My daughter has been attending this daycare for about a year and a half. We've never had any…read moreissues. She has absolutely loved all of her teachers and the administrators do a great job of keeping us informed of any issues or "incidents" that may occur with other students from time to time. My daughter learns a lot and comes home to us each day happy and healthy which is the most important part!

I truly can't say enough how you should not leave your kids here. I was new to the SA area and…read morevisited this school because it had an opening and usually all the schools have wait lists. When we took my son it only lasted a few weeks. Every time I would pick him up he'd be filthy. Nose messy, lunch was all over his shirt, and just dirty! He was constantly sick which made me notice how everything truly wasn't clean. My son was only 12 months old and had a really hard time transitioning. I would do pop in visits to see that my son was really struggling. One day he stopped sleeping in his crib at home (he's been in his crib sorry free since month 3) I decided to investigate. I did a walk in one day and noticed they had been putting my son in a crib to just cry for about 2 hours since they have a full class of toddlers. They told me he was "napping" but he was clearly upset with snot and tears running down his face. There was no blankets or anything in the crib, just a cold plastic crib mattress. I spoke with the director about this problem and she said she would call me if he was having a bad day so that he wouldn't be crying for hours a day. Well the very next day I pick him up and they told me he'd been crying for 8 full hours AND NO ONE CALLED. I immediately withdrew care. It breaks my heart that they can treat these little babies like this. If you're reading this you should really think about finding a new place that truly cares for kids.

The Pillars is a great choice if you are looking for a faith-based education for your child. They…read moredo daily prayers and praise/worship and have Chapel every week. They also do a great job with academics and use good curriculum and have tons of hands-on activities for the kids. They also do a lot of events where parents can get involved with the school - which is great.

But noticed over the years, the teacher turnover rate was INSANE. (27 teachers total, left in 2024 alone and they don't even staff that many). Every couple weeks there seemed to be new teachers. My oldest moved to kinder this August and my youngest started. In August started the largest decline of a daycare I've ever seen, multiple teachers and the best director were fired and a new one replaced her. But with that, firings continued, one teacher was rehired (who had been previously fired for multiple reason, the largest being bullying children), CCS has been pulled, and there's maybe 5 or 6 classrooms actually being filled with children because so many parents have left (rightfully so). They're combining classrooms now because just as many teachers are leaving, so children don't have that consistency of the same teacher. The only reason and I mean the ONLY reason I stay was because the absolute LOVE and endearment I had for Viridiana. She is an angel/ one-in-a-million teacher you find who actually loves and cares for the babies as her own. Everyday I dropped my child off, it felt as if I was leaving him with family and I knew my child was taken care of. Other than that, it's obvious that the teachers are overworked, understaffed and under appreciated. Do yourself a favor and look at the violations on this website, more than likely, the three teachers I observed who are having these major red flag issues are still there. https://childcare.hhs.texas.gov/Public/InspectionAndComplianceHistory?operationId=1487369
