Produce is excellent - but goes fast, and they can't really tell you when they will get more, so if you want the 69 cent avocados, get them early. If you haven't checked out the specialty aisle, you should. They have seasonal items that are only around for a limited time. And my advice here - you're going to love the product you buy so buy two. I'm still said I only tried the sea salted caramel cookies once. It was a sad sad day when I couldn't get them anymore. Gluten free food section is smaller than world market, earth fair, etc, but prices and products are great and it's very well organized. Aldi is so freaking organized. I never see misplaced products, I always know where to go to get something. They stock the items that are purchased frequently, and keep their product section looking wonderful. It is packed every time I go - I have yet to find a time that it is slow, so any advice there, let me know. I love their reusable bags, I bought the insulated one, and two of the smaller bags, and they hold so much and don't break! The establishment offers lists of things to purchase and take home/to the hotel for heating up or eating at home too. What happened to my Publix?…read more This store opened and was such a breathe of fresh air from the other stores that are around. Service was GREAT! You could always find what you need, associates were helpful, REGISTERS WERE OPEN, and prices are good. Fast forward six months. Sections of shelves are empty. The staff, especially newer folks, are surly and rude. Management is never on the floor. Registers are never open! Why are there three register and only two self-check registers open at 6:30 on a Sunday?! 5-6 people in line at each register and no one is willing to open a new register? Never in my life would I think that I would feel more welcome at Walmart than at Publix. Come on Publix. You're better than this. At least you used to be.
