Little Italy is a chic Italian (naturally) restaurant specializing in meatballs.
I came to this restaurant after a mandatory 3 hour gym session with my sister so both of us had room for quite a bit of food. Needless to say, we ordered - a lot -. But that's a good thing so I can tell you more.
Let's start off with the pizzas. We had the Gabriella (rosso, mozzarella, smoked bacon, ham, pepperoni and salami) and Martina (bianco, roasted apples, mozzarella, gorgonzola, arugula). They were thin crust but huge. I thought the Martina was especially good. The combination of roasted apples and cheese was unbeatable.
For the meatballs, we had the house special (rib eye, wagyu, bacon and cheese) with pomodoro sauce as well as the beef with parmesan creme. Both were really soft and tasty; however, they came to us raw on the inside, as if they had not defrosted them enough. The inside was cold, but outside was warm. We had the bring a new batch. They were more careful about it and we were able to finally appreciate how delicious they were.
Finally, for mains, we ordered the Filetto de Manzo or the grilled ribeye with spinach and gorgonzola sauce. It was really tender, flavorful and juicy.
This restaurant seems to use premium ingredients, but of course this comes at a price. It was really expensive. Admittedly, we ordered a lot but for two (normal) people I'd estimate somewhere close to PHP 700 - 800 each. Worth a try though! Meatballs were awesome!! read more
