Some of the clothing and home goods looked kind of ratty but there were some good rather new items too. They do have 50% colored tags for the week so the item might be even cheaper! The home goods section also arranged items by colors which I thought was very fun. I don't see that in a lot of thrift stores. A loveseat couch was like $25 or $35 which was pretty crazy! I also picked up a Frye carrying case for $3 and it was new with tags!

We take a few months throughout the year to stack up donations. And then we just ended up sorting things and putting things in places in the warehouse. It's a really good way for us to work together, to give back to the community. All of the proceeds go to places that are in need, within the community. Giving back a super important, and helping Mama's is consistently in the Forefront of that within Gwinnett county.

The layout is fun and the park itself is beautiful, especially in the winter when the leaves are thin and you can actually see the baskets through the trees. That said, the course could really benefit from clearer signage. Several pads weren't well marked, and we even had to skip a hole because we couldn't figure out where it started or ended. Since we only had time to play about half the course, we found ourselves spending more minutes navigating than throwing. I can't imagine how tough it must be in the summer when everything is fully leafed out -- it's probably like searching for a needle in a haystack. Still, it's a solid course in a great park, and with better markings it could easily be a five‑star experience.

While there were a ton of people, there was plenty of parking and I appreciated that there was an officer there to keep the flow of cars moving along. The park itself had several playgrounds and I loved they were padded. The kids had a blast on slides, swings and running around in the wide open space. The bathrooms were clean which always makes things even better. The kids had a blast playing with all the other kids and this is definitely a playground I'd come back to visit.

I understand it was very cold outside but your body language speaks volumes and I already know that he was a very rude unfriendly old man. They open the door around 9:35 which was awesome. Started stating the new rules for the 2025 cooperative ministry and how he loves being a volunteer over the past years and that they are low on funds helping families in need. Secondly, the rules was not explained in good understanding terms. They just keep asking do you have any questions. The reality were mostly for new clients or clients who have use the food pantry 5 months or more. Please Beware!!!! The new rules 2025 is that for 5 months you will need to use their food pantry once a month or now twice. If you have used their food pantry for 5 months or more then if they have the funds to help with rent and/or utilities you can get help stated by Ms.Becky. My story like I said at the beginning, I needed help with my utilities and food due to temporary loss of wages. Because I used this ministry back in 2017 (Yes) 2017)for rent assistance 8 years ago. The smart ash old white man and Ms.Becky stated they could not help me with the electric bill and ask me did I still need help with food. I stated NO. Why would I need so called good frozen food if there is no electricity. Another real issue the Unfriendly old man started to throw my application in a trash bin and not a shredder. So, I told him to please hand me my application to shred it the correct way. Just awful and sad.

I came here yesterday to check out some very casual summer clothing, like tank tops, t-shirts and…read moreshorts, that I can wear around the house, since it looks like summer-ish weather in the area isn't going to change any time soon. I don't mind paying a whole lot less for clothing, but I do have a limited range of what I would wear, whether it's been pre-owned or new. Lots of free parking is available in the large lot in front of the store. As I walked through the entrance, I noticed that it's very easy to see everything in the store, since most of the racks and shelving is no taller than 4' tall. There is also easily seen signage throughout the store that lets customers know where the various departments are located. In the limited amount of aisles that I was at, the racks were spaced wide apart, allowing customers with carts to easily stroll down all aisles without fear of colliding with others. The store was very clean, and mostly organized. I looked for tank tops I could wear around my place, but I was apparently being a little too picky because I ruled out every tank top that I found, mainly because I was looking for plain ones (ones without logos or stupid/silly/funny statements on them) and could not find any that I liked. I gave up on t-shirts, too, for the same reasons. Shorts were a different issue; not only was that department picked over, but the shorts I found would not look good on a short guy. Just about all of the shorts I found were made for tall guys, or at least guys with a longer inseam. I found some shorts that had shorter inseams, but still rejected them due to them not being age appropriate for me. What guy wants to wear shorts that would make others think, "Did that guy borrow those shorts from his young grandson?"? Before I left, I noticed a long line of customers waiting to checkout at the single register opened for business. There were at least 12 customers, many of them with multiple items in shopping carts, looking a little annoyed that no other employees came to the front to help that one cashier who was trying to get everyone checked out in a timely manner but failing spectacularly.
