Standing on two posts, it has two doors. The inside has two shelves that were quite full of books on the upper shelf and the lower shelf seemed to be pamphlets of religious material. Most of the books looked to be religious and for this location, completely understandable. This library is not listed in the Little Free Library system. Mostly paperbacks but some childrens books and even some cooking books. The inside is a little weathered. The library is not in the LFL map database but there is a plaque inside. It reads, "Little Free Library. Take a Book - Leave a Book. Donated by the Decatur Downtown Development Authority 2012. Artist: Elizabeth P Dulemba." There is no charter number posted or steward. The box is gray with white trim so it doesn't jump out from the background like a brightly colored box would. It is on a single post and there is a since door with a clear panel secured by a simple twist catch. Inside, a neatly arranged stack of mostly paperbacks on the single shelf. All in clean and dry condition so I was happy to move a few into here as I continue working through emptying my own library at home. This is charter number 15653. It was designed by Marvin Penick and the idea was conceived by city councilman Mark Murphy. I think the best way to get here the first time is to GPS. You'll turn off of highway 92 or North Alabama Road onto Wiley Bridge Road. The road is narrow and it's through a residential neighborhood. (I wouldn't recommend coming here at night unless you are familiar with the roads.) You want to stay on Wiley for about 1/2 miles and then turn onto Mountain Park Road. The city hall is a small little cute cabin and the library is right on the porch. There are some comfortable furniture along with a coffee table for you to use. It's a fantastic little place for a family outing. Highly recommend it.

Well not only did she listen to the stories about my mom, and helped me asses the value of the ring and gold she had but she helped me design an amazingly beautiful pendant to remember my mom using her engagement ring and we talked about what her life meant to me. I ended up with a compass pendant since mom was my guide and I became hers later in life. Laura even suggested using her diamonds to face east to west for her sunrise and sunset. With a special inscription on the back. I am in awe of the work they do at Worthmore and I recommend them anyone who needs a special piece of jewelry commissioned or is just looking for someone to take you under their wing and talk wedding rings and jewelry to you. Laura is very informative she also helped us insure our precious pieces which came in handy when I lost the diamond from my wedding ring in a freak accident! Their store also has alot of one of a kind stuff too! So go see Laura Foster and she will help you find the special piece that everyone will comment on and you will never take off!
