Absolutely worth to check out! And it is mostly local beacause of people who have enough guts to start their own business, that alone is a good reason to support them! It's open Wednesdays from 3-7pm, a few Saturdays as well. You can stop by after work, get good groceries AND have dinner there while listening to some live music. Took a break for lunch and decided to try the dessert waffles here. Food: I ordered the strawberry waffle and it is simply delicious. The ingredients are fresh and the waffle was fluffy. Everything was correctly portioned and balanced well. Although it was a simple dish, they sure executed it well here. I will return to try their savory dishes. Value: fairly good price for the portions you are getting. Best to share the dessert with a group, unless you are me.

The burger was one of the daily lunch specials and came with fries. With the vitamin water, it was all less than $10 and made fresh to order. The table numbers are rather ingenious too. To avoid a slough of people waiting around the counter, Simply Good Eats has helium balloons attached to a little post, each with a number on it. I gave one to everyone, and still have a drawer full of them somewhere (I can't dump them, the memories are too cherished). Oh or when we'd braid strings into bracelets. Or just take a wide assortment of beats, spell out our names, and make jewelery with that. Bead & Plenty More was the place I went to get my supplies. Seriously, this place was like heaven and still is today. I feel like a kid in this store. The assortment of beads and general craft work in this store is amazing. Whatever you need (wire, pliers, potential pendants, craft books, etc), it's all there. Just walking into this store and seeing all the shapes, colours, and materials (metal or plastic beads) got the creative juices flowing. Oh how I miss those days where giving your friends a custom made bracelet or necklace was a big deal, and that was their birthday present. I think I need to return to those days, even if it looks cheap.
