediately. Since coming to Dr. Cox's practice, I have had such great results that my husband and two sons have also become patients. They are very flexible with scheduling and were able to complete the assessment exam and begin treatment without much delay. They don't push vitamins or pressure you at all to buy products from them, but have such things available in their office. It is one of the few places I go in and always walk out feeling better. Really nice office workers and doc....but so much HYPE! If you become a patient here, be prepared to be pestered by phone and emails with all sorts of promotional offers from this office....everything from supplements to business opportunities involving MLM's. You must sign a form that says that you will attend a "dinner with the doc" in which you are encouraged to bring people to "recruit" for his biz ops. You will be treated daily to emailed videos where the doc give you hints and tips which, of course, will drain your wallet should you decide to participate. (Dr. Cox loves himself a bit too much!) They call you and ask you to come to their office for a "special opportunity" and they don't tell you what it is until you get there, something that will cost you $$. I also didn't like that everyone was treated the exact same way, the doc doesn't make spinal adjustments with his hands, he uses high dollar massagers that you can get at Brookstone in the mall. They are constantly pushing weight loss shakes and fasting drinks and all sorts of products. They want you to mutely accept everything they say without any input from you on your own health! I don't like the pushiness of the doctor and front desk and their attitudes if you don't want to do everything they recommend. Not once did he treat me for the problem I went to him for in the first place. Do yourself a favor and find a chiropractor that will listen to your needs and work with you to improve your health. read more

I was in bad shape the first time I went to see Dr. Cox. On top of that, I was not sold on the profession of Chiropractic Care. I was in such pain that I was willing to give it a try. I was candid from the start. Dr. Cox took the time to hear my concerns. I had three days until I had to get on a jet and head to a tradeshow in Vegas where I made 50% of my annual income and would need to be on my feet for 18 hour days for most of 4 days in a row. I could hardly stand. I had never been that bad off before or since. After careful examination, Doctor Cox developed a plan that allowed me to make the tradeshow; I was not 100%, but I made the show and didn't miss any significant events. Upon retrun Dr. Cox had me come in several times a week to build strength and make long-term corrections to what was wrong. I have read other reviews that related details about product hype and how many opportunities are presented. I see where that person is coming from. However, I have great empathy for the small business that Dr. Cox is making a success. I give him a break and just opt out of MLM offers or weight loss treatments. Maybe it is because I have been in sales that I don't care if they "pitch me". I know what I want and don't want and if I don't want it I say no; and have, and that is the end of that. What matters most? My back is better and I got there under the care and treatment of Little Elm Chiropractic. I started when they were in the old building. Their new facility -- try maybe 2-3 years old now -- is very nice. I felt and feel amazingly better after each adjustment I get at Little Elm Chiro. Doctor Cox is involved with the local Chamber of Commerce and he also helps other practices be a success. I see him as a giver and I like that aspect of his care as well. If you are looking for a vibrant practice that cares to stay on cutting edge in proven care, this practice should be one you check out. I think it has been too long since I visited. Bought a Groupon today for this place, and used it today. I wish I had bought the Groupon for 3 visits instead of just one; not because they tried to make me come back for more money (they didn't), but because its such a damn good deal. I dont have any REAL back issues, but I have a bunch of (out of state) friends that are chiropractors and so I know the importance of regular exams. Its been about 3 years since I had an exam and had actually been on the hunt for a local chiro when I found the Groupon from today. Before buying the deal, I looked here on Yelp. I saw a few complaints about the docs trying to pitch a MLM (multi level marketing) program to their patients, but as far as the service and attention to the spine (which is what I care about) the reviews were good. If they had pitched me a MLM program I just would have said no thanks (but they never did so it was totally a NON issue). Bought my Groupon around noon. Called at 3 to make an appointment, showed up at 5pm. Filled out some basic paperwork (took 5-10 minutes) and was seen promptly by the doctor (nice guy). Everything was pretty routine; he looked at my alignment, found a few quirks that needed to be addressed, took some x-rays and then made some adjustments in my neck and lower vertebrae. After that I laid on a traction table, its like one of those massage chairs at the mall, but it stretches out your spine (one of my main interests since I sit all day, plus I'm sort of tall and lanky so I know my spine could use some decompression). After that, the doc had me on an adjustment table and made a few adjustments. Lastly, I stood on some weird machine that made me vibrate for 10 minutes. Seemed kind of hokey, but who knows, maybe it added value. As I wrapped up, the receptionist scheduled me for a FREE follow up (I assumed I'd have to pay; nice surprise). As I was walking out, I did jokingly mention that I was waiting for the MLM pitch the whole time (as I had seen here on yelp). The receptionist told me that she and the 2 original doctors ARE part of an MLM program that they love being a part of. But she said that they never force it on anybody (in my case didnt even mention it until I brought it up half way out the door). So to sum it up: GREAT doctor. FANTASTIC value. Was seen promptly and waiting between "Activities" was VERY minimal. New building, clean, etc. I'll definitely be back. In fact, I just bought 2 vouchers for my wife. If you're considering going, DO IT! WORST case scenario you don't get anything out of it. But more than likely you'l feel better and sleep better which is no doubt worth the price of the visit. read more

