During this, I couldn't see anything and was sexually assaulted by multiple people. All I could do was swat the hands off of me. We were told to be completely silent under the house because it was a scene where the police asked the people living there if they had seen any escaped slaves. It was the perfect storm to sexually assault somebody and nobody will ever know who did it. I was 13. I feel like my teachers and the employees failed me. I'm 26 now and I've carried it with me all of these years. If they are still doing these field trips, I really hope they added a light under the house, even if it's dim lights so that you can see what's happening around you, or cancelled that part altogether. I hope it hasn't happened to other little girls.

There are animals to visit and a small store with eggs, honey, produce, pasture-raised chicken, other local foods, fresh-cut flowers, and various books, clothing, and merchandise. For our event, they put up a huge tent, so we had breezy shaded dining. This was next to another covered structure, for a breezy shaded dance-floor. And there was a food-truck bar as well. In all, a clever use of their space for a fun comfortable event. We had access to their farm for self-tours, and i think there were guided tours and feedings, too, but we walked ourselves among and petted and brushed and fed the humped mini "zebu" steer, non-wooly Katahdin sheep, goats, mini horses, a mini donkey, mules, about six of rabbits of different kinds, and chickens. And beehives! We were there for a special event. The Gorman Heritage Farm is open to the public Mon-Sat for under $8 per person. Come see fun farm animals and products!

I've booked parties 5 years now & the girls always help cut cake, pass out cake, ask if kids want a drink, if they want pizza, take their trash when they're done, assist with opening presents, ask if I need help with anything etc & I was surprised none of that was offered. The one girl who was with us the majority of the time didn't say our time was ending. I had kept stressing to her even in the beginning of the party that I just wanted to make sure we had time to do the cake throughout the event. I was ok not opening presents or passing out pizza but I wanted them to sing happy birthday & the kids all get cake. I didn't have time to look at my phone to see the time because I was helping all the kids in the party. The owner came in to let me know that our time was over, the girl didn't say it's over she just left the room. She told us that if we weren't out in 15 minutes that they would charge another 30 minutes add on, so we did that. I feel had the staff made aware the time or asssisted with the things listed above like previous locations have done I wouldn't have been behind. In the splash paint room my daughter was initially separated from her two friends, I asked them to keep those 3 kids together & divide the rest however they wanted. It was her birthday, the two girls were her friends & the rest were older kids. The one girl was frustrated with that. I was surprised that neither of the girls came in the room as they were doing it to help them get the paint. I went in to explain to my daughter who was turning 6 how to do it & ended up staying inside because they needed help. The girl who came at the end was very sweet with them I will say that but she wasn't really there. I don't know if she was assisting people in the front of the building but I just was shocked that they weren't helping inside as it was going on. It was very rushed because of the activities booked but all of the kids had fun. I think if they had more management things would flow better because it was a cute party, the building is beautiful, the kids all enjoyed the activities they did it just was lacking direction & asssitance.
