They sent me to South Florida where, for the first five years of my Federal Law Enforcement career, I was a Special Agent, assigned to Marine Drug Interdiction. In addition to that experience, I have owned and operated boats since the mid '70's. I am an experienced Boat Operator, and I have a 100 Ton Ocean Master's Certificate. In late 2019, we replaced our Scarab with a 2020 NauticStar 2302 Center Console, a design favored by Law Enforcement everywhere. We bought the boat from Coast to Coast Marine in Somerset, KY who recommended Sick Speed Marine to install the electronics. I like a boat outfitted with the equipment I am used to - VHF, RADAR, SONAR, Directional Remote Controlled Searchlight, etc. I've found that most local boaters do not use VHF radios - a must have option in South Florida where this boat will spend much of it's time. My friends would characterize me as being somewhat "OCD," and others might use more colorful adjectives but, suffice it to say, anything less than first rate equipment, properly installed, and fully functional is wholly unacceptable to me. The sea is an unforgiving place, and on more than one occasion, my safety has depended upon it. I was offered a fair price, and I accepted the proposed invoice as written, with the understanding that everything would be professionally installed. He was incredibly professional. Mistakes happen and he made it right in my eyes. I would gladly do busy there again. I took my iPhone 14 Pro Max in to replace the back I had broken. That repair was well over $300. Costly, but I agreed. They broke the screen taking off. They said it was completely white. Then I was told it would cost me to replace the screen, another $300 and some dollars. Now if I were a mechanic and someone has me work on their engine. If I dent the fender, I would have to fix it at my cost not the customer. But they, the professionals brake my screen and I have to pay for them to repair the damage to my phone. Great way to make extra money I guess. Next time, I'll just buy a new phone. It will cost me about the same.

The fact that all of their products are 100% American-made speaks well of the company. However, their newest product, the E-Vac, could use some improvements. The bare metal grip has a slick surface and is hard to grasp in wet environments. The thickness of the blade's spine, while concealable, does not match other knives of similar design on the market today, such as the Cold Steel Tiger Claw. The knife is somewhat difficult to draw from the sheath and almost impossible to return to the sheath without a lot of attention. This is being marketed to Law Enforcement as a "backup weapon," but there is no valid training nor any product manual created to support that. They do offer classes for the item, but those are in limited situations. The product does come in several colors and themes, including a double holster option in which two knives are opposite each other. I hope they will continue to refine this item in future production runs. Currently, their website domain name is for sale, which makes one question the future of the company. They did offer gunsmithing and a variety of mods for the AR platform.
