Was forced to go here after high school and hated it. But that was because college was not for me…read more Lc is a great school for people to get a degree and not pay thousands of dollars. I got hired with an airline as a flight attendant during the semester and left!!! Best feeling ever!!! Been with the airline for 12 years and live in Miami Florida. Best decision I ever made. So if college isn't for you and you want to travel the world and get paid, apply to be a flight attendant!!!

Lorain County Community College is scamming veterans…read more I attended this university from 2020-2023 on the Post 9/11 GI Bill. However, my benefits expired before I finished so I had to pay the difference on my student account. On Jan. 24, 2024, I paid off the balance in full which was $2,440.72, but I never received my diploma for over a year. When I went in to inquire about it on April 8, 2025, they said I still owed $400.45. I paid that amount in full but again did not receive my diploma. The Department of Veterans Affairs provided me with documentation confirming that Lorain County Community College owed me $211.67. They sent me a check for $188.78. Then apparently to celebrate 4th of July weekend, Lorain County Community College sent me a bill for $118.78 when I have not attended a class there in over 18 months and have settled this account twice now to the tune of $2,841.17. If this does not constitute a scam, it is gross and shameful negligence. For all I know, they will continue to hold my diploma hostage and they will continue to bill me for classes I took and paid for years ago. Shame on you, Lorain County Community College.

I'm very satisfied with the dental work I received here. My…read moreissue is with their complete lack of communication. I've been a patient for about three years and it's impossible to find who to talk to, or more importantly, to EVER receive a return phone call. I've complained for the entire time. Most recently l called two weeks ago, have left four messages and have not received a reply. Someone needs to be fired. I'm sick of it.

If I could give 0 starts I would. This review is specifically for the billing department. My…read moredaughter had a consult here last year in 2025. It is now July 2026 and they have not figured out my bill. First, it was not billed to my insurance. It took 3 calls to get them to submit to the correct insurance. My insurance confirmed that consultations are covered at 100% BTW. Then, months later I receive a bill saying my insurance paid the previous amount, but now it doubled and I still owe the same amount. I then called 6 times over the next month and a half and was told each time that their system was down and they could not view my bill. Finally received a voicemail (a drop in voicemail mind you - you know the ones where their system drops you a voicemail without even calling you so that you then have to call them back again!!!!!!!). I call back again today and was informed they are unsure why I am showing a double charge and it now needs escalated. I would love to have this taken care of before 2027. The amount of time I have spent dealing with this is absurd.

It is always fascinating the places that you can check in to and review on Yelp…read more I swore I'd never live anywhere other than Buffalo and yet I've now been living in Pittsburgh since 2012. Overall, it is a wonderful city! I am continuously amazed at the amount of activities and cultural amenities that a city the size of Pittsburgh has. Sure, we have the Steelers, Pens and Pirates. But there is a world class symphony, opera and ballet. Tons of options for theater. And top notch museums and gardens. The city itself, especially downtown, is fairly well maintained. There are always street teams out making sure there isn't garbage laying around and in general, streets and sidewalks are fairly well maintained. The negatives are that with all the one way streets, it can be tough to navigate downtown. And, in the winter if we get more than about two inches of snow, the snow removal is awful. Overall, though, it is a wonderful city with plenty to do and see for people of all ages. I highly recommend a visit!

I've been fortunate enough to live in the City of Pittsburgh in both the Regent Square (city side) neighborhood as well as Little Italy (Bloomfield). Both fantastic neighborhoods (Bloomfield is my beloved) close to downtown. I would often walk to and from town from Bloomfield. In addition, I worked downtown in city government and absolutely loved it. Everything about my hometown city is wonderful. We've evolved from the Iron City (steel industry) to a foodie, tech, and medical hub. The city boasts amazing turn of the century architecture (and older) with new and modern buildings. The City of Bridges has beautiful views of the Three Rivers, Mount Washington, etc. from Point State Park which is a large green space along the water. There's nothing more awe-inspiring than driving through the Fort Pitt Tunnels to have the entire city in front of you. Oh, and how could I forget? It's definitely a sports town. "How 'bout dem Stillers, yinz guys?".

While this library is a wonderful establishment and serves the community of Beaver unceasingly, it…read morehas advanced room for improvement. The building is getting old and needs some rejuvenation. For instance, most of the building is adorned with large glass windows, especially in its center, making it quite hot and uncomfortable to sit for extended periods of time. A few blinds in the library would eliminate this and the facility would be much more comfortable and cooler during the summer months. The internet connection is something that is a lot left to be desired; I have registered complaints about this numerous times to no avail. In the back of the library, the signal is weak! You cannot even watch YouTube videos or listen to a podcast without an interruption eventually occurring. Something simple like installing a router above the ceiling would eliminate weak spots. Just a few of these simplistic improvements would be outstanding. That being all said, the STAFF is amazing, a VAST collection of books, and, specifically, an extraordinary collection of local and Pennsylvania history that few public libraries can match! It's a relaxing place to write, research, and conduct whatever business your intentions instruct you.
