Little Moony is the cutest little store we coincidentally walked by last Saturday morning. We were hoping to find a children's store as we were in the area for our son's martial arts class and wanted to buy a gift for a 1 year olds birthday party. The clothes are exquisite and plain cute! The toys are engaging and the books are New York themed! The store is just beautifully curated! Just feels joyful. Our friends are Dutch, so it was serendipitous that we saw some crocheted Miffy dolls all the way from the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam! We had to get the Miffy in the Van Gogh flower dress and we also got the Night and Day NY book. Will definitely go again to buy any kids gift! read more

We went to exchange a duplicate item that my daughter had already received and were told that because we didn't exchange it within 14 days that they would deduct 25% of the price of the item. That is pretty amazing considering my daughter is a new mother and it is difficult to get to the store right after giving birth. I would expect more from such a high priced store. read more

I received gifts for my tots that unfortunately did not fit. I hadn't realize that I was past the return policy but the owner was kind enough to still give me credit. He was accommodating and helped me find something that would work for us. The shop was full of adorable things, so much character. Many of the clothes there are made by the owner, who follows a zero-waste policy meaning that fabric scraps are transformed into matching headbands and clips. This is only the third review I've ever written. I shopped at Little Moony for a friend's new baby, born in London. I love everything about the store. The fabric choices are wonderful and unique, made with an attention to detail not always present in baby clothes made in the U.S.A., as these are. They also have wonderful and fun accessory items. Their prices are more than fair, considering the fine quality, and the owner couldn't be nicer or more helpful. If newborn, toddler, or children's clothing is what you're after, I can't recommend Little Moony more, or give it higher praise. read more

Great store. I have made three purchases for my daughter there and she wears all three constantly. For a four year old I have to think that'sa record. The first thing I bought was a red stripped dress with pockets. At 2 it was a dress and at 4 its now one of her favorite shirts. 2 years and a lot of wears later you would not be able to guess this dress/shirt had as man toddler miles on it as it does. Fantastic business. I stopped into the Little Moony stand at the big market on Houston St. and was immediately taken with it. The owner of the business was friendly and extremely accommodating. I bought a pair of low-crotch pants in size 2-3 and took them home, only to realize that my son needed a 3-4. Within weeks she'd had a new pair made and shipped to me free of charge.
