I literally cannot say enough wonderful things about the team at Little Explorers. We hosted our little ones 2nd Birthday Party there, and Mallory was absolutely AMAZING to work with. She walked me through the timeline of events, always responded to my emails, and slowed me to drop off some items the day before - of which she put up for me! She cleaned throughout the free play time, which just shows how much they take care of their items. Mallory did a Music & Movement class for the kiddos (HIGHLY recommend adding this on to a party), and it really made the party interactive and fun for the kids. Such a great mommy find! This is a beautiful, clean & open space for children to enjoy learning! Both of my children (Preschool age) had a great time with free play and I cannot wait to come back for one of the many scheduled activities. When we arrived one of the employees quickly greeted us and explained how the play passes work and a variety of activities offered. My daughters really, really enjoyed the indoor monkey bars! They are just high enough for my 4 yr old to hang and swing from bar to bar, but low enough for her to conquer her fear of falling! In one visit she learned to do them!! They also had a nice little reading nook & dress up area with "changing room". They also had a nice area to work on fine motor skills! Love this place! It's a clean (big emphasis on clean!), family-friendly environment for my little 1 year old guy to play in the nice baby area and entertaining enough for my active 5 year old. Best part of a Little Explorer's birthday party is everything!! Ms Amber & Ms Mallory are SO FUN & welcoming! All the kiddos had a blast! From the setup time where they helped me with the cupcakes, the sign setup & food display as I was attending to my littles, the help cleaning up all the food messes...taking our pictures, to the MUSIC & movement CLASS!!! It was the BEST! My daughter turned 2 and didn't want to leave. My other daughter is almost 4 & we had guests ranging from 2-7....because of all the dramatic play opportunities it is really a blast we love little explorers for class, and now DEF for birthday parties!!! This is hands down the best indoor playground in the area. I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old who is on the spectrum and they both absolutely loved it. The toys were all clean, in good shape and educational. We forgot our socks so we had to buy them but they have the cutest socks, definitely not thrift store leftovers like some places sell you. There were two women working and I believe that one was the owner. They were both very nice and the owner went way out her way to ensure we were having a good time and to engage with my children. The only downside for me is that I live in Tampa and it is a little too far for regular visits. Edited to add- Mallory was the woman who was working that day. She was excellent! read more

This place is absolutely amazing! From the decorative walls and space to the educated engaging leaders. It is all wonderful. The centers and spaces are so creatively done and I especially love the corner tree nook, cork board wall, and play boat! Being an early childhood educator myself this place speaks volumes to me. Little Explorers has been such a great addition to our weekly routine! We absolutely love it! A wonderful group of "Mompreneurs" who share just as much love to our children as they would their own! It is a clean, spacious area where both my kids (3 years and 10 months) can both play either separately or together! We attend a few of the classes and always have a great time. It's a great place to network, share Mom stories and if you're lucky enough just relax and not have to worry too much about what your kids are doing. As a stay at home mom, I greatly appreciate all the little things that Little Explorers have to offer my children and I. At home, I read to my children daily, we sing and dance, we play and learn as the day goes on, we make a mess and we clean up. However, my children are missing out on peer time and exploration/learning outside the home. We attend the Palm Harbor library for story time so they 'sit' down and occasionally sing along with the other children, but something was still missing. Little Explorers has been that missing puzzle. My children gets to be engaged in the classes-they get to explore and learn from their surroundings at Little Explorers in a safe environment. First impression of the place, the space is open and inviting without being too 'bright', aka. primary colors. First impression of the people/atmosphere-warm and caring. The wonderful thing is my first impression has been the norm since we've started going to Little Explorers since October. The lounge/eating area and the play areas are kept neat and clean. Both the staff and other moms/patrons who go to Little Explorers have all been very kind, and helps to look on after each other's children when we are there. A little help is always appreciated! :) There are a couple of specific classes (ie. music & movement, theatrical, story time, and sensory classes to name a few) geared towards various age groups. These classes are well thought out, and provide that much needed group/peer learning and interacting activity that my children need. So I can always pick a class on any given day (Monday to Friday so far) that we can attend. Since 'open play' is available all day for the indoor play area, we usually hang out for a couple of hours after a class so my children can play, I can have an adult conversation with other moms/patrons (hallelujah), we have a snack in the eating area, they play some more (or one takes a nap in the stroller), and then we go home so they can take a nap. It's also very nice that there are two separate play areas: one larger play area for the walking children and a smaller play area for the non-walkers (lounging babies to crawlers). Both play areas are fully enclosed. The larger play area is accessible by a wooden picket gate whereas the baby play area is surrounded by sit on benches-which is quite convenient since I have a lounging baby and a walking 20 month old. The indoor monkey bar and slide is still too intimidating for my toddler, however there are still enough activity areas wherein my toddler can still play and learn from mimicking other children. There's the lego wall and ship hull, tornado tunnel, cork wall, ball drop, play kitchen, shopping area, diner table, dress up area, chalk and gear wall, reading nook, and of course the puzzles and blocks to name a couple of things. The baby area is full of softer play toys and puzzles too. I am very glad the play areas are a 'no-shoe' zone, so everyone has to wear socks when entering both play areas. Like I said earlier, all the little things Little Explorers have thought of for the safety, enjoyment and enrichment of the children and parents/patrons are much appreciated. The one con: parking situation. Since Little Explorers is located in a shopping plaza, the parking is located on the side of the building or across the building (shared parking lot) wherein you have to cross a somewhat busy crosswalk. People are rushing through the parking lot in their cars to leave or get their meals from the Chicken Salad Chick drive through they aren't really paying attention to pedestrians. There are plenty of times when a car or two have zoomed by us when we are walking to or from Little Explorers. So I have to be extra careful when crossing since I know drivers aren't looking for pedestrians and probably can't see me with my children. Still, my children and I absolutely love going to Little Explorers, and I highly recommend this place. read more

From the moment we walked in everyone was super welcoming and upbeat. Such a breath of fresh air. I have a five year old and a one year old and they both had a great time. We even took the music class and the teacher was amazing. Kept the kids attention the whole time and was really aware of every child and parent-which is hard to do when you have a big group. Little explorers is exactly what I didn't realize that we needed. We are lucky enough that we don't need to put our 18 month old in daycare but we felt like she was missing out on some vital socializing time. Not only does Little Explorers offer the socializing that we wanted, but the classes and education they provide are one of a kind. Unlike other play areas, the classes at Little Explorers are included with her admission. They addressed my daughter by name and were genuinely excited to welcome her to play...kids have a good sense/feel for people and she felt so comfortable she hugged the staff within minutes of signing in The play area is very well kept and clean. Every time, I've been impressed with how CLEAN it is and the staff have always been super friendly (and talented, with regards to their programming). Just left this place and it was WONDERFUL!!! My baby boy just turned one over the weekend and we felt it was time for him to have some playtime in a different space other than our home. We came here, signed the waiver, and we got a a free day of play. Ms. Mallory (one of the employees, but she's so knowledgeable and passionate, I thought she was the owner at first!) came and explained the subscription options to us as well. Didn't feel pressured at all and we just enjoyed watching our little guy enjoy the play space. Super clean! I wasn't even there that long and Ms. Mallory came and disinfected all the play items about 3 times! The owner is sweet, funny, engaging, and such an awesome host to parents! It's a great place to meet other parents, burn out the kids' energy, and have a sweet time. If you're in the Tampa area (and surrounding cities), it's worth your time to come try this place out! One parent I met came all the way from Brooksville and spent the good part of the day there.. her almost 2 yr old didn't want to leave! I'll definitely be back! read more
