Nothing is seem to be done by the books and they are causing more damage then learning. The teachers are compassionate, patient, kind, accomodating, and overall extraordinary. We feel safe and confident leaving our 4 year old and twin 1 year old girls in their care. Their curriculum is beyond compare--they take extra steps in providing fun yet educational care for our children. The extra offerings like cooking class, phonics, and soccer training (not to mention their awesome summer program) are just added bonuses. The director, Heather, goes out of her way to touch base with us about our children's progression and provide us support. She and other staff have been a great support/reference for us as parents, providing us information and feedback on parenting tricks and child behaviour (and letting us know that we weren't crazy when we had home issues). They truly know and understand children. We feel that our son is already ahead of other children his age that go to other providers and will be well prepared for kindergarten. We really can't say enough good things about this center. I should also mention that we drive almost an extra 30 minutes, passing many daycares (including another Kindercare) just to come to this excellent learning center. The center is clean they are proficient they are kind they help with potty training they have a hair dresser come in once a month to help cut kids hair because hair cuts aren't always the easiest things for two year olds. My son is socializing with other children . They have a full kitchen and a cook who makes the children's food fresh i mean really what more can a parent ask for . I love this center and would recommend it to any family I live about 20 minutes away and I wouldn't change going to this care center for any center that was closer to me. We brought our two-year-old son into their facility for his first day. He was very excited to start his first day and ran right to the classroom we were told he was to be assigned to from our previous visit. The owner of the facility told us that we are not welcome back due to him not being compliant. He did not listen to her when we first got to the center (shocker he is a two-year-old that was there for less than 15 minutes and overly excited) and when he fell out of his chair he cried and ran for us because he was scared (crazy how he ran to his parents to console him...). Those two reasons were enough for the owner to justify that we are not welcome back and our two-year-old is just not going to be a good fit. I'm not sure as to what they expect out of a two-year-old, when this is normal and age-appropriate behavior. But apparently our two-year-old was a safety issue as well. Regarding how they allow their doors to the classroom be unlocked for the children to open them without a gate which in my opinion, is a safety issue for the children. However, I warn any parents who are looking at this center to be wary. Even the staff apologized on account of the owner and were unsure as to what happened. Very unhappy and ashamed that I even thought this establishment would be kind to my child.