I came here awhile back and was not to impressed. I have a uncle that is a chiropractor so I know a lot about it. I wanted to come here because at the time I had some injures from cheer and didn't want to drive all the way to my uncles in Dallas. Buuuuuut they treat everyone with the same treatment, when everyone has different issues. You come in he pops your back and neck the same way every time and he sends you off to some machines that are suppose to help. Which is kinda lazy. He's a nice guy though. I got asked to go to some dinner at Romans to hear his lecture about supplements and stuff. They made it seem mandatory.... I don't have time for that!!! From setting up my initial appointment to beginning the treatment it was all a breeze Dr. Cox explained what needed to be done and i have been feeling great after the adjustments. The office manager is wonderful always cheerful and wonderful delight to talk to. I always look forward to going for my appointment ... because no matter what kind of day you had, you always come out feeling great. They are very flexible with scheduling. I decided to check this place out since I've been having back problems for a few years now. Plus I saw a sponsored ad on Facebook that said "First Visit $27" so of course I thought that was a sign that I needed to make an appointment. I get there, fill out paperwork then I was sent to this room to watch a video. The video was a few people reviewing Dr. Cox saying how much he's helped their problem blah blah blah. It was so scripted! You could definitely tell. Then he walked in, asked whats going on, had me step on a scale to determine how crooked I am (which I already knew hence my reason for being there), took X-Rays then walked me to the front to pay & reschedule for my next visit. I was thinking to myself seriously? that's it? The woman at the front desk gave me a cold pack & two biofreeze samples & asked for payment WHICH WAS $47! What happened to $27? I paid $47 for a 5 minute visit. The time it took me to fill out paperwork was longer than my visit with Dr. Cox. I left the office in the same pain I was in before I went there. I called to cancel my next appointment with them because I felt ripped off. I left a voicemail saying I didn't know when I was going to reschedule because I had a lot going on. The front desk returned my call & said she knows that I cancelled but I really needed to reschedule to talk about my X-Rays. I told her yet again that I didn't know when I was going to be able to. Feeling a little pressured here. Later that day at work, I check my phone on my lunch break & saw that I had a missed call & voicemail from them. It was Dr. Cox himself telling me that he knows I cancelled but I really needed to come in to talk about my X-Rays & to call back as soon as possible to reschedule. Pestered much? I think so. The staff is very nice which is the reason why I gave them two stars but I was very dissatisfied with my visit & I will not be returning. Pressuring your patients is not the way to go. After reading other reviews I see that I made the right decision to not go back. Steer clear away from this place. read more

Before seeing Dr. Cox we had no knowledge of chiropractic care. He has been able to help our family in so many different ways: from headaches, to colic with our baby. Don't prepay for you're treatment, they will offer you discounts for up front payment then cut short the number of agreed to therapy sessions. Disappointed in the therapy process. They treated my wife the same way they treated me and we had different problems when we began therapy. Most of the time we left the office without accomplishing anything. I am a Los Angeles transplant and I needed a chiropractor to replace the one I had left in Huntington Beach(Dr. John Bergman world known). I arrived in Little Elm on September 2018. My back was hurting from all of the driving, moving and lifting. I waited two weeks and then finally searched Google and found two places. Dr. Cox saw me on the same day I found him. I was so grateful. I knew what to look for in a chiropractor from being a patient of the bergmanchiropractic.com. Dr. Cox had me up and running once again. I have been having regular adjustments to keep me healthy. Dr. Cox also listened to my concerns about needing a possible MRI for another issue of mine. I also used a Groupon. I paid the entire bill upfront. After a few sessions, I got worse. I informed the doctor who told me to be patient, as I would have ups and downs. It got so bad I could barely walk and had a hard fall at the office when told to get up on the machine. I finally ended up at an orthopedic surgeon, followed by therapy sessions. When I tried to get my money back as offered in the ad "pain diminished or your money back" I was denied. The same treatment is used for all patients, no matter what their condition. I started out at 3 times a week, then 2 times, then 1, and then I was to come in monthly. It seemed ridiculous to wait a month when I couldn't walk without a cane. The doctor seemed to care less about my condition. I am sadly disappointed, not only in the treatment, but in the integrity of the doctor. After a different treatment, not with a chiropractor, I am 100% better. read more
