They will not apply sunscreen, wipe children in the bathroom, or anything that could in any way be construed as inappropriate. In my opinion, this is a good thing. I explained to her how her response was very rude and highly unprofessional. Of course she was dismissive and rude and as ever. Before she could finish I asked to speak to a supervisor. Her supervisor got on the phone, I explained about Gretchen laughing, how it made me feel even worse, because who likes to ask for help. Her reply was so dismissive, she tried to redirect the conversation by explaining why so much paperwork was needed, I explained to her that I work for the county, helping ppl is my job and I more than understand the importance of adequate documentation, but that Gretchen was tremendously inappropriate and unprofessional. That if I acted in that manner at my job, I would definitely be reprimanded or even fired for making a client feel the way she made me feel. I explained that I would not be moving forward with my application, I'd be filing a complaint with anyone who would listen, and hopefully the next person that comes and asks for help would be met with more compassion and professionalism.......
